We got a newly rebuilt Club Car from Action Golf Carts. We had the cart for two weeks when it burst into flame and tried to burn our new house down with it. When approached by myself and my insurance agent, the owner, Hub Goyen and the crew at Action Golf Cart would not stand behind their product or their work, pointing instead to their warranty. Both the fire department investigator and insurance investigator believe the fire was a result of workmanship. The batteries and charger were not the cause of or surprisingly even affected by the fire which started under the dash. We live in a 55 and older community where word of this fire traveled fast. We had two people tell us that they also had minor wiring problems with rebuilt carts purchased from Action Golf Cart. Minor as in lights didn't work... thankfully for them no fires. If you are looking for a reputable company that stands behind their work, don't choose Action Golf Carts. read more

They had a nice assortment of pre owned golf carts that had been reconditioned to "like new" condition. The vehicle I chose looked perfect. The dealer added a new windshield, new sand/seed bottles and most importantly brand new top end batteries. They serviced it and delivered the cart when they said they would. This was by far the best vehicle delivery we've ever had. Action did exactly as they promised, did it incredibly quickly, and delivered a beautiful new golf cart for a price that was $2000 less than we could find it anywhere else. Our experience in the dealership was well above par as well. They were pleasant, polite, and helpful. They listened to what we wanted and did not try to upsell us on anything. The Action sales team ranks 4.5 stars. That said, I purchased a new Club Car Onward golf cart. It was not cheap (over $13K). The cart arrived with a very inexpensive windshield that rattled continuously while operating the cart, regardless of the driving surface. The team at Action Golf Cart Rentals and Sales told us that that was a common complaint from customers. They said they could install an upgraded windshield for about $300. I reluctantly agreed, though I thought for the price of the cart an upgraded windshield should have been included in the first place or at least disclosed. That was 6 weeks ago with no word or follow-up from the folks at Action. Not sure if Action or Club Car have responsibility here but I purchased a replacement windshield from another cart dealership for around $200. Rattling problem solved. Action met most of their commitments except following or showing up with a new windshield. I'm not sure I can recommend them at this point. read more

I visited this dealership even though I had one much closer. I asked for a quote and decided to visit before I got it. I must say I had to twist my own arm to drive so far to see a cart that I could find miles closer. It was a great decision as our sales associate, Don, was very pleasant and took as much time as necessary to aid us in our decision whether to purchase a Club Car or an EZGO. The office staff was just as pleasant and worked to get our paperwork as quickly as possible. With high recommendations from many friends of our retirement community we went to Action to possibly buy a refurbished cart. I was impressed with the look of their business site and the entire staff was wonderful and patient with us as we went through all the options you can choose....We selected a 2014 Ezgo rxv which is redone from top to bottom with just about any combination of colors , attachments, wheels, dashes, etc etc etc. They are so knowledgeable and thorough with you and go over and over the specific order to be absolutely certain they have every detail exactly as we requested. They have a nice selection on hand that you can buy but we opted to have one done with our specific color combination , seats and accessories. They should have our cart completed and delivered to us within a couple of weeks tops. You owe it to yourself to make Action a must stop when you are ready to buy a golf cart. They do offer a 6 month warranty on each cart but we did opt to buy a two year warranty plan that covers everything but wear and tear issues....Really gives you peace of mind to know your cart will be covered for any defects after your purchase. read more
