The pricing seems fair. There's also table seating along the wall. I stopped by Burrito Loco in Epping for takeout recently. The place was pretty busy with a semi long line to the "assembly" counter. Also, several members of the local PD were here enjoying the food. I waited about 5 minutes before I reached the glass counter. I ordered the Fish Burrito Bowl with fried whitefish, cilantro rice, pinto beans, shredded cheese, Mexican cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, mango salsa, corn, sour cream, verde sauce, I was also given a small bag of chips with a cup of mild salsa, total $13.97 with tax. The portion size of the burrito bowl was a good amount of tasty ingredients, all stuffed into a deep plastic bowl. The breaded fish filets were crisp on the outside. I poured some of the salsa on the burrito bowl, making for also a great dip for the crunchy tortilla chips. Overall, Burrito Loco is another great option for Mexican fare in Epping, making this place the fifth Mexican eatery (fast & sitdown places) in town.

It was so overcooked the kernels of corn were the consistency of rubber. Whatever the sauce was sour and tasted foul. We each ate two bites and decided to just let it go. We also ordered the taquitos and the were just bland and greasy. Also stopped with two. Just a complete disappointment. My husband ordered the only burrito on the menu that was offered as a hand held. As you can see by the picture it was open and a sloppy mess. He took one bite and said he was good and didn't want to risk eating anything else. I got three different tacos chicken, beef and carnitas. I took a one bite of each and on my life, I've never tasted worse food. Everything tasted like it was days old. The ambiance is cute but I cannot understand the 4 star rating this place has. There was not one single item worth eating. I am convinced people giving this place five stars are friends or paid by the establishment to give out these stars. I have had crappy but edible Mexican food before but this had no redeeming quality. Go to Taco Bell if you need a taco. This was $85 before the tip and we left and ate somewhere else.

Such good filling, I did think the menu said queso fresco and if I'm not mistaken I didn't receive that. They were a bit spicy, but I really enjoy spicy food. The rice was fluffy and the beans had such good flavor. My drinks were good but the one that was supposed to be super spicy was on the sweater side. I do think the big cups = more juice/ mix, which I do not prefer. Tacos were good. There is free parking in the back on the weekends!!

It was very soup and was a leaking mess by the time we got home. Not sure why it wasn't in a cup with a lid like the guac, and like it has been other times. Also, this second time I found myself chewing on a a large piece of chicken from my veggie burrito bowl - for someone who hasn't eaten animals in over two decades and had no intention of starting to do so, it was pretty awful. It was not yet crowded either time we ordered and was a weekday (around 5PM-ish). Given the first time we ordered was fine, we're thinking/hoping the missing verde sauce, soupy mis-packaged queso and chicken piece debacles were a reflection of an off evening in the kitchen. I got the Frida's tacos and my husband got the chicken fajita. I got a Pacifico and hubby just had ginger ale. When the food came out, my tacos were hot and tasty. My husband received the sides that go with the fajitas and waited, and waited for the actual fajita! I felt bad eating my tacos while he only had sides. When the fajita finally came, the tortillas were so overcooked, they were crunchy, like a cracker and deep brown! Once our waiter put our food down, that was the last we saw of him. My beer was empty and stayed empty. It's difficult to eat without something to drink and, after about 15 minutes, I took my empty glass up to the bar and asked the bartender to please give me some water! He actually looked embarrassed and I could see he was looking around to see where our waiter went but he was nowhere in sight. It was not busy. There were only 3 or 4 tables with people at them. After so many positive experiences at Frida we did not expect this! One other thing is the music they were playing from the 80's was SO LOUD I couldn't hear myself think! We had to shout at each other to have a conversation! I had to shout at our waiter to order the food! I like to have music playing too but not so excessively LOUD that I struggle to have a conversation. This was ok,I guess, on a Friday or Saturday night but not on a Sunday afternoon! Anyway, by the time we tracked down our waiter (Salvatore), and showed him the crunchy, brown, tortillas, he offered to bring new ones but, by that time, my hubby's chicken fajita was cold....so we declined. The bar also offers draft beer, wine, and cocktails. A complementary basket of crunchy chips & mild salsa, hot mustard dip and a small plate of refritos & cotja cheese were brought out. The prices here are moderate. I was given a glass of cold water. I went with the Shrimp Fajitas ($21.99 plus tax) served with Mexican rice, refried beans & cheese, lettuce, diced tomato, shredded cheese, sour cream & guacamole and 4 hot flour tortillas. The food was serving to me in about 12 minutes after ordering. The hot skillet of 7 tiger shrimp, green peppers and onions was sizzling. The fajitas and the accompaniments were very filling and tasty. I also requested a to go box. I passed on dessert. The check with tax and before tip was $23.86 (cash)/$24.81 (card). Overall, I enjoyed a great meal at Frida with leftovers. Nonstop 1980s music was blaring over the speakers and a college basketball game showing on ESPN was on every TV. A few staff also stopped by to check on things and asked if this was my first time in. Frida happened to be on my way home from the Seacoast. I would definitely stop back here if I'm in Epping.
