They would contact me when parts were in (April 2021). Fast forward 18 months later and still no call from the Wrong Buick in Wexford Pa and a new safety recall card arrived. Called Wrong dealer again and was rudely told we told you we will call you, parts on national backorder. So, I called 1-800 Buick and they hooked me up with North Star who stated they would also call when parts were in. North Star called 2 days later and car was in 3 days after that and repaired. The bumper was duct taped on to prevent it from falling off, and our inspection was due this month. The trucking company has been ignoring all attempts to reach them. I was told to swing by the day before to talk to Justin, the service foreman, to determine if anything can be done as a stopgap until repairs can be made. Justin came up with a game plan, but he knew he'd be off the when I brought the car in, so he talked to Robert and some other guys who were on that day about the game plan. They agreed that bolting the bumper to the frame would keep it secure and follow inspection requirements. When I showed up to get the work done, Noah was looped into the plan, and the 3 of those guys literally saved my sanity and ability for my daughter and me to get to work while our insurance company now battles with the trucking company. Robert was the guy who made the repair that allowed them to proceed with the inspection. After 11 days of getting ignored and being given the run around by Western Express trucking, I seriously could have hugged all 3 of them and when they lent a hand. My husband and I have always had excellent service from your dealership, but these 3 men went above and beyond yesterday at a time of great need, and I can't thank them enough.

Won't answer calls made by landline, cellphone, their own online chat window or email, all tried on the same weekday during regular open hours. ZERO RESPONSE to a serious safety issue. This is why I left Brewer services years ago, but the new faces and names are using the same policies and toolbox as the old ones. I'm sorry I gave them another chance. If they ever contact me, I'll update with what they were willing to do or make it right. If they can convince me of some integrity I might even delete the review. Edit: they eventually did call back. My wife took the car in to address the safety issues they failed to either own or remedy. Within 1 mile of leaving the service department, my wife driving noticed the hood of the car undulating at 40mph. She pulled over and discovered the hood only secondary latched and not closed all the way. After calling to report this, their rep called u and said "they were never under the hood" so if you you want a picture of what dealing with them will look like, this is it. I'm done with them.

He is nice, friendly, and helpful and quite the character! I always look forward to picking up my car and getting to chat. (We've also had great experiences with the guy with a ponytail, whose name escapes me.) We take our cars here regularly for oil changes and inspections and for anything else that might arise. The only thing we've asked for that they couldn't do was switch out winter/summer tires, because they don't have the right lift (or something, idk.) We have had many mechanics try to upcharge, overcharge, or cheat us because they assume we don't know a lot about cars. Lester's is not that way at all. They will not do work they don't think needs to be done and will go out of their way to save you work and money. When they actually do need to do work Lester will walk you through step-by-step what was wrong with the old part and why and how it was fixed. Once I took my car in to have the A/C looked at because it had been making a growling noise the summer before and it was just starting to get hot again. Lester said he and all of his guys drove it around a little bit and couldn't get it to make any noise so they weren't going to charge me anything. He then proceeded to say if I ever heard it again I should just drive by and yell for him to come out and look at it-even if I didn't have an appointment. They also knew of a neighbor with the same make and model as me who had a harmless noise with their A/C and while they were there they kept looking out the window to see if he came home so they could show me. I mean, that's above and beyond! I would highly recommend Lester's to anyone-and I have!

Being a busy business, my car was moved further back in the locked area and was making friends with a lot of other totaled vehicles. Thankfully, an employee offered to assist me in emptying out my car. My driver's door barely opened. The driver side rear door was too close to next vehicle to open. The passenger side was up against a fence. I don't know how the burly man squeezed between the vehicles, opened the trunk, & passed everything to me. Scott is a brilliant troubleshooter and takes the time to make sure everything is fixed completely the first time. He is transparent, fair, humble, and kind. The reviews about fixing the light bulb and the rubbing sound are very familiar. One day I lost an exhaust holder. He gave me metal coat hangers to rig it until I had time to fix it properly even though he was extraordinarily busy. I took my used sedan to this garage, as they helped me with my brakes before on another vehicle. The work done by them seemed to be rather good, so I went back again. Well, this will change. My used vehicle was pulling to one side, and making a creaking noise. I trusted them. Within 10 minutes, they had said my rack and pinion was "shot". And that I should leave it there because it is unsafe to drive. Well, I trusted them, and called up my warranty company. That day, i was told for a new rack and pinion, struts, and for them to fix the "entire front end" would be $2100. 2 days pass and my warranty company called me after they sent a mechanic to go look at this "issue". They would only cover $1,400 of it. I was then called by the garage, and Jim said "Do you have another $2,800?" I said absolutely not. He was rambling off random parts that were "needed". My mother was extremely upset that they were bullying me into forking out my entire downpayment on the vehicle. We took it right over the hill to another shop, and within 15 minutes of it being test driven by the owner, and his employees putting it up on the lift plus SHOWING me the exact parts moving when they shouldn't, the "rack and pinion" was actually an outer tie rod worn and also a bushing gone on the lower control arm. The rack and pinion was still like new, and was SAFE to drive, unlike what they said. My new $300 bill is better than the $3,800 one they tried to sell me. Plus, I had to fork over $150 after they illegally extorted my to get my key back. Absolutely insane, and I would like my $1550 back because NO garage charges a quote and diagnosis fee.
