This is going to be a lengthy review... Honestly, I am so surprised that RH does not have 4-5 stars. Robert Half reached out to me after I graduated college in 2021 and got me an amazing assignment within days of me sending my resume. After about a month, the assignment ended abruptly due to the client not needing temps anymore. (literally got the news at 3pm that it was my last day and clocked out at 4:30pm) I called my rep Sabah with tears in my eyes saying how I needed a job and can't believe what just happened. She said she just got the news herself and will look for something right away. The next morning Sabah calls me and says she found an assignment. It was only 10 days but she would keep searching while I was there. I started working the next day. This 10 day assignment turned to months and I absolutely LOVED it there. I still stay in touch with the people from that office. After that was over, I told them I wanted to work remotely. They told me since COVID was basically over it may be tough, but they'll look for remote assignments for me. It took them about a month to find me a remote assignment. This week, after six months working for this client through Robert Half, I converted to being a full time employee at the company. I will definitely miss being an employee through Robert Half because RH always had my back and were so supportive. Along with Sabah, a big shoutout to Brooke, Priscilla, and Amber for always checking in and answering all my questions and for finding me the perfect placement. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I have worked with them for over 10 years in Oakland, San Francisco, and San Joaquin County before I had degrees. Now that I have an MBA I can't even get a call back on any jobs, even those where I meet all qualifications. Reps don't respond to emails, and I see others saying the same thing. You apply online now and no one ever contacts you. Robert Half/Office Team wasn't run like this in the past. They cared and worked to place you in appropriate jobs. What's worse is in California businesses are lazy and a lot of them make you go through agencies like Robert Half who are no longer reliable or temp centered. They pay 1980s and early 1990s wages and keep alot of money for themselves. As someone who has hired temps on the manager side, I know this to be true. It's very disappointing and discouraging what the job market has become in this state and Robert Half ghosting people looking for work is shameful and unprofessional. read more

Because of the flexibility of the agency they can land you jobs which you otherwise wouldn't have the ability to get with the downside that employment is not guaranteed. Soooooo it looks like Robert Half spends a lot of money hiring internal staff/recruiters who don't actually do anything. Weird business model but ok. I had a very similar experience to most of these reviews... I went in for the interview process, met with Anita.....never EVER heard back from her. I did get a few emails from random other folks there for jobs I was not REMOTELY qualified for or interested in. I reached out to Anita and Kate, both of whom never returned calls or emails. I finally asked for a manager and got Halle who apologized profusely, promised to help me find something.......and nothing. All the while this is happening, they are posting jobs on various online sources. Jobs I would be interested in. Jobs I emailed and said "Hey, can I be considered for this". Crickets. I finally gave up and asked to be removed from their system, just to avoid the crappy calls I was getting to work weekends at trade shows. I have to wonder if they post fake jobs just to get applicants to create work for themselves. All in all, this place is a giant waste of time. If you're job hunting, you can't afford to waste your time with this place. read more

If you are going to read one review this is the one you want to read. My honest and open opinion: Say what you will about Robert Half I can only speak on my own personal experience. To be honest I was skeptical of Robert Half and doing temp work, but I took a chance because I was not having luck applying for jobs anywhere else. With youth on my side and a bachelors degree I thought finding a job would be easy, but I had no luck. Robert Half and most importantly Ally Dutra was the person who gave me the big break i needed. Ally gave me the ability to show case my abilities to employers, with an open mind and the ability to learn at each temp position I was assigned I was given offer after offer but with Allys help she found me the job I was looking for, sticking with me through the ups and downs and never settling Ally not only built up my work experience but found me a position in higher education which I thought was impossible to find. For the reviews that say that Robert Half is unresponsive or that they never reached back out to them, remeber this, they do not get paid unless you get a job so do not complain about getting someones help for free. Lastly, Robert Half gives you the opportunity that no other company gives you, you get to actually show your personality and ability to learn. Good luck applying to all these companies and getting turned down just because your resume isn't made of solid gold. I've been there, i had no job experience and Robert Half and Ally took me in with open arms and patted my resume up real good. Take my advice, give them a chance if you aren't having luck finding a job on your own, BUT remeber their job is to HELP find you a job, it is your job to do well in that job. read more

I never thought that I would have such a negative experience after a 10 year plus relationship. Earlier this year I worked one of the largest assignments of the year during covid. In Sacramento County people were still due to wear masks indoors. It was happening at the assignment. I spoke with my contacts, but they didn't do anything to help. I ended up leaving the assignment for my health. One contact understood, and the other called me up with her anticovid attitude and reamed me for leaving. They attempted to not reimburse me for parking as agreed. I had to mention the that I felt that I wouldn't be imbursed in the follow up feedback survey. I got a call from a bitter employee informing me that I would be reimbursed for the parking. A little later I attempted to log into my profile. I tried a few times after that. My email wasn't in the system. It turns out that these 2 employees deleted my profile with all of my RH workhistory. I needed to get into the system so that I could get my year end form W2. It took the IT department 2 days to find my profile, and add it back into the system. Needless to say I won't be working for Office Team again. read more

I worked with several folks from a few different RH offices. I initially interviewed with Holly Allen who got me 100% setup with RH to start an assignment (paperwork, reference review, assessments). She said that they are a team and she was right! I was checking in with Halle and Katrina at this office as well as Holly and found a great job in a little over 2 weeks! I received a congratulations call from Holly even though my new employer wasn't her client. They put great thought into recommending job seekers to employers and it showed in my quick placement. The agents here are very dishonest and won't help you at all. They just throw you to customer services. When I quit this job they weren't willing to pay me within 72 hours. This was the worse agency I ever went to in my life. Will not recommend anyone to go to Robert Half. The pay rate was a rip off. I was getting pay 17$ and found out all other temps working for other temp agencies were getting pay 19$. When the agent, Signh Anita, offer new the job she was so dishonest about the job description. She lied about it. The job was nothing to what she described to me. I had the worst experience ever. Ally Dutra promised the world and delivered nothing. I contacted in early November. I wanted someone to start right away. Ally told me to wait until after Thanksgiving and then promised that she would take care of my need and to not contract any other recruiter. I followed up the week after Thanksgiving only to discover that they did not even open the rec for the person so were not looking at all. I did not get a return call just a BS email saying that because I was in health care they could not help me. I'm a contractor not in health care. They really put me in a bind by trusting them. I got another firm to find me a person but by then ?i only had a week to train my new hire. Call them at your own risk. read more

If I could give NO stars I will. Funny how they tell people to come in for an interview. Then after the quick interview , no phone call NOTHING. I drove all the way, for nothing. I know I am very qualified for the job they have. But since I am over 50 years old, I am considered "useless". I have so many years for solid job experience in healthcare. They prefer someone like 23 years old that speaks Spanish with very little experience in fast food or mail room or sales in a department store. When they say that they do not discriminate, that is really a big lie. So if you are over fourty or fifty with a lot of great experience, do not bother. read more

I was trying to find a job for over two months through Robert Half, and only got a couple of phone calls in the first few weeks, then after that, I heard nothing, despite my multiple phone calls and voicemails. I was supposed to be working with this office, then got a job offer from the Rancho Cordova location, even though I did not want a job in Rancho. When you happen to do get a job offer from a company, this location will bug you at least twenty times a day to "get all of your paperwork filled out". I get that you need to do your new hire paperwork, but multiple phone calls, emails AND texts a day get very bothersome fast. At the time, I had A LOT of personal stuff going on (court dates) and could not start a job I was offered right away (meaning the next day), and I got a lot of attitude from the Team. I was placed at a company, where I had a working interview, then I guess I started the job? I never got a job offer, but somehow I was an employee? The communication was lacking...big time. Also, because you are an employee through them, they pay you literally at least $5 less an hour than you should be paid, which is not cool. I was working for $13 an hour, when the other employee who was not employed through this company was making $18 per hour. Furtuna comes off extremely fake and snobby. Stephanie is rude. The only person who made my time with Office Team good was Kate. I have now starting working with a different Staffing Agency, that cares about their clients, instead of just trying to plug people into jobs that don't fit for them. read more

My experiences with this location started out wel enough, but quickly slid into nonexistance. I interviewed with them, tested "really high" on their aptitude tests and they were really stoked I had such great skills. But then they took advantage of the fact that this was the first time I'd worked for a temp agency, and they low-balled me. They told me the jobs didn't pay what I was asking and was I okay with making 2 dollars less an hour. Right. So they're still charging the $25 an hour to the vendors, then stiffing me out of a few bucks an hour so THEY can make more. Not cool. After a few assignmetns that just didn't work out how I would have liked (too far commute, I was overqualified for another) I tested, and re-tested and typed 85 WPM and other great amazing feats. No calls. It was as though I didn't exist to them anymore. I called in available 2 times a week, and no communication. Nada. So I finally registered with other agencies and never worked for them agian. And I never will. I'll take my business elsewhere if I'm ever in the market in Sacramento agian... and you should to. Try their competetiors. They do less business, but I find they have more time to give the personal touch. read more

He was very professional and checked in often during my assignments. He not only checked in with me but also took initiative in working with the company that I am now working for. Any assistance that I needed and asked for was executed in a very timely manner. The response time to any of the questions I had was answered with no delay. There was not a time where I was in the dark about my assignments. Information from the location to the duration of my temporary assignment was discussed very thoughtful and throughly. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with any employment agency. In the past, I've utilized the services of Adecco, Volt, Modis, TEKSystems, Pacific Staffing, and Office Team. Every single one of those is a cut above RHI. In almost three months, they came up with 3 possible jobs; One developed into two interviews that seemed like a distinct opportunity that simply 'disappeared' after weeks of back and forth communication. Another was well outside the travel zone I specified, and the third never went anywhere at all - in fact, there was never any communication from them since. Some of the staff have attitude problems, and I worked with someone a while back who came from this office and did not have nice things to say about it - I should have listened! Avoid at all costs, you have a MUCH better chance of finding a job on your own than with this extremely poor excuse for a staffing agency. There are plenty more out there willing to help you, this place isn't worth your time (unless you enjoy wasting it). read more

I have been in the administrative/marketing industry for years and have never experienced such a horrible staffing agency. Particularly Danny Estrada, NEVER returns his calls. The receptionist is also very unprofessional. My partner and I both came in for interviews as we both were recently laid off. She stared at us the entire time, what the hell? We're just TWO NORMAL PEOPLE TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING. Danny Estrada and this agency are TERRIBLE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They think that because people are unemployed they will be desperate, they will trick you and will not give you a job. If they do, good for you but there are TONS of people who have had the same experience (look @ the reviews). It's about numbers for them. They want people in their system to say they have that many clients. USE ANOTHER SERVICE. Danny Estrada and this whole agency is awful. I think the recruiters here are too busy trying to reach their goal rather than helping you. I can recall a time where my recruiter was James. After finishing the required paperwork, I was told to contact them every Monday to see if anything was available. I understand that the availability of the of the length of an assignment I was looking for may have been too short and impossible to find; however, not returning messages is extremely unprofessional. Sure, you can be busy but it only takes a second out of your day to return a phone call or respond by email that there is nothing available. I guess they assume since I am looking for supplement employment, I will accept any type of treatment. Each experience is going to be different so if you are looking for employment, you might have a positive experience with them. My experience started positive but ended on a negative note. I have had a few interview that went great over the years with them and a few companies that wanted to hire me but Robert Half either gave me wrong information and I was late and at the wrong place, never called to give me the time or place of the interview then called to ask why I did not show up or after an interview never called me back to say the client went with another candidate. They are the worst and I don't know why I have wasted my time with them. The job posting and descriptions are a little off. They lie about the companies they are sending you to. It was very fast pace, I got in touch with Kim Kasper on a Wednesday met up with her on a Thursday the following day, from the moment I met her everything went smoothly and very quickly. I registered that same day and within 24 hours I had a job opportunity and an interview. From the two companies I worked for, I have to say that the Robert Half office team was by far the best. The other company never even landed me any employment until about 5 weeks after I interviewed.
