Since I hadn't seen a dentist for a while, this seemed valid. Next, I hear from my dental insurance that there wasn't sufficient proof provided for the replaning and my insurance denied this coverage. Now I owe the practice the denied claim for the re-planing of my entire mouth and i just feel scammed because if i didnt need it, why was it offered, and now I have to pay completely out of pocket. I'll likely be finding a new dentist office to do my cleaning at in the future.

I found this office on google and they accepted my insurance, Hayley booked mine and my husbands…read moreappointments over the phone quickly and professionally. We just wanted a check up and the free cleaning/X-rays that our insurance covered. They send forms by email which is convenient and they were very thorough in the questions. We arrived for each of our appts on the same day and both were told we needed to have "deep cleaning" and they couldn't do it that day. And insurance doesn't cover it. Now why, after telling them on the phone it had been YEARS since we had been to the dentist, would they make us come in just to have to schedule us on another day. They weren't able to do anything other than X-rays. So we both took a day off work for nothing. They also quoted me $4500 for Invisalign and kinda pushed it hard but I refused and declined that service. Deep cleaning requires two appts. So we scheduled them for the following two weeks. Two more missed days of work for each of us. The dental hygienist (Shannon?) was amazing and friendly, told me she didn't understand why I needed to come for two appts because mine wasn't that bad. She did the first half of my cleaning. She saw my husband and then the male dentist did his cavity drilling - during which time he cut my husbands tongue several times with the drill and blamed it on him having too strong a tongue? He ended up prescribing a mouthwash and ibuprofen only after I texted the office to ask what had happened. When I came back the next week, it was the same male dentist who my husband had seen who did my cleaning. They pushed for me to do novocaine shots over and over even though I didn't need them the first time and it hadn't hurt at all then. The dentist seemed much rougher with this half of my cleaning, then lasered my gums which wasn't done before. Then, they realized I didn't have the lasers done on the first visit so they had to come back and do it again. They then told me I needed $400 more of work to replace a crack in my tooth that they suddenly noticed during the cleaning? But not on the X-rays the first visit? The different dentist that first day had told me I had no cavities or teeth issues. Seemed off. It took my husband FOUR further visits to get his two crowns put on. One day their equipment wasn't working so they cancelled same day. One day the crowns came in and they didn't fit so they redid X-rays. One day(after I spoke to the office two days prior and asked them to confirm his crowns had been delivered, which they confirmed) he showed up to his 8am appt for them to tell him the crowns never came in their shipment and they would "hopefully" come in by the afternoon so maybe they could see him then? Why would they tell me the crowns were in the office when they weren't? This has been a nightmare of an experience. I also received two phone calls in the weeks after my cleaning appts offering to knock off a couple hundred if I did the $4500 Invisalign they recommended. It was such pushy sales it really turned me off. The gal at the front desk Hayley is super friendly and likeable, but this felt like high-pressure sales. It seemed like at every appt they wanted to tack on a new expensive problem that didn't exist before. I wanted to love this office, but I would never recommend them.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Perri and away we went. Dr Perri's assistant/office worker, Morgan, who was a very professional youth lady and around the same age as Nicholas, let me know the cost and that my dental insurance at the time was very limited. As it turned out, my co-pay for the removal to four wisdom teeth was quite large. I asked Morgan if I would be able to split the payment up into a few payments, and she told me she would discuss it with Dr. Perry. Either way the procedure had to be done. After the procedure, and having not heard back from Morgan, I broke out the old check book. Praying I had enough money cover the large co-payment I was sure I was now expected to render before I left. I asked what the total would be and Morgan smiled her pretty smile and told me the Dr Perri had waived the ENTIRE co-payment. Eternally grateful, Dr Perri and BFD became my family Dentist from that day forward. Time rolls on and through the years, we were able to enjoy Dr Perri's Morgan's and later Dr Ashley Araiza's care. Time continued, and Dr Perry was called home (RIP). Nick and Ashley became adults and moved on with their lives. Having lost my health care in 2014 due to government mandated yearly rising cost, I also lost my dental insurance. Needing some dental repairs, I once again called BFD. Hearing Morgans familiar voice, I scheduled an appointment for myself. Dr. Araiza was able to fix the problem and only charged me a very reasonable fee. Its great to have good Family friends to rely on in a time of need. Thank Dr. Araiza, Morgan, and The rest of the BFD staff for many years on dedicated Family Dental Care. Five stars for you!
