My friend referred me to Robert's and after reading their positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to take my vehicle into their station. Let me first mention that I chose Robert's: a) they are a SMOG TEST ONLY station b) they are a Pass or don't pay c) their website and Yelp page offer a $10 OFF savings coupon! How cool is that?! I went into Robert's as a "walk-in" and was told by the mechanic, Isaac, that my wait would be about 20mins. I was asked a minute later to pull my car in for testing, it passed and I was out the door within 10 minutes! Roberts exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with their friendliness, professionalism and speed of service. Thank you Isaac! read more

I looked up this place at the last minute based on the good reviews on Yelp I decided to take my Honda Civic to get smogged here. Isaac greeted me as I was parking and just directed me to park it in the bay, he was friendly, honest and courteous. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, I think it took me longer to drive into the bay then what it took him to perform the test. He charged me $40 for the test, I had a good experience I would go back again. read more

Shame.... This place might be really good but I'll never know because they absolutely failed to leave a good first impression. I read all the great reviews and figured this was the place. I tried calling the number listed on Groupon. No answer. I looked them up here on Yelp. Tried calling the number listed. Nothing. I figured they were just busy. So I tried both numbers again. Nothing. I waited a 3rd time. Tried both numbers again. Nothing. It was around lunch time so I figured I'd just run over there and at the very least make an appointment or try to get seen. They had a sign on their door that said closed until 6-26-19. It's July 12th..... They tell me they are closed since their internet is down and MAYBE by Monday. Ok.... Well if you're closed maybe you should pull the Groupon and at bare minimum answer your phone. Horrible first impression. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Cancelled the Groupon. read more

These guys are quick, efficient straight shooter guys. I was in and out in 15 minutes and they were pleasant working with. The location isn't easy to find but the price and ease was well worth it. Additionally, they don't charge you for a smog if it doesn't pass. read more

I called around to price compare and Jesse came in at the lowest price with no payment if my truck did not pass the smog test. I drove up to the bay and met Jesse, who was pleasant and easy to talk too. He took my truck in immediately and got started and was done in about 15 minutes. I paid and took my smog test and went on my way. Excellent service on the phone, in person, and was careful and respectful of my vehicle. I will definitely highly recommend to my friends, neighbors and family! read more

I have to give Robert's Smog Check a great review - especially since I just came back from here and my 1995 Mercedes just passed smog. I've been going here for a few years now and I've always gotten exceptional service from Robert, who is fast, friendly and gives great service. This place is the best smog place that I've been to. If you don't pass it's free, which wasn't my deal because it passed but a nice feature none the less. Staff was great, spent very little time waiting, prices were cheaper than other places I've been, all in all, an easy 5 stars. read more

I agree with all of the other positive reviews. Great service! Our Cadillac failed smog several times, but Robert's got it to pass. We had wasted our money at other smog places before coming to Robert's. Now it is the ONLY smog place we use. read more

This smog station could be one of Temecula's best kept secrets. I have been going to this smog station for all of my vehicles for quite sometime now. My daughter who is in the military also takes her vehicle here. The test area and the lobby for customers to sit is very clean. I was a little nervous about it being off of the beaten path but the staff is very friendly, courteous and professional. The gentleman that helped me explained exactly what I should expect how much it costs and what would happen if my vehicle did not pass. He listened to what I needed and then he just took care of it. He was efficient. I was in and out of there in no time. This is a great place to do business. read more

Wow! Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I just happened to find these guys with the map on my phone. After calling the closest place to my location, I was quoted a higher price and told I'd have to drop off my car and pick it up in a few hours. That's out! So, I called Isaac over at Robert's and was told to come in now with no wait. Sure enough, I showed up a few minutes later and there he was, ready for my car. In and out fast with friendly service. I didn't catch her name but the gal that took payment had a great smile and genuinely seemed happy to be providing customer service. They just earned all of my future smog checks! read more

Best smog station around! I needed a smog while my husband was at work and I seen this place had some great reviews so I decided to try it and I could never be more satisfied with the service! Isaac the smog tech is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, and I was out within 15 minutes! I also received the best service for the lowest cost I've ever paid for a smog! I was out of there in about 10 minutes (keeping in mind I was there around 10:30 on a Wednesday and I was the only customer). Brenden ( I think that was his name) was excellent. I probably could have saved a few bucks going somewhere else , but this place was easy to find, close by and fast. Will come back here for sure when my other car needs to be checked. read more

Authentic guy who won't gyp you! He had great conversation and is a happy guy. I'm never going back to big company smog places ever! He won't tamper with your stuff to get you to fail. I am so frustrated with Roberts smog! When we have used Roberts smog in the past, the guys there have been great however the inconsistency with their hours makes me never want to use them again. My husband called them yesterday and asked when he could come in and they told him, anytime after 3:30 and before 5. He showed up at 4:30 (30 minutes before close) and they had a sign on the door saying they were closed and would return tomorrow from 9-4. My husband and I were frustrated that we drove all the way across town and even after talking with them early that day and being reassured they would be open, they were not. We decided to brush it off and come back the next day which was today, Saturday February 6th and we got there mid day, around 12:20 and they had a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day and would be back Monday. I couldn't believe it, again another wasted trip across town. We ended up using someone else and plan on using them from now on because we can actually rely on them and their hours. I hate to give a bad review because like I said, the guys that work here overall are very nice but this is just horrible business practice. You can not rely on Roberts smog to be open during their listed business hours, and you can not trust them even when you speak to someone over the phone to tell you the truth about their hours because they don't care about your business, they just want to leave. They will close early and you will waste your time and gas driving over there. Never again. read more

Just a heads up, but this place has closed or moved…read more Unfortunately for me, they messed up my mom's wheelchair van when they installed the new transmission. I only found out how bad of a job they did once I took the van to a mobility dealer for routine maintenance. They had to drop the subframe to install the transmission, and when they put the subframe back on they overtorqued the bolts and incorrectly installed the spacers. So now I have to have a body shop re-weld new nuts onto the subframe, costing me thousands of dollars. So, if they are magically still around, I would love to know!

If you need a smog Robert's Test Only is the place to go. They helped me out tremendously even when I didn't pass the test the first couple of times. They didn't charge me a penny until I passed the smog and they definitely went above and beyond to hook me up.
