After a simple move--picking up a pair of pants--my back went out completely. I was in excruciating, incapacitating pain. While sitting offered some relief, the transition to standing was unbearable; it felt like my whole back was lighting up. I reached out to Dr. O'Connor, and he got me in quickly.
