The atmosphere felt chaotic and poorly organized from the moment we arrived. In addition, several vendors and offerings promised in the event marketing were nowhere to be found. For a ticketed "grand tasting," the cheese selection was surprisingly basic, focusing on standard fare like basic cheddar and colby jack rather than unique, artisanal varieties. The pairings were scattered randomly around the store like an unintended scavenger hunt, and the drink tastings felt rushed and performative amidst the surrounding disorganization. The service only made matters worse. The store's staff appeared visibly stressed and uncoordinated; while waiting in line to use the restroom after our long drive, two separate team members approached to scold us for being inside the store early. To make matters more uncomfortable, we overheard the owner nearly reprimand an employee before stopping herself when she noticed customers were nearby. Basic inquiries were met with subtle side-eye and dismissive energy, making us feel unwelcome throughout the visit. A feeling further compounded as people of color in an environment where we felt distinctly out of place. We left very hungry and thoroughly disappointed after paying for a ticketed experience. We won't be returning.
