Michele's careful and personalized attention has brought my guy health and happiness. Having constant turnout in giant pastures with other horses, as well as unlimited hay and ample grain has made him perfectly plump and healthy. Her thoughtful, kind, and strategic approach to training my ottb has made him more than happy to work and given him the balance and confidence to do things I once thought impossible. But the biggest thing more me is her patience with me. I was scared of my horse that I didn't understand. Michele has taught me how to better horse owner, horse listener, and given my boy and I confidence and trust in each other. Finally, with her network of top-notch professionals (farrier, vet, etc.) my guy is...dare I say...an easy keep?! I couldn't live this place more. When I was forced to move to a few years after coming here, I chose to keep my guy here and visit monthly. It breaks my heart being away from him but I can't imagine taking him away from the family, comfort, and trustworthiness of M&S.

I spent a lot of money to provide our own food,  decorations,  games, pinata, and crafts. I arrive at 12 to set up for the party at 1:00. Im greeted in a rude manor that they weren't expecting me yet. We wait around then are lead to a barn with an all dirt floor. TRASH in front of the barn.. a broken window screen and random junk. Right inside the barn is a huge pile of trash and junk. Could be rats or animals living in it. Not safe for 4 year olds. Im given 2 dirty tables and no chairs. This was the moment  I started crying. I wanted to leave and take my daughter some place else but people were going to be there at any minute. They try to make it right by bringing a dirty patio table and moldy chairs. Did I mention no heat? Most my guest stood for 3 hours. Dust is getting all over the food. I will give credit where it due. We were doing a repunzel party and one of the girls wore the outfit..she was great with the kids. The riding was okay. I think the arena could have been kept nicer and horses could have been cleaned up better. We made the best of what we could and I have photos to back up all of this review. I wouldn't let my dog have a party here and would not recommend any preschooler coming here. The trash is a hazard. I was offered a partial refund but this isn't about the money. This is a respect issues. Take my money and get a dumpster in there. What should have been a magical day was a total embarrassment.

We put the horses first, so before making assumptions about said horses, ask. Many of our horses are rescues, so perfect looks don't come like 'that'. It takes time. Ferrier is out when needed, Stalls are done everyday, if not twice a day. All horses are UTD on medications, shots, etc. They get hay 24/7, inside and outside. Water is 24/7 as well, outdoor troughs and indoor buckets. There is so much more I could add, but in conclusion I love the barn, and I couldn't ask for better. :)

The staff were so patient and made sure we were comfortable with the horses, which were so gentle and beautiful. The ride was so great, I was sad to see it end. The two ladies that were our guides were so informative and taught us good things to know as we were riding. We will definitely be going back. Her horses are fantastic, well rounded, safe, and offer a challenge for riders of all levels. She takes the time to properly address safety for horse and rider as well as the details required to properly care for and own a horse. My child has…read morelearned so much in the +9 months she's been riding with Ellen who's an excellent Dressage instructor, and an amazing horse owner. At King's View Acres the focus isn't just on riding, in addition to that, Ellen teaches kids how to properly take care of their horse inside and out. The stables are always clean, and the horses are clearly happy/healthy. Overall this has been a great experience for my child, she's more confident and eager to tackle challenges. Location is great and the area schools support drop offs which is super convenient and a time saver.

I have been so impressed with how Wendy encourages and interacts with the students. They clearly seem very capable riders . I don't always agree with judges ranking ...I was not happy to always have her pony Saw Horse Sue beat me all the time! It helped me want to improve and I did on an occasion finally come a head of that pony! Apparently cheering for myself was poor showmanship...haha. Wendy always had time for my questions and supported my efforts. It seems her students are very devoted and committed. Shows at her farm are wonderful. I will say that my barn is also wonderful and has a great teacher. Each rider has to see where the fit is best. You need a horse or pony for your level and encouragement to improve your skills. As an older rider, I found that it takes some modifications and Wendy apparently is able to work with all ages of learners.
