I was very excited to dine at Clementines as I've heard rave reviews about it. This is a…read morehole-in-the-wall brunch place that you could easily miss, and it very much feels like an underground brunch place. We got here at around 10 am. There is generally a long wait if you don't come here within the first hour of opening, so do take care in getting here early if you want to minimize wait times. We ended up waiting 40 minutes-ish, which was fine with me. We did finally get seated, and since we spent the whole morning looking at the menu. We ordered the fried potatoes together. He got the fried chicken on toast for his main, and I got the lamb breakfast sandwich. I thought the food was only ok. The fried potatoes were decent. The cook on the potato was not really what I expected, as I thought the potatoes would be crispier. The sauce really saves this dish. I had a bite of the fried chicken on toast and it was pretty good. The chicken was well cooked and nicely seasoned. I also thought my lamb burger was just ok. The meat was pretty good but I wasn't a fan of the bun as it was a little dry. We did also order drinks. My boyfriend ordered matcha. He said it was ok and wished it was a little stronger. I had a caramel latte and thought it was good. Overall, this is a decent place to get brunch. I think if I were to come back, I would maybe try different menu items. The prices were good and the overall ambience is great.

Great toy store alternative to going to Toys 'r Us. This place has a lot of cute toys for kids and…read moreeven some adults. It's more of an old school toy store, you won't really find Barbies or video games there but there's a lot of offerings that kids will love because it'll actually allow them to use their imagination! The staff are okay, I can't say they've been super attentive but it gives you time to just browse without someone hovering over you.

There's an art to putting together a top-notch toy store. You have to make sure that there's something uniquely fun and entertaining for all ages and all personality types. Toad Hall perfectly appeals to everyone from the simplest child to the grown up supergeek. It's all beautifully arranged. There's a section on touchy-feely tactile toys. There are stuffed animals and puppets. There are areas of the store dedicated to space aged robotic contraptions. There are places for those who are really into magical ponies. And then there's the absolute best model railroad center within a thousand miles. And although it is large without being overwhelming, It's still extremely difficult to browse here without being compelled to buy something. And it's extremely difficult to make that selection... there's just too much amazing. This place is like an extremely well curated FAO Schwartz... every toy is hand selected for it's uniqueness, creative strength and pure fun. In a city where children of all ages have to find inventive ways to stay warm in the winter, this spectacular store rises to the challenge and knocks it out of the park. A must see.
