I'm surprised weddings do not receive a more substantial discount considering the Asian origins of products here certainly have no serious cost. My son needed a tux quickly for school after another place in town had shipping issues and cancelled our order at the last minute. Robert worked after hours on a Friday night to find a tux and have it overnighted for us. Then Robert tailored the tux immediately upon arrival and two hours later I was picking up the tux for my sons event just hours later. Really amazing that he could help us out when nobody else could. I ordered a custom suit online that didn't fit quite right, even after having it tailored twice. A friend recommended that I go see Rob, and he diagnosed the problem immediately. I wasn't even looking to buy anything, but he still took the time to explain everything, re-measure me, and give me his honest advice on what to do. As it turns out, the suit couldn't be fixed as it was, but that didn't stop the other tailor from charging me over $100 for modifications that were never going to work out. I was at a family birthday party and I saw my cousin's shirt. I liked it so much that I asked where he got it, and he let me in on this gem of a store. My first visit, Rob's mother in law was there and she told me his story and even called him on his cell phone so that we could take live. This was awesome, if not a bit overwhelming. I was fortunate enough to stop in three weeks prior to one of his trunk sales and he encouraged me to come in and get measured prior to the trunk sale so that I could make the most of it. A week later, my wife and I were in town and we called to see if he was available. He was moving that day, but offered to come in after hours and meet with us. Our visit started around 7:30 and the first thing he did was offer each of us a drink. We then sat at his desk, and he had one simple question, "What's your story?" I then went through my resume and what lead me to come in and he was very courteous and receptive. He got me another beer somewhere in there. After two hours of talking, trying things on, and picking out fabrics, I Ieft with a shirt, a belt, and a pre-order for the trunk show. The trunk show was even better, with Rob picking out a number of shirts to go with the suits I was having made. The manufacturers reps had picked out some denim and shoes as well. I didn't leave without the credit card smoking a little bit, but it was money well spent for the style and level of service I got. I have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed when I first walked in, but this is simply the most amazing menswear store. It's even more amazing that it's in Blo-No instead of Chicago. There are very few businessmen who care for their customers the way that Rob does, and I am glad to continue to support this business. When you have tried nearly every men's fashion store within a three state area, you will find yourself quite lucky to have stumbled upon Robert Redding Menswear. To cut this short and to the point (as most men appreciate... especially in shopping) He gets it done. He won't call your jacket "pretty" and he knows how to make colors work.
