One of our cars finally hit the time now requiring a smog check on top of the annual CA-Auto Registration as requirements before obtaining the license plate decal. Dorsa is located right across from the DMV Temecula. Stopped by this afternoon for a quick check. The interior was clean and the A/C was cooling the area nicely. The staff was friendly. Fast and efficient, only took no more than 20 minutes from start to finish. Also a plus for Yelpers; discounted pricing for smog check services. Note, Dorsa will charge whether pass or fail. I will stop by again in the future. read more

Highly recommend bringing your car here for a smog check. They were also able to register my new car on the spot. I was in and out in just a few hours. Even though they're located next to the DMV, I didn't want to spend all day there and parking for the dmv is a nightmare. I'll definitely be back with my other cars. read more

Super quick, professional and kind. She answered all of our questions and took care of our title and registration for our used car we bought. Better than going across the street to the Temecula DMV and sitting for 3 hours. Her fee is $45. I'd rather pay that than deal with the DMV. My time is worth more. Thank you Dorsa! read more

No good. First he say car will pass smog... then he smog and say no pass to collect fee. Go next door if you want a reliable smog shop. This no good good business amigo. Bad read more

Went well, they are really fast and got the job done. I have smogged 2 vehicles here and both were done within 15 mins.

Dorsa's Smog Test is located directly across the street from the DMV. The DMV stated that I need to get a smog test so I did, at Dorsa's. There was no line and they completed the smog test on my truck immediately after I filled out the smog test form. If you go to the DMV here in Temecula and are required to take a smog test for your vehicle, I highly recommend this place for fast and affordable service. read more

Every time that I've gone to Dorsa's I am greeted with a professional, positive, and helpful demeanor. Dorsa's offers a military discount on smog tests. I'm always in and out of there in a timely manner with all of my questions answered. I believe Dorsa's husband works there too, and he is professional, helpful, and very friendly. Both Dorsa and her husband provide service with a smile. I like to honor this small business with my continued support with both of my car registrations. If people are disappointed with this establishment the only thing I could imagine is that their car didn't pass smog and they are taking out their frustration on yelp, because I think this place is honest and 5 star based on my experience. And believe me, I am very selective! read more

I highly recommend this place for smog and car transfer. I went there and my name got spelled wrong. I had to go back . The gentleman there I believe he is the owner went far and beyond the normal to help me .My husband has just passed away and for 47 years that we were married he took care of our cars. Now I'm having to do it on my own. This gentleman helped me and I'm glad there are people in this world that still help. I can't tell him enough how I appreciate what he did. Thank you again. The price I paid sure beats having to stand in line at the dmv. read more

Super impressed, standing in the heat with a line wrapped around the DMV building I noticed Dorsa'a advertisement, called talked with Bob the owner. The women behind me overheard my conversation and highly recommend them! We purchased our Motorhome in Arizona, still need to pay extra Ca tax, and register. We were able to do it all and walked away with our plates and tags!!! I highly recommend The process was EASY! read more

Today I expected to get my truck smog checked by a company that I have taken multiple cars to but today because I questioned "the process" I was denied service. So never mind that I'm a repeat customer to this business, the owner or who ever the guy was that I talked to about charging a customers regardless of passing. Customers are not paying for the test we're paying for the certificate and that was my point. The process whether it is a new car or old car is the same. But regardless I will not be taking another car to this business ever again. What a poor attitude to have just because your "repeat customer" asked a question about "the process" read more

This place and the people are a piece of shitt. I went in wanting a smog check on my car and instead the guy wanted to sell me cars and then charged me for failing for some stupid shitt. This is the one and only place I've ever heard about that charges you for failing a smog check! read more

I had a great experience here today. The owner was a really nice guy, super efficient and fast. Every time I come here, it's a nice experience. Thank you, and definitely check this place out if you need a smog check! read more

What a joke is this establishment. I called to inquire about a smoke on my old Ford truck. I spoke to a guy whom was unwilling to answer basic question. He was irritated to answer and guide me to get a smog check. Does this establishment only interested in smogging brand new cars? Scree you man. I went to your neighbor. Can't wait to see your lame response. Truck on. read more

Had the worst experience with this guy. He for sure is not a dealer and continued to lie about selling a car at his smog shop saying he is a dealer and needs state taxes and I NEEDED to register the car at his shop. He had a bmw priced at 4500 and continued to lie about the additional taxes and registration fees. Just overall bad experience and horrible customer service. I wouldn't trust the business this guy runs. read more

Unfortunately, my experience at dorsa's smog test was marred by the owner's aggressive and impolite behavior. He try to fight with me for no reason It's disappointing when a business doesn't uphold basic standards of professionalism. U have to be careful to deal with this kind of people read more

Used multiple times over the years. One time I had a check engine light on and was going through the wringer to get the car repaired so that it would pass smog. Friendly owner/technician assisted me in testing and checking on return trips before charging me additional fees to run the smog each time. Note that I did pay for two smog checks in this process but before trying the second time he did an obd scan to be sure it would pass the next check. read more

This option is so much better than going to the DMV! The staff here is super helpful and very professional. I was able to get my smog checked and registration complete here. I also forgot my passport and they called me to come pick it up. A+ outstanding service! I will return! read more

Great deal with the coupon. Easy to make an appointment online and quick abd friendly service

The WORST smog testing place ever! this guy didn't even test my car, said I failed and still charged me Full price. Went to another station, KWIC off Ynez road and help me out and was amazing. He even told me I was ripped off. My advice to you, stay away from this horrible, crooked scam of a business. Highly recommend KWIC Smog Center! They will take great care of you. read more

I had an extremely positive experience with Dorsa's smog. I got in right away, they were very friendly and transparent about their services and pricing. Unfortunately, the car failed it's smog but they offered a very easy and free repair solution. It worked! I had to pay to be resmogged later than day after the repair but we passed! They took care of my registration in the shop for an extra $25 so I didn't need to take the time to head over to the dmv for the tags. They even updated my address for me. We had waited till the last day to get the Registration done. Without Dorsa's it definitely wouldn't have gotten done on time. read more

Great place !! Super friendly and efficient. Much rather go here and pay a small fee than go to the DMV and wait all day.

Came i today to do a smog as I am selling my vehicle. They did a pre test to make sure it would pass for free as I had work done recently on the car. It passed!! Bob was very helpful and his price can't be beat!! $33 for a smog and certificate and he also sent it to dmv. I would come back here always! read more

Went to transfer the title on my car, that I just bought. the man that greeted me (The owner) was very pushy he continued to haggle me to sell him my car. he was very adamant about buying my vehicle, even though I already told him I was not interested. I just bought it!!! very uncomfortable situation. The lady that processed my title transfer paperwork also had issues, even though I had the title, smog certificate, registration. all I needed was to transfer ownership. doesn't seem like they know what they're doing over there. would not recommend. she said some code was preventing her from processing my paperwork.... well I went to another smog shop down the road that does title transfers and they were able to do it all no problem!! read more

This place is a rip off. The lady that works there doesn't know what she is doing but she doesn't know how to overcharge on DMV fees. I pod the $45 for registration services and the. She wanted to charge $51more for other fees and ended up going to the dmv and paid $18. She quote me $61 for smog the. When I went back it went up to $86. Went to kwic smog in Temecula and paid $48. Stay away from this scammers. read more

I took my 2010 Nissan Sentra in for a smog check and Maria was very kind. She explained the process and why they charge what they do to complete the check. Her mechanic was professional and completed the check in about 20 minutes. The place was very clean and even offers free bottled water while you wait. I would highly recommend Maria and her team to complete your smog check when needed. The place is in a great location that is easy to find next to the DMV. read more

Awesome service from Bob and Maria I was in and out in 20 minutes they were both very helpful will return for future smog checks!

Went to get a smog test today at this location as they were very reasonably priced. My car did not pass smog inspection because apparently when you get a new battery your car has to "reset itself "and sometimes that can take ,to quote the Honda dealership ,up to thousands of miles?! So when Dorsa's told me this I called the Honda dealership just to make sure that they are correct. Honda did confirm and Honda told me to drive the car at 55 miles an hour to help the car, reset itself which Dorsa's did also tell me that too. Dorsa's also made me aware that if the car did not pass I still had to pay for the smog inspection, fine. Here is my problem with that, when Dorsa's told me my car failed they said to just go drive my car at 55 miles an hour for 30 miles and come back. I said are you going to charge me again me when I come back today and they said yes and pointed out to me that they charge for failed inspections so the one star is for the service, zero stars for customer "Goodwill".The other issue I have is on one piece of paper they wrote that I had to drive the car for 60 miles ,another piece of paper in highlighter they wrote I only had to drive the car 30 miles, So which is it? And then if it fails again I just have to keep paying $24.75 until it passes? After explaining to Honda what my experience was with Dorsa's, Honda graciously said to go ahead and drive the car as instructed and to come by the dealership and they will happily use their computer as a pre-test to make sure it passes a smog check. Honda also said that Dorsa's should be able to do this easily enough but since they won't Honda said they would do it as many times as it takes for free! I know I will probably have to get an extension for my car registration until the car passes. Needless to say I will not be returning to Dorsa's they are the cheapest but now they've just become the most expensive. I will attach photos of the discrepancy and directions. I would understand if my car had other issues for not passing and needed to go into the shop to fix and then had to pay the $24.75 again but to just go drive my car for 30 miles and turn around and come back to Dorsa's the same day and they still want to charge me another $24.75? I would call this place Dorsa's rip off smog service! So it wouldn't hurt if they ask customers prior to the smog test if they had recently had a battery change and let them know that because of the battery change it may not pass unless they've driven the car as directed but I guess they don't wanna do that because they want to charge you again when your car doesn't pass for a simple fix. When I said that other smog stations don't charge if it doesn't pass the mail technician said that smog stations don't do that anymore well that's just not true I contacted the smog station and told them my experience with horses and they told me they don't charge if you don't pass! read more

Just had a great experience at Dorsa' Smog. I know that service and fees vary at different smog stations, so I did my research. I sent out my request for information and received a reply within 10 minutes. The quote for a smog test and certificate was so reasonable that I selected Dorsa's. They set appointment immediately and were able to see me within 1/2 hour. When I arrived the owner was there to greet me with a huge smile and a handshake. They took my car right in and I was out of there in fifteen minutes! Plus they honored the quote without any problem. Will definitely return and recommend them to family and friends. read more
