This company has been around for more than two decades and the whole team is awesome to work with. Over the years, Cabinet's Plus has designed, built and installed cabinets for my brother-in-law, mother-in-law, a good friend and a neighbor. Now, it was my turn! Greg Baird, Master Designer, came out to discuss my proposed layout. He actually talked me out of installing additional cabinets because he had the foresight that it would be too cramped and crowded. And boy, was he right. I am so glad I took his direction. I decided to kick it up a notch and chose the Storm Grey Laminate. It really came out great and looks even better than I was expecting. The quality of the material, the hinges and the overall workmanship is best-in-class. The guys that install it are really good too. George (30+ year employee) and Allen arrived on time, worked as a team and installed all the parts flawlessly. They are real installation professionals and take great pride in their work. Cabinets Plus should be your "Go To" place for garage and closet cabinetry. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

We spent a huge amount of time and effort, researching different cabinetry companies in order to find the right match for us. It became clear as we researched that there is a big dividing line within the cabinetry industry. Most typically there are guys who have table saws, and tape measures and they proceed to chop up wood and nail it together. However, a more recent development in the cabinetry business is what we were looking for. The most advanced companies come out, take measurements of the room and then design the cabinetry on a three dimensional computer system. This provides a way of essentially seeing what you're going to create before you even make one bit of sawdust. Once an optimized design is finalized, the wood parts are cut up and drilled by computer controlled machines, that very precisely control the dimensions of the wood parts to within only a few thousands of an inch. At that point the wood panels are simply put together with very little effort and essentially no corrective measures being needed. The result is a cabinet assembly that comes out essentially perfect. All drawers are precisely in line, everything fits pretty much perfectly. And this is how Haynes cabinetry operates. Along with Haynes, using the most advanced methods of creating cabinetry, throughout our project, they continually displayed a most proactive approach to dealing with us. At no point during the project, did we ever have to ask to have something done a second time. Everything we asked was taken care of, and taken care of with a smile. It was as if we were having friends that we've known for years come over and perform this work, they were amazing! Looking back at our home remodel, it is clear that Haynes cabinetry led the pack with regards to comparing them with the other contractors that we had involved in our project. We cannot recommend Haynes too much.

We had just gone through the painstaking process of throwing away new cabinets made by another company, as they were not to code and didn't fit our space. Finally that saga had ended, and our dreams had come true in a beautiful shade of whitewashed red oak. We did hire a layout design specialist prior to meeting Charles, but the company took our design a step further and concocted a very ingenious shape for the lazy susans to maximize storage. The drawers on our base cabinets are deep, spacious and close softly. It's amazing how much we can store now. As with all renovations there were some delays getting the ball rolling, but the final result was well worth the wait. Their fabulous builder, Alfred is incredibly helpful and has called me personally to talk through things. The installers were also top notch. Thanks again, Haynes for a job well done!

We met with three or four other companies before making our decision, and honestly, nobody came close to the level of service, attention, and ideas that Marcos brought to the table. His customer service has been amazing from day one. There was never any pressure and absolutely no upselling. He listened to what we wanted, understood our budget and goals, and then came back with a design that was actually better than what we had originally envisioned. We are incredibly excited to see everything come together because this kitchen refresh is going to completely change the look and feel of our home. One of the things we also really liked is that Mr. Cabinet Care is a family-owned business, they build custom cabinets, and the work is handled by their own team rather than being passed off to subcontractors. That gave us a lot of confidence in the quality and accountability throughout the project. If you are considering a kitchen remodel or refresh, I would absolutely recommend reaching out to Marcos.

I have posted the entire text chain and an image of an email clearly showing this. The date you're referring to says "Oct 21" as in Oct 21, 2024. Not 2021. It's very telling that you don't even remember a job from only a year ago that was over a week long. You couldn't even be bothered to look up the old invoice to see when this job was? Second of all, the messages in the text photos saying "following up on this" and "following up again" are from ME, not you. That was ME following up with YOU after I said I wanted to go ahead with the repair, and you not answering. So your statement that you have not heard from me is patently untrue. That was ME who hadn't heard from YOU. The text chain clearly shows this. Third, the damage was caused by a complete lack of caulk on the cabinet, not "debris in constant contact." There is no "standing water" and no debris in "constant contact." You're making that up, it simply is not the case. The other side is caulked and is still fine, as I pointed out in my texts. I am aware that paint and caulk can only do so much - but guess what? It can do nothing if you don't actually do it in the first place. I am aware of how wood reacts with water (and it's not wood, because you use mdf, which is far worse). The fact remains that the area was not caulked AT ALL and also that I followed up with you multiple times and received no answer. Do not gaslight me by acting like you "never heard back." I clearly stated that I wanted you to do the repairs and you never got back to me. It's all right there in the texts. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Sadly, I have to echo the other reviews on here about the owner ghosting people. I hired OC Kitchen Designs to reface our kitchen cabinets. They weren't the cheapest but they had good reviews. We experienced problems from the beginning. The job was quoted as going to take 3 days - it took more than a week. The painter took far longer than the 1 day it was supposed to take. He brought his whole family on a Saturday and had his wife and young kids helping - the young kids did not do a great job (they aren't pros and should not have been there). He should have come by himself. I found VERY obvious drips and runs on the main cabinet that gets used the most, right at eye level. Glenn said he would fix it. I asked him if he would spray it so it would look even with the rest and he said yes. When he came, he simply brushed over it, leaving very obvious brush marks and color difference. I could have done that myself!! There were so many issues, in fact, that Glenn ended up giving me $250 off, which was the price of the custom wine rack he put in, "because of all the problems." So I will give him credit for that. But... A while later we discovered that the painter had not caulked a major area right next to the stove. A whole corner hadn't been caulked at all, so moisture and liquid had gotten under it and it started to swell. Since he uses mdf and not actual wood, the swelling was pretty severe. I texted Glenn about it and he tried to indicate that it wasn't his fault because "there was probably caulk there, but it's a kitchen and we aren't responsible for water damage." I build furniture and have a woodworking shop and CNC machine. I know what I'm talking about. I've done major repairs to my home. I hired OC Kitchen Designs because I have two young kids and no time, not because I'm an idiot. I know when something has been caulked and when it hasn't. I told him if he came to see it he would clearly see that his painter screwed this up and didn't caulk it (and I have photos and videos). He said he could fix it for $200. I wasn't happy since I believe you should stand by your work, but I agreed to it. He said he could probably come out the next week, he just had to check on this other job (in line with the excuses he's given other people according to these reviews). I texted to follow up several times and no response. He ghosted me rather than come fix his company's mistake. He's a nice enough guy I guess, but I think he's overscheduled. In any event the ghosting is crazy unprofessional. Now I have to hire somebody else to come fix it.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company…read more Initially, everything seemed professional. A designer named Michelle (if I remember her name correctly) came to our home to take measurements. Our closets are unusually deep--about 25 inches--and I specifically emphasized that I wanted the full depth to be used. She assured me that wouldn't be a problem, so I trusted her. After approving the design, I signed the contract, assuming it reflected what we had discussed. Fortunately, I happened to review the plans again before installation and discovered that the shelves had been designed with a standard depth of only 8 inches instead of using the full depth of our custom closets. When I brought this to their attention, I expected them to correct what I believed was a clear misunderstanding. Instead, I was told that the materials had already been ordered and that 99% of their customers use standard-depth shelves. That completely misses the point--we hired them to build custom closets, not standard ones. We tried multiple times to work out a reasonable solution, but the company was unwilling to take responsibility or meaningfully discuss alternatives. Their communication was frustrating, and the customer service throughout the process was extremely disappointing. My advice is to review every single measurement and detail before signing anything, even if you've discussed everything in person. Don't assume the design reflects what was agreed upon. Based on my experience, this company did not deliver the level of customization or customer service I expected. This is a very shade company stay away.
