As a guy I wouldn't…read morenormally think of buying a candle, but to buy a candle that looks like my favorite beer, exotic drink, or shot, now that's a different story. These candles look so much like a real drink that I've actually received strange reactions from friends, colleagues, and clients who mistakenly thought I had a real alcoholic drink on my desk. Then I burned them and in no time my office smelled amazing, and they burned forever. I've even given some of the "normal" container candles they make as gifts for family and friends and they all loved the strong yet pleasant aromas they give off. Hands down, you can't beat the quality of these products, the fact that they are eco-frinedly, the quick turnaround time on their order fulfillment, and the price is much better than the big name boutique store prices. The best part of all is this company supports local and national charities, so I'm happy to give my money to them to get a great product and support those in need. I highly recommend and endorse Wicked Wick Brews and I hope you will too.

Because I'm quirky like that and yes, I'd love a mobile of adorable tiny sheep. You're going to have to stop yourself from saying, "How CUUUUUTE!" about 14,347 times while you're perusing the shop. In the back is a shelf full of sale items, so don't forget to peek there. I love the fake decorative plants. What's not to love, they look so real and you don't have to remember to water them. But it's the quirky little home goods that I love. I am madly in love with the felted colorful bunting that spells out MERRY CHRISTMAS. Maybe when I get a bonus at work I can justify spending $40 on it! LOL.

When you enter the shop, you'll be overwhelmed with the huge selection of amazing home decor and gift items. I was immediately drawn to the baby section which was filled with adorable products- everything from hair bows, to bibs to small toys. The store accepts cash and credit, and they'll be happy to giftwrap your items. Home on Haddon also runs crafting classes, the schedule and upcoming events can be found on their website. The shop is run by a mother and daughter- oh and their adorable & friendly dog. They could not have been more accomidating or friendly. If you're looking for a gift, this is the first place you should check out.

I was super intimidated being a guy going into a women's clothing store but Daria the owner made me feel welcome and told me not to worry because she was there to help. She literally took a look at my wife's Instagram page to get an understanding of her style and guided me (I'm clueless) about pieces that made sense. I ended up picking out @10 total and my wife loved everything. 3 pieces ran too big and my wife had no issues swapping them for a smaller size with no issues and loved her experience with Daria also. We will be back!

Can a store get any cuter?!…read more First stumbled upon TBB last winter during an abnormally warm day in March. Walked in, and immediately felt happier! Full of fun spring styles that you just can't get at a fast fashion mall type of place. You can tell so much thought, time and passion goes into the design and pieces picked. Fast forward to now that I live in the area again, and I have curated a cute collection of jewelry as well as added to my wardrobe a bit. The prices are so fair and it's just a highlight to my day when I find a gem from here! I've also had the chance to meet and work with the owner Daria. I loved the place that much that I reached out to see if I could help in any capacity. The owner is sweet and she really puts so much effort into her space and products, and it shows when loyal customers come in time and again. So screw the mall and head to The Boutique Bar, you'll feel so much better.

They did have some stationary like cards, stickers, washi tape, journals, and more but everything was very expensive. There wasn't a large range of any of those items I mentioned, just a handful of journals, maybe five stickers, etc. The store also sold some home goods, purses, and other gift items but nothing that made me say "wow". Overall, the selection was very expensive. I felt let down by the recommendation of this store and won't be back.

The employees were soooooo lovely and polite when I went and I must highlight that they created their own totally free (!!) pamphlet guide to Philly!! However, when we arrived, the door was locked and no one appeared to be there. We waited outside for about 20 minutes, trying to contact the business by phone and through their Instagram page, but received no response. Eventually, we left and walked over to McCormick & Schmick's a few blocks away to get drinks and hopefully hear back. After an hour with no update, we decided to stroll around Center City and make the most of our day. Around 5:45 PM, I finally received a call from a staff member who apologized and explained she hadn't seen our messages and she was actually at home at the time. She offered to reschedule us for the next day at 3 PM. We accepted, but since we were still in the area, we called back and asked if we could come "now". She agreed, and we walked back over for a 6PM session. Once there, we were offered wine for purchase and water which we accepted. We got to make two candles each. She walked us through the process and told us to pick out our scents. The music playing added to a fun, laid-back vibe. Despite the earlier miscommunication, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely consider going again.
