Very amazing job agency! Professional staff to help match you with your skillset! I have always completed assignments with them and they have placed me with very reputable companies! I highly recommend this agency for job placement! Abi and Kenji are awesome!! read more

Kenji Nakano is extremely lazy and incompetent. He will make up stories about you and try to keep you away from actually finding work. Be warned, his accusations will come completely from left field. No preparation, no hint, completely unexpected. Once you start getting a grasp on what he is even saying he will hang up on you and pretend you don't exist. Personally, I think it's because he doesn't even want to put forth an effort and actually do his job. Meanwhile you're the one who has to suffer because people like him are directly contributing to keeping you out of the workforce. read more

UPDATE!!!!!!! I do not recommend working with Robert Half. They DO NOT care about their employees, just making money off of their partners and paying their employees at a lower rate. The company I had been trying for was remote, I did all the foot work on getting the equipment, rearranging my house, setting up the computers, training 5 in the morning while my baby is still sleeping were my desk was at. Everyone in my house caught covid and the remote company ended my assignment because of "attendance". I got very sick, even my baby. There was no sympathy from Robert Half. They didn't compensate me for holding the companies equipment. Robert Half isn't "Equal Opportunity". They could careless about your housing situation. + I needed a letterhead for my housing they still haven't given me what I requested. They are so quick to take from you not even a second thought to think. But when they need something they are unprofessional and unfair about it. Wish I haven't even went through this staffing agency, they DONT CARE!!!! read more

Dan Diez helped me with a remote role. He was always professional, supportive, and understanding. I also worked with Melissa Tree at this RH office and she, too, was excellent. If you're looking for a temp, temp to hire, or direct hire role, I highly recommend reaching out to this office asap. read more

I had a great experience with Robert Half, I was in a bind selling my place during covid and the fluctuating covid restrictions and mediocre real estate agents (that's another story) but my time was extended and I already left my job, My agent, Kenji was just very quick at getting my jobs in-line with my requests and my background and quick. They were pretty upfront with my contract terms and gave me multiple options giving me pretty good assignments at quick notice. Like I had my home sale fall though less than a week before closing after i just ended an assignment and he was able to gave me pretty good assignments relatively fast and were receptive no my needs and concerns regarding the type of work, covid concerns, and location. Based on the experience at the Honolulu office I'd definitely recommend Robert Half for short term temporary assignments and I am already looking at their many available jobs in the city I'm moving. read more

Meat market. They work for companies, so they don't really care about candidates. Some of the companies that work with Robert Half get problems. They often can't find the employees themselves. In shorts, the experiences I had working with them was terrible. I got a little traumatize for a while and the company left me a very bad impression of head hunters. Recruiters there are worse than sales people. They talk a beautiful game, but that's all. They would persistently cold call me but when I left messages they never replied. They would also persistently sent me personal emails regarding available positions and when I replied they disappeared. Things like that... I meant what is wrong with this company seriously? read more

I actually liked this employment agency better than one of the competitors on the same street because they were helpful and were able to update my resume to reflect my current status of continuing education and looking for a temporary summer job. Their skills assessment tests are straight forward and can be taken anywhere online. I was able to get an offer that fitted into my availability schedule, but I turned it town due to the location of where it really is and my overprotective parents being concerned about me working there which is understandable. I'm not going to take out a star or anything like that because they were flexible and knowledgeable too. I'll probably go back to them even when my new semester starts because I am currently looking for a part time job that fits with my school schedule. Or go back to them after my studies are officially over. read more

I had a great experience with Robert Half, they were professional and helpful. I was assisted by Chad Norris extremely supportive, followed up with me on a regular basis and he cares about you. I totally recommend to any Job seeker! read more

Office Team rocks! From the time I signed up, they had me working. The first assignment lasted three months with great people. The second assignment I was very reluctant to take, mostly because I didn't think I was qualified. Nathan had faith in me, so he scheduled me for an interview. Within no time, I was working again - this time for nine months, only to be hired permanently! I can't even begin to communicate how happy and relieved I be considered for a full-time position! I no longer had to worry about submitting resumes and being rejected, or worse, ignored. I've signed up with other agencies besides Office Team, but they're the only ones who found me my perfect job, with fabulously professional and supportive people. Thank you, Nathan and Kenji. You're TOPS in my book! :-) read more

Long overdue review! Before moving to Hawaii, I was tipped to contact Robert Half to help me with my job search. After a brief phone interview with Shelle, I was set up with an in-office interview with Drew within a week of my arrival. I showed up at their office and met with Shelle and Drew, and both were friendly, courteous, approachable, and professional. After my interview, I was informed of some various online hoop jumping in order to set up my profile with Robert Half. I'll admit that some of these hoops were easier to jump through than others but after a brief consultation on the phone with how to navigate through the system, my profile was complete and I was ready to begin fielding job opportunities. It didn't take long at all for Drew and Shelle to find potential job offerings for me. We would discuss each position at length and I went into each job confident that Robert Half had set me up for success. I'm happy to say that my 2nd temp job had offered me a full time, salaried position, and that I'm happily and gainfully employed with a wonderful company, and that my skill-set is ever expanding due to the opportunities given to me by Robert Half. I have only the best to say about this company and their Honolulu office, and should I ever need temp services again, they will be the first people I'll call. Thank you, Robert Half! read more

I worked at Robert Half for many years at different states and at different engagements. They were all great at human level and at professional level as well. The last location was in Honolulu where I worked for nearly two years: I would highly recommend the company for those who need help with accounting. And to be fair, I consider Honolulu office the best encounter I ever had at Robert Half International for the professionalism, support, and knowledge level they displayed while I was in assignments: they made my service worth while to clients. read more

Robert Half was incredibly helpful as I transitioned to living in Hawaii and obtaining employment. I was successfully employed by a company in my salary range through RH within two weeks of my arrival from California. Dan Dietz provided invaluable information on everything from buying a car to local customs and helped me acclimatize to the work environment (wages are way lower than San Francisco, but employees are treated like family). Eriko Ngo worked diligently to provide quality job opportunities that suited my interests and skills. She was highly responsive and made me feel like a valued applicant. RH is very well connected on the island based on the range of companies that were presented to me. Honestly, working with RH was the easiest time I've had in getting a job bc they did all the work! read more

Another bad experience, our firm used Office Team (not my decision). They hired someone who turned out to be a total flake from the 2nd day. Person was unqualified and had too many personal problems. After 1 day on the job, the Robert Half Temp couldn't come in due to personal problems. Wtf. She wasted a lot of time talking about her personal problems, making personal calls. Then to top it off, said she was still looking "for something better out there" and that she didn't think she could do the job. She also said she wasn't making what she was promised. Which is strange because my experience as a temp is you set your min hourly rate and the temp service adds to that which employer pays. So it was all strange and disappointing to say the least. I did not do the interviewing or see her resume. I have never had this kind of unprofessional experience with a temp before. Usually they are prescreened and ready to lay the hammer down. So I confronted her on her experience and she admitted no experience. So she wasted everyone's time due to lies on resume. Because after saying she needed more time to handle personal problems, she gave 5 days notice. But the hiring person told her don't bother coming back. So in 5 days she only showed up 2 days then quit. #EpicFail Very unprofessional in every way, expected more from an employment agency than a hire off the street. If it was up to me, I'd contest paying bill. read more

After being out of work for 7 years I was struggling finding employment. After 6 months of searching, I contacted Robert Half and worked with Tuesday. She scheduled an interview to go over my skills, background, and job preferences. Within a week of the interview she had three positions ready for me. I interviewed with them also, and it went so well that two of them offered me a job the next week. I really appreciated her expediency and assistance. I definitely would work with them again! I also appreciate that they offer assessments and online training programs for free ! read more

I have built my fairly short, but storied administrative career through the use of Staffing companies. Of all the staffing agencies I have been employed by, Office Team has to be the best one yet. Office Team's network of clientele is made up of quality businesses with great working environments. I am currently assigned at the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters (aka Carpenters Union), and so far, this has been the most positive experience I have had working through a staffing service. I enjoy my job, my coworkers are the best, there is a daily supply of malasadas, and my supervisors really respect the people at Office Team. In today's economy, respect is hard to come by. I believe Office Team's ability to gain the trust of their clients starts with their high level of standard they place on their employees. From the start, Office Team's recruiting process is fairly easy, provided you have Internet access and an email account. A lot of the hiring procedures are done online. The rainforests and Mother Earth thank you, Office Team. Yes, from W-2 forms to signing your John Hancock, it can all be done without the use of papers. After getting hired, I was introduced to the Robert Half app. Two things about this app: 1) Easy to use. 2) Convenient. It is like having Office Team's HR office in the palm of my hand. I can clock in and out of my shift from my phone and getting paid has never been easier. To be quite honest, I have never stepped into Office Team's actual office since getting hired. With the Robert Half app, who needs to come down to the office? The app makes Life so much more easier for me. Technology Rocks!!! In getting my first assignment, I must say the recruiters were very diligent in helping me find the right position. I worked with Nathan Whitaker to get the Carpenters Union job, and he was very supportive and he boosted my confidence before the interview. It is not just Nathan who played a supporting role in my success; the recruiters really epitomize the company's namesake. They all worked as a team to get me where I wanted to be in the administrative field. Would I recommend a friend to work for Office Team? Heck yes! I do not refer very often, but Office Team is one of those companies that I want to spread the word about. They are truly an exceptional staffing service. Thank you Office Team! read more

Having been with OfficeTeam off & on since 2011, I can honestly report that Robert Half's team of employment specialists are dedicated to matching candidates with great jobs. Nathan Whitaker and his team in the Honolulu office prove it with every assignment, and live up to my high expectations. I've never met a greater group of committed professionals! Every-time I've been between permanent jobs, I've turned to OfficeTeam and Nathan, and they come through with great assignments! I've met some wonderful people through my temporary assignments with them. read more

Aloha Yelpers! I just want to share my amazing experience with the Honolulu OfficeTeam. I was referred by a friend so I stopped by the office to complete an application and meet the team. Everyone was very friendly and professional and helped me right away. I met with Kenji & Nathan who helped place in the career field that I was looking for and the turnaround time was unexpected. Kenji called me back within 3 days of visiting the office and I was interviewed the next day and I've been with my company for about 6 months now and was recently offered a permanent position. I want to thank everyone from OfficeTeam for the aloha that they've shared! Special thanks to Nathan, Kenji, Melissa, Amy, and Alyssa! You are truly helpful and I will definitely recommend you to everyone! - Lillie read more

Aloha! I have been an employee at Office Team since January 2013. Unlike other temporary agencies on the island, they have always kept me busy. Another great perk about being with Office Team is their online timesheet. It was great not having to fax or personally submit a timesheet. I always submitted my timesheet on Friday and always got paid the following Tuesday. Nathan was my contact at Office Team and he always looked out for me. The other staff members - Kenji, Melissa and Amy always had me covered as well. If Nathan was not available, the other staff members would help me with whatever I needed. In a couple of days I will become a permanent employee at the assignment where I am currently working. I feel that by working with my present employer as a temporary, they were able to see how I work and how I interacted with other employees. This gave me a definite advantage over other candidates when my position became available within my current company. Office Team never let me down. If you want to work with a great agency that will keep you busy and look out for you, you should definitely call OFFICE TEAM!!!!! read more

5 +++ STARS! OFFICE TEAM & ROBERT HALF INTERNATIONAL are excellent! I turned to the office team "TEAM" after applying for numerous jobs in Honolulu, Oahu. Within two days I was working part-time at an Insurance Company. After one week and proving myself and showing my dedication to the company and the Office Team Staff my hours were increased. Also my assignment was extended by 2 months. I am overjoyed with the hard work and effort put in to help me find WORK! THANK YOU OFFICE TEAM! MAHALO NUI LOA! read more

PROS: I have had pretty decent job placement with Office Team in the past (Nashville and Honolulu Offices). They do a good job at finding placement in a timely manner. Hoping to have to same luck with them after I relocate to California, personnel from the Carlsbad office has already gotten in touch with me. CONS: Having a horrible experience with the Honolulu office trying to get my name changed in the system, since it won't let me do it online. I left a voicemail over a month ago, the the voicemail greeting ended with "Someone will probably call you back". Probably? So yes, no one called me back. I then sent an email with my request, with a couple of legal documents attached, so they could change my name. That was 3 weeks ago or so. I on the phone right now with them, and the representative on the phone has some serious work to do with her customer service approach. Oh, and I've been on hold forever. All I wanted to do was change my last name. read more

Accountemps has been great with helping me find employment opportunities within my academic field, has a good support system for recording time, viewing paystubs, and their representatives do an excellent job following up with me on a regular basis to gauge how the work experience is going. I would recommend anyone that is serious about finding the position meant just for you. They have an uncanny way to really match you well. My recruiter, Judy N., even continued to confirm my happiness with choice well after the 1st week. I found that very comforting. They will work with you on evaluations and interviews to avoid the traffic and horrors of finding a park in town with taking your evaluations from the comfort of your own home and even using Skype for interviews. Anyone familiar with travel to and visiting downtown Honolulu knows this is a blessing. So give it a try, you will be extremely happy with the results. Peggy Z read more

After spending a few months trying to find a job on my own I went to Robert Half. Nathan and Kea were friendly, helpful, and professional. They followed up frequently by phone and email and made me feel they were working hard to place me. Nathan helped me revamp my resume and gave me a boost of confidence I needed. Within days they found me a great job with a non-profit. I don't understand how some of the other reviewers had such different experiences from my own. Everyone I met there was super helpful and encouraging. By the way, before going to Robert Half I submitted my resume to Altres, Manpower, Staffing Solutions, and Olsten and NOT ONE of them ever followed up with me. The people at Robert Half were a breath of fresh air. read more

I absolutely love how Lizzie, from the Honolulu office, took the time to virtually interview me while I was away and was open to meeting me in person when I got to the island! She was extremely instrumental in making sure I join a company with shared values and one that compliments my career growth! As a non-Hawai'i resident, my job search was rather daunting ;/ I had been in touch with countless recruiters but Lizzie topped the list! I couldn't recommend her enough and I would happily use RH services because of her! Within a month of arriving, she was able to send me leads (some which I liked and some which I passed), yet she remained patient with me and eventually sent me leads for a company I now work with. I love my team and I'm excited about my role and opportunities for growth. A BIG thank you to Robert Half, and thank you Lizzie for making my job search less stressful than it may have been! You've been such a blessing!!! read more

Robert Half's team of employment specialists are dedicated to matching candidates with great jobs. This is the second staffing agency that I have worked with and I believe that Accountemps is the best one by far. If your looking for work I wouldn't waste anytime going to other agencies I would highly recommend you contact them first. You won't regret it. Awesome team! read more

If you are in between jobs or have taken a break after graduating from college consider Office Team. Their staff is friendly and personable, but most importantly they work hard to ensure that you are a good fit for the assigned work. Both Drew Honda and M.J. are excellent in conveying that they care about both your personal and professional success. Drew was especially helpful in calling me personally to find out how I was doing on my assignment. insulting and degrading. They were late for the interview. End of story. I would not recommend my worst enemy! They do not tell you parking is a minimum of $20.00 plus. OUCH!!! I would consider Robert Half and their team to be very professional and prompt. Based on the negative feedback below, it's safe to assume the individuals were not placed. I hope they come to realize that not everyone is placeable and its only the responsibility of the recruiter to get you an interview and your job to get land the position. I have a lot of respect for Robert Half and would recommend them for executive and direct hire placement. read more

Love Office Team! When I was a permanent employee, we would utilize Office Team and they would always send over quality associates. Nathan answers emails promptly and is always available to assist in every way. They are very professional and reliable. I was employed by Office Team off and on for about a year while I was going to school. I really liked that they continuously kept in touch with me and made sure to call me after each first day at a new temp job. I worked mostly with Melissa, but Kenji and Nathan also kept me in mind for open positions and I really appreciated that. I told them how important it was for me to work with non-profits and they did try their best to find me what I was looking for. I also truly appreciate that Melissa kept me in mind when a position came up at a company that I really wanted to work for. It took a bit of faith to even get the temp job, and I was only at that company for 10 days, but it opened a wonderful door for me that eventually led to a permanent position in the department that I wanted. It was such a great experience and I really appreciate them for listening, their patience, and for all of their hard work and support! I have had a very successful experience with Robert Half Finance & Accounting. I started out on the temporary side of the agency and was placed in a position very quickly at a pay rate I was happy with. I decided to go back when I was ready to find a full time position, and started working with Liesl Bernard about six years ago. I immediately connected with her, she was honest and encouraging, and seemed genuinely interested in finding me a position that I fit in. I stayed over two years in my first role, and went back to Liesl when I was ready for something new. She also found me my current role, helping me to transition out of one career field and into another. She has always presented me with a variety of options, and I have always been able to chose the opportunities that most appealed to me. It seems some of the other reviewers do not understand that recruiting is a business. I understand that the agency makes money from placing me, but they are also providing me an invaluable(and free!) service by taking the legwork and the uncertainty out of finding a job. read more

I've hired Office Team for "Temp." work many times now and I gotta say, the guys really make you feel like they care about your business. My 1st point of contact was Drew Honda. He made it very easy to understand how hiring a "Temp." all works. The 2nd point of contact was Allie Garcia. She is always checking in with me to see how the employees are doing, how satisfied I am, and if I need help in other types of services. The candidates they hire are very high caliber, unlike the ones you find on most of your job postings. They are all very professional. Although i'm not using any employees at the moment, she is always sending me a weekly email bulletins and calls me monthly to see how i'm doing. She is the absolute best!!! By far, the most professional temp agency I worked with in Hawaii! When I decided to go back to work after being a stay at home mom, I didn't know where to start. I went to several temp agencies, with some treating my decision to stay home very negatively. When I met with Allie, she was encouraging, friendly, and professional. Her and her team introduced themselves to me and made themselves available when I called or emailed. Drew called me with each job he found that matched my description. I would definitely go back when I'm looking for work again! Mahalo! read more
