Dr. Thomas, I just…read morethought to let you know that your idea that my back appeared "normal" based upon my x-ray and your lack of concern for the paralysis in my foot was irresponsible.  Your lack of care should give you pause as a medical professional.  Despite my insistence that my paralysis and pain should warrant an MRI, you said to just take some tramadol and follow up later.  I took matters into my own hands and got an MRI and it shows a significant pars defect (fracture) at L5-S1, and a disc protrusion with a posterior disc extrusion impinging on my L5 nerve root.  I also have moderate degeneration in my L4-L5.   I am awaiting neurosurgery after nearly a month of waiting for resolution.  Shame on you. Are you sure you are a doctor?

I took my 95 year old mother to Dr. Thomas for a physical. Prior to the appointment I wrote a note…read morethe Dr. Thomas asking for her help is suggesting that my mother get help in her home, as she need more assistance than I or my siblings can provide. She needs a walker, has stairs in her home, and wheezes when moving. Dr. Thomas told my mother that the decision was up to her alone and she thought she was fine living alone. I am now worried that the doctor won't sign the necessary papers for her long term insurance, given her haste to make a judgement after a short visit with my mother. Dr. Thomas is also my doctor and I plan to make a change. I don't need a lazy approach to my health.
