Hard to recommend this office. Very inconsistent on pricing and maybe it depends on the person…read moreone talks to. Just wanted a consultation with someone. The first time I called and it was around $150.00. Then calling back to confirm my appointment the fee increased to $241.00. No reason could be given, so maybe it was the time of day or perhaps the charges the office had to bring in to cover its operation that week. Obviously, I cancelled. I've have never been to the office but it looks high dollar on the advertising picture and indeed it is. If you don't mind paying just to chat with their "expert" for 10 minutes, then this may be the place for you. Maybe they just want wealthy clientele, so fee "extraction" is easier.

From the techs to the office staff and the dentists, I have had nothing but great experiences at this facility. They are attentive to nervous patients, kind and helpful in setting up needed services, and just generally lovely. The care is excellent, and they take the time to explain what you need going forward. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the office you need in your life. They do complex things, like implants and crowns, as well as the more common cleanings and fillings. The location is convenient at 69 and 159th Street. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

I would give lower stars but I don't want to be too hurtful. Everything is fine for a "normal" or…read more"average" person to go here but for people who need extra comfort or people who are sensitive especially with sensory needs this causes extreme anxiety. Go if you want but I wouldn't recommend for those with sensory issues, go somewhere where they make better accommodations. Of course it isn't something that's great to go through but I know that other places around the area specialize more for those who need different adjustments with sensory issues.

I went to Dr. Stroede May 2021, about my crooked, top, front tooth. She said the tooth could be…read morestraightened with Invisalign. After 18 months and 35 sets of aligners, the tooth was better, but still crooked. It was still slightly turned, and one side higher than the other. I mentioned it every appt and was told every time that everything looked good, and it takes time. On the 2nd to last visit, I brought it up AGAIN. I was told we still have options, and she mentioned putting a brace on the front teeth to straighten the crooked tooth. At the last appt her story changed, all of a sudden it was straight, it just looked crooked because of ware and a chip. In my 18 months of treatments and appts every 3 months, she NEVER mentioned ware or a chip. I don't do confrontation, so I just left to decide what I should do next. She recommended I go to my dentist for bonding. I did, and he said that the tooth was crooked and worn and referred me to a cosmetic dentist. I saw him and he said the same thing, the tooth is crooked, and bonding wouldn't work well in the place I need it to make the tooth LOOK straight. He referred me to an ortho. The ortho agreed that the tooth is crooked, and CAN be straightened with another set of Invisalign. They will also correct the other issues like my bite being off still, that somehow didn't get fixed by Stroede. These issues should have been addressed during the 1st or 2nd refinement. If I was listened to even once and she took the time to make sure the trays were fixing the issue I came to her for my treatment would be done. I FEEL like I was ignored and strung along until I was out of refinements and options. After the consultations. I called Dr. Stroede's office and spoke to Jennifer and asked for a partial refund of the $2500 that I had to pay another ortho to fix the ONE tooth I came to her for and was still crooked. She needed to talk to Dr. Stroede and would call me back. The next day, she called and said they wouldn't do a refund, but that I could come back and do one more refinement for a smaller fee than the new ortho. They are saying the tooth is straight but also offering to fix it for more money. How can you fix a tooth if it is already straight? After sending an email request for a refund they offered $2080 which was half of what I paid. However, I could only receive the refund if I signed a release and waiver. The waiver mentioned I couldn't talk to anyone, even family/friends about my experience, or post a review. Also, I couldn't file any claims with OSHA/regulatory agents. Sorry, but an ortho is not going to tell me what I can talk to my family about. It was a ridiculous request to get a refund. Eventually she reduced it to just a general release, releasing Dr. Stroede from any claims or liability arising from my treatment. At this point I didn't trust her and wasn't going to sign anything. It is hard to trust someone that changes what she says multiple times. Example-in an email on 3/27 she says, "there may be an anatomic reason why your upper right front tooth did not completely move how I prescribed in 3 separate Invisalign Clinchecks". If the tooth is straight, why is she mentioning that the tooth didn't move how she prescribed THREE TIMES? Then on 4/4 "I do not recommend attempting to tip the root any closer to the midline suture while attempting to disguise the worn edge". Now I guess it is unsafe to move, yet she wanted me to come back and pay for another refinement. If she was consistent with what she was saying, I wouldn't be doing this review. If a tooth can't be straightened, it can't, and I would have accepted that. Making people sign a release and waiver to not post reviews, just to get a refund makes me no longer trust 4-5 star reviews. I have recordings of calls/emails to back up any quotes/facts mentioned. Maybe she is a great Ortho, I just wish I could have received that level of care. Because that would mean I didn't have to spend another 2k+ and another 6-8 months in aligners.
