Part of the charm of Vermont in the summer is the fresh produce. You can't even compare what passes for "fresh" in a city store to what is sold at places like Blue Mountain. For yellow summer squash, as one small example, there is no comparison: here it's crisp and flavorful, almost like a different food from what is sold at home. Having the fresh vegetables is part of the charm of being in Vermont. Keep up the good work Blue Mountain!!

But I suspect the answer would be "yes, it's pricey but it's worth it". For those who buy premade stuff, that is.
