I needed new cart batteries on Jan, 2024 which they replaced and put turn signals and installed a dedicated key assembly for me as golf carts all use the same keys. Make sure you spend the money on a new key ignition or you may find your cart missing from the clubhouse! read more

I called their service department to see if they serviced my type of golf cart, which they do not. Instead of dismissing me, Steve looked up and provide me with information for a different dealer that should be able to service my cart. It doesn't sound like much but them taking the time and not being dismissive was a refreshing change. If they are this helpful and polite to someone that is not a customer, I can only imagine how they treat customers. If I ever purchase a new golf cart or have one that they do service, they will absolutely be my first call. read more

I personally reserved a Golf Kart from A1 Golf Karts in West Palm Beach while attending the Barrett Jackson Auction with my family to be picked up upon arrival. Upon attempt to pickup the Cart I was informed there were no Karts available and I could be put on a list. This was an extremely difficult situation. Due to the fact the one of my family members has a very serious medical condition and is unable to walk for a long distance. We were ultimately contacted basically at the end of the day that a kart had become available. We picked up the kart and operated it until Saturday afternoon when it was rendered inoperable due to a mechanical failure which would not allow it to start. I contacted the representative on site at the rental deck and advised of the issue. We waited for a significant period and no one provided assistance. As I am on the way to the Airport I receive notification from American Express that an additional transaction was fraudulently charged for an additional $250.00 without my consent. Basically this Company fraudulently charged my Credit Card with out any prior approval and rented my family a golf kart that was unsafe to operate and restart. Not a very positive experience with a disabled relative who can't walk. read more

Bill is the bomb! What a nice man who took his time to explain everything to us even though we assured him we would not be buying, we were just window shopping and asking a bunch of dumb questions. He didn't care because he's not on commission and just loves his job and loves people and the family owned business he works for. He gave a tour of the place and all the old soon to be refurbished golf carts in the back. I love that they offer a yearly tune up and offer to pick up your cart from your home for next to nothing. In the end WE BOUGHT A CART! What can I say, the hubs and I both have no willpower, we like to enjoy the little money we have and we love to support family owned local businesses! Paid A1 $171 to fix a noise the cart made when making sharp turns left ot right. Got it back and it now makes loud noises all the time. When You sit in the cart it makes loud squeaky noises. Any movement at all make loud squeaky noise. A1 replaced both axle bearings. They say they didn't make it worse. THAT IS NOT TRUE. It NEVER made those noises before. My wife will no longer use the cart for golf it is so embarrassing. read more

Disappointing purchase. Bought a 2018 EZGO RXV Elite less than 6 months ago. When it gets delivered the backup beeper is really loud, and the key is a universal key (the provided key fits ALL EZGO carts). I ask how much to quiet down the beeper, and change the key to a private key. It'd be $ 100 for each, and the cart has to be picked up and driven back to the shop in Chandler. I quieted down the beeper myself, in 3 minutes with a piece of duct tape worth 50 cents. Two days ago, a crack appears in the plexiglass windshield, starting where the hole was drilled to bolt it onto the windshield - obviously not installed correctly, creating a stress point. I call and ask if it's a warranty item. Service dep't rep says "maybe but we'd have to bring it back to the shop to inspect it, and we're really booked up right now so it'd be about 6 weeks". I ask if I can take it off, and bring just the windshield in, and the answer is no, they need the whole cart. I ask how much for a new windshield, and it's over $ 200 if they install it, and $ 169.50 if you install it yourself (but you have to drill your own holes in the plexiglass which is probably a good idea, considering the way they installed the screen in the first place). I've ordered a replacement windshield with pre-drilled holes from Amazon for $ 84 and free shipping. I cannot honestly recommend A-1 Golf Carts to anyone looking to purchase a golf cart, accessories or service for a golf cart. read more

Buy your cart from A1 ,no problem, Just make sure it is before the year 2015 ,because after that they're lemons, trust me . And by all means, DO NOT, let (Les) come to your home and try to attempt to fix your golf cart, you'll be in for a horrible surprise. I'm really disappointed in the service I received here. I brought my cart in for service because the batteries weren't charging completely. They installed $700 in new batteries and charged me another 280 bucks for other repairs but the real problem was the battery charger needed to be repaired. The battery charger repair cost me only 66 bucks. I'm not saying that it was a bad idea to replace the batteries or that it was a bad idea to do any of the other maintenance and repairs that they performed but I didn't really have the $980 I gave them the first time, and the fact that the charger wasn't performing right caused my new batteries to not charge properly and now they don't charge completely. Now I'm into my golf cart repairs over $1,000 and my new batteries don't work right. My golf carts working okay now but when I go to buy a new one I'm going to an establishment I can trust and respect and it won't be A1 golf carts read more

I agree with the previous review, but wanted to add our experience. My elderly mother uses an electric cart we purchased new from A-1 a couple of years ago. It stopped running the other day. We called A-1 and they gave us a 1 week pickup for service. She was not happy! A-1 called us the next day and said she shouldn't have to wait that long, and they would pick it up that day, which they did. They then returned it the following day. Boy! Was mom happy!!
