My friend and I decided to eat "PEI Mussels and bread" the Mariniere version. The mussels were delectable! Nice, plump and easy to chew and swallow. The soup at the bottom of the cute little cauldron like pot they give you is White Wine, Garlic, Onion, Parsley, Cream and it is a very thick creamy soup. The baristas were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the food and coffee were both delicious. A lot of the time, a milk drink like this can have a pretty flat flavour profile, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Little Sister's espresso shots have a nice complexity and nuance that shines through the creamy milk. Over the course of a few days in Winnipeg, I was here more than once and got multiple drinks both times and left with two bags of beans, for myself and a friend. What more do you need to know?
