What an amazing experience and fun place! Instructors (Alexis and ?) are extremely knowledgeable, friendly with good supportive energy, and made sure their first timers were having a good time and perfected our form and shots the best we could. Nice equipment, good spacing for a small group (we had 13 and made do), friendly service, excellent teaching--overall, a wonderful experience and the groupie and I can't wait to experience archery again. We were hooked after this experience. We had so much fun dividing into two teams and had some competition fun. Great value for the memorable experience. This place is a must! We went here for some indoor fun out of the heat and to start our daughter's 21st bday celebration with family. Our instructors were very thorough and patient, emphasizing safety while still encouraging us to have fun. The coaching and tips our instructors gave us while we practiced were on point in helping us do better! The ages in our group ranged from 7-50 and everyone had a blast! This place is simply over n beyond my expectations in every way. Amazing, helpful, friendly staff\coaches and perfect for advanced to beginner level. We were out in the Palm Desert area for 5 weeks of which 2 days in San Diego for Socal national ternament. Amazing first time archery experience for me and my two boys! The instructor was incredible and had us shooting and hitting targets in no time. We came to Robin Hood Archery for an archery lesson for my 10 year old son. We visit the Palm Springs area often from Los Angeles and are always looking for new interesting things to do. Robin Hood did not disappoint! My son had never tried archery before and by the end of the private lesson, he was shooting arrows beautifully. The instructor was kind and patient and my son LOVED the whole experience. Pricing was very reasonable at $30 for a one-on-one lesson. The lesson lasted just over an hour and is also indoors. These guys are the only bow shop within 90 miles of me and I'm so excite they are there! They are a small family shop and when the bow tech installed my new string he also gave me a free mini lesson. I tried to schedule an appointment to go in and get my bow tuned and I also tried to order a sight through them. I called the first time and never could get in touch with the bow tech who was always out of the office. I had to call three more times to finally talk to him. Once I did he said that he would be able to order the sight but he would have to call me back which he never did. So I called back again and they said that he would get in touch with me. It has been over a week and I still haven't heard from anyone at the shop so I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
