There was no line and they completed the smog test on my truck immediately after I filled out the smog test form. Today I expected to get my truck smog checked by a company that I have taken multiple cars to but today because I questioned "the process" I was denied service. So never mind that I'm a repeat customer to this business, the owner or who ever the guy was that I talked to about charging a customers regardless of passing. Had the worst experience with this guy. He for sure is not a dealer and continued to lie about selling a car at his smog shop saying he is a dealer and needs state taxes and I NEEDED to register the car at his shop. He had a bmw priced at 4500 and continued to lie about the additional taxes and registration fees. Just overall bad experience and horrible customer service. Used multiple times over the years. One time I had a check engine light on and was going through the wringer to get the car repaired so that it would pass smog. Friendly owner/technician assisted me in testing and checking on return trips before charging me additional fees to run the smog each time. Note that I did pay for two smog checks in this process but before trying the second time he did an obd scan to be sure it would pass the next check. read more

I had an extremely positive experience with Dorsa's smog. I got in right away, they were very friendly and transparent about their services and pricing. Unfortunately, the car failed it's smog but they offered a very easy and free repair solution. It worked! I had to pay to be resmogged later than day after the repair but we passed! They took care of my registration in the shop for an extra $25 so I didn't need to take the time to head over to the dmv for the tags. They even updated my address for me. We had waited till the last day to get the Registration done. Without Dorsa's it definitely wouldn't have gotten done on time. read more

Went to transfer the title on my car, that I just bought. the man that greeted me (The owner) was very pushy he continued to haggle me to sell him my car. he was very adamant about buying my vehicle, even though I already told him I was not interested. I just bought it!!! very uncomfortable situation. The lady that processed my title transfer paperwork also had issues, even though I had the title, smog certificate, registration. all I needed was to transfer ownership. doesn't seem like they know what they're doing over there. would not recommend. she said some code was preventing her from processing my paperwork.... well I went to another smog shop down the road that does title transfers and they were able to do it all no problem!! read more

I took my 2010 Nissan Sentra in for a smog check and Maria was very kind. She explained the process and why they charge what they do to complete the check. Went to get a smog test today at this location as they were very reasonably priced. My car did not pass smog inspection because apparently when you get a new battery your car has to "reset itself "and sometimes that can take ,to quote the Honda dealership ,up to thousands of miles?! So when Dorsa's told me this I called the Honda dealership just to make sure that they are correct. Honda did confirm and Honda told me to drive the car at 55 miles an hour to help the car,reset itself which Dorsa's did also tell me that too. Dorsa's also made me aware that if the car did not pass I still had to pay for the smog inspection, fine. Here is my problem with that, when Dorsa's told me my car failed they said to just go drive my car at 55 miles an hour for 30 miles and come back. I said are you going to charge me again me when I come back today and they said yes and pointed out to me that they charge for failed inspections so the one star is for the service, zero stars for customer "Goodwill".The other issue I have is on one piece of paper they wrote that I had to drive the car for 60 miles ,another piece of paper in highlighter they wrote I only had to drive the car 30 miles, So which is it? And then if it fails again I just have to keep paying $24.75 until it passes? After explaining to Honda what my experience was with Dorsa's, Honda graciously said to go ahead and drive the car as instructed and to come by the dealership and they will happily use their computer as a pre-test to make sure it passes a smog check. Honda also said that Dorsa's should be able to do this easily enough but since they won't Honda said they would do it as many times as it takes for free! I know I will probably have to get an extension for my car registration until the car passes. Needless to say I will not be returning to Dorsa's they are the cheapest but now they've just become the most expensive. I will attach photos of the discrepancy and directions. I would understand if my car had other issues for not passing and needed to go into the shop to fix and then had to pay the $24.75 again but to just go drive my car for 30 miles and turn around and come back to Dorsa's the same day and they still want to charge me another $24.75? I would call this place Dorsa's rip off smog service! So it wouldn't hurt if they ask customers prior to the smog test if they had recently had a battery change and let them know that because of the battery change it may not pass unless they've driven the car as directed but I guess they don't wanna do that because they want to charge you again when your car doesn't pass for a simple fix. When I said that other smog stations don't charge if it doesn't pass the mail technician said that smog stations don't do that anymore well that's just not true I contacted the smog station and told them my experience with horses and they told me they don't charge if you don't pass! read more
