They were informative with what was going to happen and what could happen in case of complications. And I liked knowing what the cost was up front. The whole experiance was a great one for my daughter. Just think I about did come here because of some of the yelp reviews. As someone terrified of the…read more dentist I was extremely nervous when a failed wisdom tooth extraction forced me to see a surgeon for a root tip removal. I was seen within one day of my phone call and the surgery was two days later. The day of surgery I was extremely nervous but Dr. Merkel took the time to reassure me that the tip removal would take only two minutes and be totally pain free. He was true to his word and it took longer for the novicane to take effect than it took for him to remove the root tip. I as in and out within obe half hour. Thank you for making a believer out of a chicken.

I am being refused service, cancelled my appointment because they proceeded with processing my insurance wrong and told me I wasn't covered. After I come to my appointment. Mind you I showed up on and they attempted to send an email saying they needed a call the day prior. Tie the office manager is not qualified to be an office manager. She is attempting to charge me prior to service, which you should if I am Tricare and a participating participant. They can call to know Tricare's is processing everything and refuses to aid in the help because all she will discuss is not getting payment. She refuses to listen and is more worried about being right or feel competent instead of having an intelligent conversation. Clearly I can tell I know more about bulling and dental. All I need to clear this up is her to contact regional billing to help her understand insurance but she refuses to listen to me or call. As all she says is she wants to payment or won't discuss anything with me. They tried to fix this issue by letting me be seen but told me I had to pay ahead from now on. I don't have an unpaid balance and I need a bill if there is. I haven't received a bill yet.....? Tie refused me the regional office billing number and regionals number stating she doesn't know her boss's information. I would recommend getting someone in that office that knows how to handle said situation. Not to mention she kept stating she just got there and doesn't know what's going on. Not an excuse to learn and do better instead of refuse care or refuse to handle a situation that you are responsible for. I can tell you once I speak to regional billing they will contact tie and tell her she needs to allow me To make my appointment and they will fix this issue. She can simply call and be educated but that's not the case. She would rather refuse to listen or aid help in service. Which tells me they don't know what they're doing on the business side of the office. This really affects the efficiency and amount of problems they are now causing due to this issue. I'm on the phone right now and customer service is calling United Concordia and adjusting my account as the manager of This Aspen dental can't provide proper customer service.

So what do I suppose to do I have a broken tooth. I have a secondary insurance that she don't even know. She only see tricare. She stated we have to get paid and we are not doing work without payment. First off my INSURANCE COMPANY scheduled this appointment for me. I said how long does an authorization take. She said it takes 3 to 4 weeks to come back. It will take about 4 to 5 days to request it because she is busy. She said I've seen these things and it takes forever to come back. We will call you if it does. Oh my. I have enough money to pay for it my dang pocket. I called the insurance company and nothing was sent to them. I drive right up to my main doctor office and got a referral to another office down the street and they started the work right there. I've been a long time member for over a decade. I even received invisalign paid out of my pocket 5k..I will not come back to this office. As long as that biking lady is there wth her rude self. She escorted me right up out the office, I barely got my coat on.

I've had a dental cleaning my whole life and take good care of my teeth but they no longer want to do a cleaning it has to be either a deep cleaning or they invented a new name which is gum cleaning and of course insurance doesn't cover it. also anytime you have a crown or a composite on a tooth it comes of sometimes same day. not sure if they use cheap product or untrained people. I had to finally go get another crown at a different dentist and it stayed three years now and going.
