Wow! One phone call, was all it took. The arrangement to have my cart brought in for diagnosis and repair was made. Cart was picked up about 9:00 am, repairs and service completed, cleaned and was back to my place by 1:30 pm! The cart runs great again, and the underside cleaned and lubricated! I have on older 2003 EZGO bought from a friend recommended Robinsons. Was I ever sorry! First had it looked over and SERVICED( key word). Nothing wrong fully checked out... months later wouldn't start. Arranged another service and instead of following instructions did a tune up kit,replaced spark plugs,replaced airfilter, lube chassis,replaced fuel filter,ful pump,and checked oil. Went to test drive and was told engine was about SHOT...WHY NOT CALL AND ASK IF I STILL WANTED IT SERVICED¿¿?? NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR MIS COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SECRETARY, MACHANIC and Owner. Working with Robinson Golf cart is like working with a used car dealership. All about making a sale and sticking it to you. We were able to buy a used golf cart from them and did some upgrades to the cart. This was a couple years ago and they have not changed their customer service. When we originally purchased the cart it took longer than we were quoted but that's the world we live in. Finally receiving the cart we had a couple things wrong with it. The biggest thing that was wrong was the key kept falling out of the ignition. Bob , who originally helped sell the cart told us that there was nothing wrong with a key falling out of the ignition while the car was on. or Just leave it on and pull the key out. We had to argue the point that this is a safety issue and if an adult or kid got behind the wheel, it would take off on them! He couldn't care less! After finally arguing the issue they came out to change the ignition. In the last month due to the weather, it was not being driven and failed to hold a charge. We then called Robinson golf cart to come check the batteries and do a hard charge . They picked it up in a timely manner, but when delivered back we noticed the brake lights were not running. We figured it may have just been a loose wire because they were messing with the power. We relied on a professional Golf Cart mechanic . We called a couple days later saying the lights were not on, Could we please get some assistance. They were two weeks out no problem - we understand. They called to say the cart was ready for delivery and I was told I needed to pay another pick up and delivery fee. We had no problem paying to service the brake pad that was broken, but why should we pay for a delivery fee after they just had it? The cart was completely dead the first time they picked it up. How are we to know that the brake lights would not come on? It was dead! Paul then got on the phone after I said I had an issue with paying for a delivery fee after it was just in the shop. I was told that there are over 130 items on a golf cart and they are not required to check them before leaving the shop. Only what we originally discussed. Which would have been the battery's charge. Don't buy or service with Robertson Golf Cart please! You don't deserve the experience they give! PAUL said I have the option to go other places. I guess that means they don't want our business, and I hope by reading this you will reconsider not sending your business there either. read more

We had bought a reconditioned cart from Robinsons before, so were comfortable when my wife and I went in to order a rebuilt one to be built from a lease return. We went over the details of what we wanted line be line for a rebuilt cart. When the cart was delivered, we were on the way to the hospital to visit a friend who was in an bad accident. So drove it into the garage. We returned to take the cart for a ride up to the restaurant to find that the governer was still on. Turned around. Further inspection show the side of plastic top looked like a belt sander had been taken to the side of it. On the back of the top was a glue /dirt outline from the numbers that where there when the top was part of a courses fleet. The new upholstered rear seat had glue on it. The horn did not work. Also noticed it rode a bit rough. All in all - very sloppy work. The top was replaced, the governor reset from 12 to 20mph, and the horn fixed. We started using it and found more issues. The rear gate required a hammer to get it out and the neighbors reported that gate blocked the taillights. Another trip back and these got fixed, but it still rides like a farm truck that has seen better days. Their solution for that is to spray wd40 on the suspension. There are more issues that I had to fix myself. It turns when they rebuild a cart, they are just working on cosmetics and not very good at that. read more

I bought a used golf cart from Robinson in February 2023. It came with a 30-day warranty. Upon delivery, it was apparent that oil was leaking from the rear-end. I immediately called to have them pick up the cart, which they did, and was told they replaced a seal, they brought it back to me. This work was covered under the warranty. Upon delivery the second time, after 1 day, there was still oil leaking from the rear end. Also, I noticed a rotating squeaking sound from the motor so I called them back. They came to pick it up and told me that a wheel bearing was bad. They fixed that and brought it back to my home. Upon delivery the third time, the leaking had stopped, but the squeaking was worse. When I called them, they said I would need to pay for the pickup fee and any repairs. This was the last day of the 30-day warranty, but the issue had been reported to them within the 30-days. After taking the cart to a different service shop, I was told there was possibly a dry bearing in the motor and the input shaft seal is leaking oil. Also, Robinson stated they had installed new batteries in this used cart in December, I bought in February. There weren't any hold down rods on the batteries so I need to pay to add those now. Also, the rear leaf springs were not replaced with heavy duty springs when the rear seat was installed on the cart - so now I need to replace those as well. To this day, I am driving a cart that squeaks when moving. I am trying to find another shop who can fix this problem and provide the other needed repairs. Basically, I think they knew there was something wrong with the motor when they sold this cart to me. And when I asked them to honor the warranty, I was told that they "fixed" the problems until the warranty expired. All the while knowing that the engine had problems and they deliberately decided they weren't fixing it correctly. What a shame! NEVER AGAIN WILL I RECOMMEND ROBINSON GOLF CART TO ANYONE! read more

My golf cart developed an electrical problem which resulted in my not being able to charge the batteries but also resulted in a burned wire in the battery compartment. I briefly explained my problem to the person who answered the phone and she set me up for a pickup the next day. After they looked at the cart, they called me and explained fully what the problem was and what they would do to fix it. They also explained what it would cost and when it would be repaired and returned to me. I really appreciate the way Robinson communicated with me and their accuracy in assessing the problem and the repairs. Great work and I'll be back! read more

In October 2022 Robinson Golf Carts replaced my batteries and was supposed to also replace 3 tie-down rods. They only replaced 1 but I was charged for 3. I called and they came and picked up the cart. After nearly a month and several calls, I asked to have the cart returned but the 2 missing rods were still missing. A few days later someone dropped 2 rods by and expected me to install them. Now the second issue, immediately after getting the cart back I notice the battery gauge would show anywhere from 1/2 charge to 0 charge when I knew I had just charged it. I replaced the gauge, which cost me $50 + and still had the same problem. After doing some troubleshooting, I discovered one of the battery cables was loose and the nut had fused from arcing so I can't tighten it. Called Robinson and the operations manager said they would not fix it without charging me and indicated it was my fault for not checking the cables for tightness and said he had already furnished me with at least 6 tie-down rods. I only have 3 rods of which 2 are still not installed. I have never been treated so badly. All I asked was to be treated fairly and made whole. read more

Robinson Golf Carts sold a couple in their 80's a used EZGO TXT. Fine cart and perfect for this couple. The issue is the couple wanted a rear seat which Robinson was happy to sell them, they installed it but their service people didn't even noticed the leaf springs were shot with one side 2 inches lower than the other. Obviously adding the weight of the rear seat would make this cart unsafe to drive. The mark of a good company is one that would not sell an unsafe vehicle. read more

I tried to explain to this gentleman multiple times that I have a running golf cart I also checked the schematic and it is wired correctly because it was running. and now I don't have a running golf cart everything in there is new.
