For the past few years, I have always ended up at this store for one thing or another. This past summer, my daughter and I went to this store to hunt for anything that can make a human happy. First, we looked at decorations for the home. They had such cute stuff! Cacti related goods bolstered by perky unicorns. Motivational pictures to inspire all of us. Even lamps to illuminate those dark corners that we all have. We moved on to drinkware. Ronni picked out a green glass cactus, of course. It came with a screw on cap that had colorful cacti on top. Like a Mason jar. Festive and functional. There was an aisle devoted to discounted items. Allow for extra time for that when visiting this dollar store. We browsed. We rejected. We continued on. Ronni picked out her first "Imposter" fragrance. It can double as insect repellant. She got a small Nivea lotion collectible tin. She also picked out a rubber ball with a face. This ball can upchuck slime from his mouth when squeezed. Life is complete with one of those. nd- the makeup. We spent time looking at the different shades, fascinated by cobalt eyeliner and sunset purple eyeshadow. Guess what? The cheapest brand there is beautiful, but deadly. I Googled the brand and found out that people had unusual reactions to it. We passed. (wet n wild is safe, but was not at this dollar store.) We then moved on to an absolute must- candy. I almost lost my mind. I chose Cookie Dough Bites, and they were amazing. Ronni got two boxes of candy because kids rule when it is their special time. This place is affordable and fun. You can lose yourself and forget your problems. Wait- I have a family?! This is a Family Dollar store? Sorry- I was so busy looking at the sloth slippers that I forgot!

The moment she saw us, she called over the radio loud enough for us to hear, that she was going on break for 15 mins. It was BLATANT why she did it. It's because she did not want to ring us up. Even though it was quite busy inside on 12/17/2025 around 2:30-3ish, I'm so thankful I was able to get Onyx's help. For the first time ever, I was able to participate in the "Bring 5 Back" program and get a free fresh face mask in return. I didn't know how to partake in the program and was honestly a little nervous about it. I had washed my pots out and made them super clean, but I just don't like walking into places like I own them--it's a respect thing for me. I wouldn't walk into someone's home uninvited, and this is their place of work. Onyx was really quick to walk me through the process and made it so easy. The exchange was wonderful, and she was so understanding with me as someone new to the program. Onyx helped me not only figure out what would suit my skin type but also guided me through choosing the perfect one. I'd never tried a fresh face mask before, and she helped me select Coconut Shie. It smells absolutely divine and makes my skin super soft! I came home and couldn't wait--I had to use it before even hopping in the shower. I was mad, wife was mad and the boy was in tears. I took him outside to calm down and told him we need to go back in and apologize to the workers. When we went back in the woman who I believe to be the manager greeted us again and asked if he was okay before he could say anything. She even kept his attention and let us finish gathering candles and other bits. She said she was a grandmother herself! But the staff here is what any company strives for, if there were more workers like her then review apps would not be needed. Hands down best service I have had anywhere in years.

I received from the Route 70 Cherry Hill location in NJ, a dead bouquet of mix Carnations and a few white wilted and brown roses. The baby breath was dark brown like it was burned in an oven. I mean really Babys breath looks good all the time, so how really could it be brown. The chocolate strawberries were old too. The green stems were turning brown and looked all wilted and the part of the strawberries not hidden by chocolate were slimy and did not look fresh. The best thing about the presentation was the bag it came in. Most of the already small bouquet got thrown away and half of the strawberries. I told him about it and he was shocked because the ones his wife got from a MD location were beautiful red roses and fresh delicious strawberries but I do not know why the location on Rt 70 Cherry Hill NJ was so disgusting. It looked like they put it together with their garbage, literally. Very disappointing and I would not recommend at all!

I can't believe they let this arrangement leave their store looking like this! Or if it was messed up in transport, you'd think their delivery drivers would handle better. A beautiful gesture from my husband but a crappy (AND EXPENSIVE) edible arrangement. UPDATED REVIEW: My husband submitted a complaint through email and the store manager called him the next day (today) and rectified the situation. He sent not only a replacement edible arrangement with the correct number of balloons but a Valentine's Day bouquet free of charge as well! This set was IMPECCABLY done. Like literally perfect! I appreciate them addressing and fixing their mistake so updating the review accordingly.
