Tax laws change constantly, so you need professionals, who care about your successes. There's a team at CS Accounting and they always give you the best service, at the most economical cost.... No matter how busy they are, they still call to remind you about upcoming tax or payroll deadlines.... We honestly wouldn't still be in business today, which we'll make nearly 20 years, if it weren't for Stephen and Matt and the team. And more importantly, we wouldn't have the financial peace of mind. That is priceless.

Someone I know suggested these folks to me so I contacted them to see how they might be able to simplify my life. Everything went OK until they dropped the ball on something and I had to complain to get the problem solved, but I tried to be professional about it. Sanjay's reaction was so scripted and over the top I would have laughed if it didn't tick me off so much. He said he felt threatened by me, which is a classic HR tactic to shut down dissent. Also that they already put a lot of time into me for free. What? I'm a potential new customer who needs to know what you have to offer before I decide to do business with you. Your job is to impress me in a process otherwise known as sales. I owe you nothing. They probably do a good job otherwise but you would have to like their style. I wouldn't expect great treatment of my employees, though, if they can't manage it when the owner who pays the bills expresses some small amount of dissatisfaction. It used to be that very small businesses could only find affordable insurance rates by going through one of these PEOs, but that is no longer true. Laws have changed and there are less expensive options now. So I'm back to doing everything myself, but with the help of standalone apps for payroll and HR, and that keeps it all manageable.

I moved back to HI in the ending of 2019 and started…read morelooking for work in January 2020 with the job fair at Neal Blaisdell Center when I met and stayed in contact with the recruiter throughout the pandemic. Which I thought was unusual because with other temp agencies, this was never the case. In several attempts with getting me back to work in 2020, with no such luck as the hiring companies also had to pull back positions. And even during all of this, when I did get an "internship" through another entity to acquire technical experience because of the pandemic impact, I needed Aerotek/Aston Carter to provide a letter stating that the position I had applied for fell through. I received a call the same evening I requested such letter at 8 pm. This blew me away as I expected this process would take days or weeks for me to get a response but this wasn't the case. In January 2021 after my internship was completed, I took a week off to before restarting the job hunt. But instead, I got a call from Aston Carter asking if I was available. The job? Patient Service Representative at the mass-Covid Vaccination site at Pier 2! And honestly folks, when the news first came out about this event a few days prior, I knew I wanted to be part of this historic occasion, so my answer was a resounding YES! I wanna help. For the 6-months that I worked at Pier 2, the Aston Carter Account Manager was there, every morning before we started at 7 am. He was always available for us as well as the hosting company. Three-months into the gig, the hosting company allowed us to apply for positions with them. It took me a while to decide as I really enjoyed working with the people at the Pier. As things started to slow down at the Pier, I made the decision to start apply for a position with the hosting company which wasn't hard to do as managers and supervisors from the hosting company were actively recruiting new hires at the Pier. When it came to professional recommendations, our Aston Carter Account Manager was there for each and everyone of us, quickly responding to the hosting company's surveys. And although I am happily employed full-time with the hosting company, this Account Manager allows us to keep in contact with him and responding to messages within an hour. As far as benefits, Aston Carter provided the best and I got my health, vision and dental benefits as soon as I started. No waiting period like other contract agencies. I am thankful to all the team members I have been in contact with at Aston Carter, for all the professional help and advise they have given. As well as their quick response and friendly attitude and genuinely wanting to see me and my co-workers succeed.
