We were really excited to bring our son here until we got there and realized they had no A/C unit in weather that was over 100 degrees. It was extremely hot and humid inside the gym and having so many people inside a smaller building just made it worse. I was told they haven't had A/C for 10 years but they put in a swamp cooler but only run it on certain days. They did have a huge fan but it only blew air on one small area of the gym. Another concern (which may not be one for others) was they had young girls dancing inappropriately to the song "milkshake" which made us feel uncomfortable and this specific concern is plainly because their values don't align with ours. Along with that they had employees talking badly about each other in the lobby and we had a problem with a payment that has now been resolved. However, that payment shouldn't have ever gone through in the first place. All in all it's just not the best environment. To be fair, there were a couple of coaches there who seemed to be sweet and actually enjoying their job. read more

Love this place! A great place for children to learn gymnastics. Friendly and caring staff and excellent training!

Although this place is pretty cool, it could be much better. There are many equipment items for kids to learn on. However, that's sort of the downside. Because of the size of the facility, the equipment seems cluttered. Also, they could use a professional cleaning here. It pains me to see the American flag be so dusty! The coaches do a good job with the kids. However, I think they run too many classes simultaneously. At times, kids (smaller ones) often go wondering through the other classes with no coaches available to stop them. Although they don't seem to mind, it can appear very chaotic when 3-5 different classes are going and using the same workout space. The staff is nice. Very friendly and accommodating. My 4yr old daughter loves it when she comes here. read more

AMAZING place!!! I was searching for something different for my daughters birthday party. We ended up choosing Power kids. It was a FANTASTIC experience from the very start to the very last second of leaving. I can't say enough about Violet and the staff. They are AMAZING!!! They treat it like it's their own personal business. No regrets! We rented the whole place to ourselves! My 10 year old daughter and all her friends had a great time and the staff was most definitely the main reason for that. Thank you Power kids! read more

We have been at Powerkids Center for almost 3 years and LOVE it! Coaches are caring and attentive. My daughter continues to be excited for more and more gymnastics. So excited that we even sign up for camps during vacation days! She cannot get enough! The girls on the competition team are so kind and supportive of all of the kids in the Rec gymnastics classes and truly set outstanding examples for those aspiring to do what they do! We just had an awesome birthday party for my granddaughter at PowerKids. The equipment was amazing! Trampolines, foam pits, rope swings and zip lines, they had it all. One thing that really stood out was the attitude of the people. The staff did everything from helping to unload the refreshments to scrounging up candles for the birthday cake. And they did it all with a smile.The coaches were attentive and extremely patient. When my daughter suggested that we have the party at a gym, I had my doubts. The girls aren't gymnasts, and I didn't know what to expect. But boy was I wrong. Everyone had a blast. read more

I recently enrolled my daughter here and unfortunately, I'm not super impressed. There's no A/C in the building (in 110+ degree weather) so it's like a sauna! It's very chaotic with several classes going on at once with little organization. I was a gymnast growing up. Each class consisted of completing the circuit...warm-up, bars, beam, etc. We'd train on almost every equipment each class. Here, my daughter will be on the beam one class, then the bars the following week. There's so many kids in her class, each needing a turn, she'll only get a few minutes of training on the equipment each lesson. They need smaller classes and less classes going on at once. The layout of equipment doesn't make sense either. Just kind of all thrown in there. As if they added pieces of equipment one at a time throughout the years. Very strange. I feel like they need a professional to come in to work out the kinks, such as a Gordon Ramsay of the gymnastics world. read more

I signed my autistic daughter up for cheerleading classes online. Took her to the first class, and it was clear it wasn't going to work, and Josh agreed; which is fine. I was told to call the next day for a refund. I have called 100, this was 7wks ago. Finally 2 weeks ago a young lady called to tell me that the manager would call me the next day to resolve the issue. 10 more messages have not been returned. That $140 was to help keep my daughter busy this summer, I cannot enroll her in another program until I get that money back. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone, and would love to hear about my refund before the end of the summer, and before I have to get legal representation involved. read more

This place is HOT! It was 110 outside today and humid. You would think that it would be air conditioned inside? Children are running around and jumping!!! Definitely don't reccomend this place for a birthday party or in general. We need fun places for our kid's in the desert that have AC.....This is definitely not one of them! read more

Just started at this place with my kids. Coaches are great--positive motivators who push students to reach full potential. Classes are fast moving and don't allow lag time. Great coach to student ratio. Only reason they didnt get full stars--no air conditioning! It is a huge facility (positive), but there are only fans to cool the place (negative). It gets very stuffy. This probably allows them to keep their overhead down, which them to offer reasonable rates. read more

PowerKids Center is a nice gymnastic training facility. We take our young ones here for classes which teach the basics of body movement, balance and a few techniques. There are also advanced and intermediate classes through all ages. The staff is friendly. The location is tricky to find the first time as you can spot it from Washington, but when you get into the business area it disappears. read more

My daughter attends powerkids and I love it it's awesome I even recommend it to all my friends. However my low ratings is due to the fact that I had my daughter a party and I didn't like that I was rushed out we couldn't even finish eating cake before they grabbed the presents and started to load them in the vehicle and grab the food to put it away. They rushed us out due to the fact open gym was gonna start at 6 and stated that people arrive at 5:30. I was in the parking lot until 6:00 talking to a family member and not one person had showed up for open gym. And what really set me off was I offered the coaches food and one accepted and make a rude comment saying the least you could do is feed me. Last time I check you are getting paid to be here and I don't have to feed you. Just really upsetting. That will be the first and last party I have there read more

I previously gave them 3 stars because of the unbearable heat in the gym where the kids do their gymnastics but it appears they have made some fixes because it is MUCH more comfortable in there now. Staff continues to be great and they work very well with the kids. I definitely recommend Power Kids! read more

I know I've given a few higher star rankings on yelp but this one is the most deserved. This place is the best gymnastics facility I've ever been to. The staff has the best intentions for every kid involved in their diverse offerings of classes. From the developmental classes to the team you can see the passion for the sport in each coach. They have the most effective way of getting my child & all others engaged and wanting to come back to class again and again. I've never met such kind hearted talented coaches before. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get their child involved in something that helps them grow & have fun doing it!! I wish I had the level of coaching this facility offers when I was a gymnast I know I would of been an Olympian :) read more

I had my twin boys 7th birthday party here. It was a fun party for the kids and parents! The coaches had awesome games they played with the kids and did a great job interacting with the kids. Everybody still talks about that party. After having a poor experience with a gymnastics party for my daughter at a different gym in Redlands, I wish I had made the drive to Powerkids instead. read more
