In October, 2022, we purchased 4 Michelin tires from Fleming's in Mars, PA. Within 4 months, one of them started to leak air. We put air in it ourselves a few times, but soon another one started to leak so we took the car back to Fleming's. We were told that the bead was leaking because chrome was flaking; they said this is very common with chrome rims. Also, a valve stem was leaking. They should have addressed the chrome issue when we bought the tires as well as replacing 4 valves. In addition, they never mentioned that the TPMS modules (tire pressure management system) needed to be replaced. We took the car to another tire store, and they did what Fleming's should have done in 2022. However, it cost us $487.52! Side note: even though we have always made appointments at Fleming's, they keep the car all day. The new store did the work in an hour! read more

I needed new tires as mine were completely bald. I called Flemming Tire shop based on them having amazing reviews, and i totally see how they earned them! I called on a Monday and was told my tires would be in Thursday of that same week, that was amazing news as it's been snowing and i needed to be safe. Well Tuesday rolled around and they called me to say the tires were in!!! I was just like wow already!?! I dropped my car off Wednesday morning and picked it up after work that same day. In and out! 10/9/21 I took 4 tires to be mounted on my steel Rims. After paying $130 for the service,the tire technician was sitting on my tires,he informed me my tire rims were bent. I said they were not bent when I brought them in for installation. Needless to say,I was very upset and rather than get into a brawl and end up in jail. I left. I called the service manager who also said I brought them bent rims. First of all why would I be putting new tires on bent rims and if technician noted this,why was I not notified at the time of installation. Fleming Tire in Mars,Pa is a family owned business since 1955, I doubt the owner would not appreciate this response to a legitimate problem. read more

This place is the absolute worst. The owner is a maniac. We took our van in to get a state inspection and they wouldn't pass it because of a burned out fog light. They asked me if I wanted them to replace it and when I asked how much it would cost, they said $57! I told them, no, I would rather replace the $17 light bulb myself, which I did in their parking lot and it took me 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the light bulb still did not work so we had to schedule the dealership to fix it. I asked him if they could give us the sticker knowing we had an appointment scheduled to repair the light and knowing the common sense fact that this was in no way a safety issue. The owner got belligerent and starting rambling something about the state police pulling us over when we left their lot. At any rate, the more calm, sane guy working the counter said we could bring the van back and they would give us a sticker once they saw that the light was working. So fast forward one week (the earliest we could get an appointment at the dealer) and we brought the van in the very next day. The guy had told my wife over the phone that we now had to schedule an appointment and it would take 45 minutes to reinspect the entire vehicle. When I went in I politely asked them if they could follow through with what they originally said and just visually inspect the light and give us our sticker. Well, this is when the owner lost his mind. He started yelling at me so loudly my wife said she could hear him down the hallway. He then started cussing at me in front of other customers. I was calm the entire time and told him to stop yelling and cursing in front of my wife and other customers. He jumped up out of his seat and took an aggressive stance like he was going to possibly get violent. This guy is clearly unhinged. He is very overweight and looks like he hasn't shaved or taken care of personal hygiene in a long time. This lunatic shouldn't be interacting with customers if he lacks self control, which he demonstrated amply. I guess if you can't control one aspect of your life (eating), it usually spills over into other aspects of your life. I was embarrassed and saddened by the employee that quickly stood up and walked out of the room when this lunatic started cursing at me. I would avoid this poorly run business at all costs. read more

This is the best tire shop I've ever been to. They are one of the few shops who have a tire truer (tire shaving machine to correct out of round tires) and craftsmen who know how to use it. They let me sit in the shop where they have bar stools (no beer though, sorry) and watch as they trued the tires on my 65 F100. I worked in a shop years ago and the owner was adamant about not letting customers into the shop area so their courteous nature was surprising to me. The mechanics did top notch work - wire brushing the wheel beads, lugs and drum face. Their tire machines were top of the line as well. These guys are the real deal. They're a 50 minute drive for me but definitely worth it. read more

Fleming Tire and Auto Service has been my go-to place for all and any car repairs, PA inspections and check-ups for any safety situations that may arise on my two Honda cars.  I have complete confidence in the ownership and all the mechanics who work there. I brought my Outback to Fleming for rear brakes. The mechanic (identified as Tech 1 on the invoice) performed a complimentary battery test. I did not request the battery test, since I was not experiencing any problems. Mike called to tell me the battery did not meet the minimum requirements and will fail very soon. Fleming's report rated my battery at "490 CCA, measuring 10 CCA with maximum risk." Mike recommended immediate replacement. I told Mike I was not experiencing any problems with starting my car and declined his advise. When I picked up my car, two employees at the front desk again tried to persuade me to buy a new battery. Again I declined. The next day I brought my car to the Subaru dealer for a second opinion. The mechanic popped the hood and showed me the 550 rating clearly visible on the label. The test result was 507 CCA indicating the battery is functioning properly. Buyer beware when it comes to Fleming's complimentary service! read more

Really great service and priced appropriately. This is Tire Rack's top rated closest location to me and I was really impressed with their service. I've had numerous sets of tires installed including 3 sports cars that have complex setups (19x12, 305 series tires, etc) and a few SUVs (2 with 22" wheels), always flawless and perfect. We also now get our inspections and some service done here when out of warranty. read more

Up until this point, very good service. But that all changed when we had an issue with two of the four tires we purchased. We purchased four new tires from Fleming in Sept 2013, these new tires only had 25K miles on them (and were rotated every 3K-5K) when we started noticing issues. Took the vehicle to Costco as the two rear tires were continually losing air. Upon careful examination Costco determined that both of the tires had ripped beads. Costco noted that this was most likely due to an install issue. Contacted Fleming Tire and Auto and provided them with pictures and written documentation from Costco on the issue. Jen noted that this happens all the time, that it's normal. In all the years my wife and I have owned a car this has never happened. Speaking with friends and colleagues, this hasn't happened to them either. According to the two managers at Costco this sort of thing can happen but it's rare and especially should NOT happen on 3 year old tires with 25K on them. Jen couldn't even entertain the idea that this was on them and actually noted that it was Costo who caused the damage. Every excuse Jen could possibly think of she used, all to deflect responsibility away from themselves. We brought the tires into Costco because of this problem, the sides on both tires had the rubber worn down and you could see the metal bead - there is no way Costco caused this issue! I would honestly never use Fleming Tire for anything ever again and strongly recommend you don't use them either. read more
