Eastland Mall wasn't the mall it once used to be. As many residents of Bloomington-Normal know…read moreabout 10+ years ago this mall was thriving with stores galore and had an actual food court. In present day the food court is bare with 3 restaurants and that one pretzel stand (It's still tasty all these years later though). Stores have dissipated with time the good ones being H&M, Macy's, JC Penny, and Victoria's Secret. I look forward to the day where we get more stores, and that those store revive the mall with good owners and make Eastland Mall what it once was, a good mall.

It's in downtown Bloomington, by the Coffee Hound and Reality Bites and in every way, this place looks like a fancy shmancy women's clothing botique. There isn't a very large selection or much inventory, but my wife liked most of the items in the store. Guys - the reason that you should care: the prices are very reasonable. I bought my wife a birthday gift of a pair of boots for $38. I don't think that there were any boots over $45. Most of the clothes that I saw on the rack or folded on tables were between $30-50. One thing to know is that all sales are final, so you might want to make sure that you know your girl's size if you plan to pick something up.

Just down the street from some great coffee shops and restaurants, they have a well-curated selection of very reasonably priced on-trend clothing. I'm in my 30s and find really great casual/creative professional work clothes there that I always getting compliments on (not suits or really structured pieces, I am talking great tops and jackets). Clothes for evenings out (bars, clubbing), and some cute wedding-guest appropriate dresses are also available. They have a great selection of fun statement jewelry. I can't walk out without something semi-ridiculous (today it was a panther bracelet). The employees are a mix of students, mostly design and merchandising students, from area colleges. They usually are very helpful if you ask.

The store had very friendly staff, clean restrooms were present too. Store was mostly clean and organized. Plenty of great snacks too! I found a great selection of stuff from the men's area with great pants and if I was crazy enough to do stocking stuffers for next year. Overall, I thought it was a good store.

They were very inexpensive and I was happy with my purchase. The ladies at the counter were hilarious I bought some lotion that smelled really good and it was the last bottle they had. Of course the cashier put it in a separate bag and said thank you for buying me lotion. She was being funny we joked back-and-forth. It was an awesome experience. I can't say enough about this It really made me leave feeling like I wanted to go back in and work there with those people lol.

I had one that needed refilling and I needed a new second tank. Prices seemed competitive. But service was very good. The cashier treated me like we were long lost friends. I know that I'll be back.

The sign in the store said the original price was $249, on sale for $149 but later, when I looked it up on their website it said the original price was $179 Hmmmmmm? When a store makes my BS Detector go off it's usually a VERY long time before they get any more of my money!
