After a year of trying to get them to help me I went to other experts. Six in a row identified the problem as the posts were installed too low and angled inappropriately causing the bite to be misaligned. This has taken 3 years of my life and $52,000. I would say you could make a better choice. I know of 4 other lawsuits that were won against them.

I feel like I must warn future potential patients about this dentist. I was a patient for over 20…read moreyears before I realized what an ineffectual dentist he is. Due to my anxiety about dentistry and trust in medical professionals, I was taken advantage of for years at this office. This dentist will scrutinize your insurance and then convince you to have unnecessary procedures so that he can secure as much of your insurance money as possible. For example-he convinced us to redo an already existing crown that had no issues simply because it was old. I questioned him about it, and he admitted that it was not medically necessary. That was the last time my husband and I ever had anything to do with this office. Additionally, his skills are outdated and his equipment is antiquated. His skill level was discovered by my new dentist that was mortified at the quality of his work that she saw when she examined both my husband and my teeth. We have since found a competent dentist, and are astonished at the difference an actual modern, smart, kind dentist is actually like. It is entirely my fault that this happened to me and my husband. I should have been more diligent, less trusting, and more questioning. I'm glad I finally got wind of what was going on and urge anyone contemplating getting work done here to please seek other dentists. There are many choices and you only have so many teeth. It is clear that this dentist does not care about his patients and their dental health. He cares about how to use each patient as a commodity which I feel is unethical and fraudulent.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Perri and away we went. Dr Perri's assistant/office worker, Morgan, who was a very professional youth lady and around the same age as Nicholas, let me know the cost and that my dental insurance at the time was very limited. As it turned out, my co-pay for the removal to four wisdom teeth was quite large. I asked Morgan if I would be able to split the payment up into a few payments, and she told me she would discuss it with Dr. Perry. Either way the procedure had to be done. After the procedure, and having not heard back from Morgan, I broke out the old check book. Praying I had enough money cover the large co-payment I was sure I was now expected to render before I left. I asked what the total would be and Morgan smiled her pretty smile and told me the Dr Perri had waived the ENTIRE co-payment. Eternally grateful, Dr Perri and BFD became my family Dentist from that day forward. Time rolls on and through the years, we were able to enjoy Dr Perri's Morgan's and later Dr Ashley Araiza's care. Time continued, and Dr Perry was called home (RIP). Nick and Ashley became adults and moved on with their lives. Having lost my health care in 2014 due to government mandated yearly rising cost, I also lost my dental insurance. Needing some dental repairs, I once again called BFD. Hearing Morgans familiar voice, I scheduled an appointment for myself. Dr. Araiza was able to fix the problem and only charged me a very reasonable fee. Its great to have good Family friends to rely on in a time of need. Thank Dr. Araiza, Morgan, and The rest of the BFD staff for many years on dedicated Family Dental Care. Five stars for you!

To my surprise, I received a text that same weekend with helpful options and alternate appointment times. I later realized I was communicating directly with Dr. Ruiz. When I asked why she was responding on a weekend, she explained that both her patients and staff deserve the best support possible--especially from a small business owner. That level of personal commitment made a lasting impression. I highly recommend Dr. Ruiz and her office for any dental care needs.

My husband guilted me into going to a dentist (not because my teeth were disgusting lol) but because we were paying for my dental insurance & it was going to waste. SO I googled nearby dental offices & made an appointment with A Smile Shoppe & I wasn't looking forward to it... WELL to my surprise - from the moment I walked in I was BLOWN AWAY. This is not just any old dentist's office. This place is so clean & modern and the receptionists are all super friendly & sweet. I was still cautious & nervous about what was going to happen once I went back. Well ANOTHER SURPRISE! My technician was amazing & my cleaning was not painful OR messy! THEN I met Dr. Call & he was so kind & fun and very knowledgeable of his craft. He is the most down to earth dentist I have ever met! I did not feel like another number. I couldn't believe that I was actually having fun at a dentist's office & I didn't want to leave. I'm telling you they are AMAZING!!! Now I look forward to my 6 month cleanings!! And go regularly! My husband couldn't believe it when I got home & told him what a great time I had & that he needed to schedule an appointment asap. Dr. Call has also really helped my husband with all of the jaw pain he was having. Dr. Call is the first person who has made recommendations for him & is doing everything he can to help him.
