Not as popular as some of the other staffing agencies on-island so the amount of available work is not as much. Shifts get taken quickly and it's fairly competitive for the better employers. You may not get enough hours to be considered part- or full-time. This agency is better for per diem, on-call, or temp work while you're transitioning professionally. Parking also sucks at their main downtown location. read more

Definitely worth a try! After a frustrating few months of endless applications with no call backs I accidentally applied for a job thru Remedy. What a surprise! They were prompt, professional and really took the time to fit my wants and needs with a position that I both feel comfortable with as well as pay my bills. I've experienced a few other staffing companies only to be ghosted or sent to a job I didn't want so the staffing company makes their numbers. Remedy is DIFFERENT. Thank you Natasha and Shamir, you guys really helped and did the stressful part of job hunting for me. read more

Great Company to help find jobs that fits you. I've used them in the pass and but great results. Everyone you meet in the office or on the phone are super friendly. This is the only agency I will refer you to. Great Job! read more

After being assigned to some "long term projects" that ended prior to the due date, it gets harder to retain the faith. At first I thought the world of Remedy Staffing. However, it makes me wonder about the projects they give me. I remember when a project ended suddenly, Beth said, "that's the way the cookie crumbles". That does not help me at all. It does not make me feel good at all. So this makes me think. I'm still attached to this agency. However, they did not reach out to me about jobs I applied through their website. Personally, I don't like temporary projects because of the future uncertainty. But that's what they have. read more

Their motto is they try to get you placed in a job in 3-5 days. Being that unemployment is at an all time low now that bodes well that they could stick to their motto. I was unemployed for about 2 months and they could not find any potential employers for me, even after the 1st month when I told them I was flexible and to broaden their base of suitable employers. Fast forward 2 months and I Found a job on my own. The only positive thing that came from trying them is that they were able to find me some temp work while I was unemployed which I can still do on my down time read more

Thank you so much to Chantelle and the rest of the Remedy Staff! I was having a hard time finding a job when I moved to Oahu from California but within a week of reaching out to Remedy I got a job! It was temp to hire but after a month and a half I am now a permanent hire at a good job! All thanks to Chantelle and Remedy Intelligent Staffing! read more

Your girl is working her first real job thanks to Remedy Intelligent Staffing! Funny story, really. I went to the job fair at the Blaisdell, which I should honestly review because I thought it was pretty awful. I remember telling my mom how mad I was for going because there were absolutely no job prospects for me. However, I got a call a day or two later from Remedy because we had briefly met when I passed their booth at the fair. They followed up really quickly, which at the time was surprising, but in hindsight was probably a really good thing. We chatted about what I was looking for and they said they'd look out for me and introduce me to any jobs they thought I might be interested in. I did at first end up working at a community college bookstore thanks to them, but it was great because it was easy and I was happy to make some money while I continued my hunt for a full time job. Fast forward a bit, and Remedy introduced me to the place I work at now. They got me an interview, and about a week after my interview I started with this company. I'm really happy with where I'm at and who knows where I would've been without their help! I'm very grateful. When I think about it, I'm still surprised, to be honest! read more

Wow Remedy Intelligent Staffing with only 2 stars? I've had such a great experience with them I just had to write a review. I have been with Remedy for a LONGGGGGGGGGG time now. While I am no longer temping through them, I have been one of many have have been successfully placed and have been picked up through a company. I have been a temporary employee through them, a temp to hire (meaning the company has you on a trial period and if they like you they hire you permanently) and a direct hire (employer pays Remedy to find a qualified employee for their open position). When I first went in, I met with staff to interview, took some standard test (typing, word and excel) and waited to be placed. I was always presented with different options and didn't feel pressured to take a job opportunity that wasn't for me. When I think about it they have actually placed me at my 3 jobs after college. When a company wasn't doing so well, I was let go and Remedy quickly found me something else, something better. Being in HR I can appreciate that they take the time to make sure the applicants are qualified and competent. While applicants feel it is a pain to take the tests, it actually helps me a lot. Remedy is a great company with friendly staff. When I have called or emailed I always receive quick and efficient service. I know if I ever needed anything I could always go there for help. They're located in the Ala Moana area and their office is pretty. I like that they never make an applicant pay to be placed with a company. Tip: Let them see who you are and what you can offer so that they can place you correctly. Trust them, they know what they are doing. 31 yelps ~20/31 read more

Remedy is one of the best Temporary to hire service I've ever been a part of. They care about you, your needs and what best fits you and your experiences/goals. I've been with Remedy for a few years now and all I have to say about them is they are 100% on top of things when you need to be placed to work., So far they have given me jobs that best fit me which I was very happy to be there and they are very understanding when it comes down to your not comfortable with the work environment your in. I'm very happy and would definitely recommend anyone who needs an office or customer service position to them. They will always be my source for work when I need it. Thank you Remedy the most awesome Temp service ever I'll always use their services they are a warm and welcoming company. Thank you Dyshell read more

I answered an ad from Hawaiijobsengine.com not knowing I was submitting my application to a staffing agency. Ugh. Remedy and Staffing Solutions constantly spam that site and Craigslist to draw in job seekers so they have a large pool of applicants to pick and choose from. That's annoying. Anyway, I got called in to talk with everyone there, did their standard tests (in their computer room which was FREEZING), got a call or two after, and no job placement. While I understand they can't place everyone, I didn't hear anything from them after that. Even now when I email the contact I have there, nothing. No communication whatsoever even when I initiate contact. Not cool. read more

I signed up with them 6 months ago. Haven't heard back since besides one phone call offering a job that didn't fall within my availability. Kind of a pointless agency if they can't seem to find me anything... read more

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is a strong team who can staff your every need. Everyone is friendly, incredibly reliable, and patient. They seem to know exactly where you would be a great fit, so if you are in need of a job, you can definitely go through them. It was wonderful working with them in finding a temporary fit for myself. From my personal experience, everyone is professional and friendly. They can accommodate all requests, from a temporary job for this amount of time to a temp-to-hire job, and I feel comfortable enough sharing information with them knowing that they will put it to good use. If you are a recent college graduate and unsure of where to go or someone recently laid off or just someone in search of a job, this is a wonderful team to turn to. They will be able to staff you efficiently and without problems. read more

Do not waste your time with this employment agency. After being told in the interview that they "strive to place you within 1 to 5 days" I was very disappointed to later be told "we are not a placement agency and cannot guarantee you will be working within [time frame]." Excuse me, but without PEOPLE you have nothing to offer your clients. When I am hired, you receive your fee. So I would think when someone highly qualified comes to you saying they want to work immediately and makes it clear that their job preferences are flexible, you would do your best to find something immediately. I got so fed up with them, I went to a competitor. And they offered four jobs the same day I met them. read more

Great company. Not sure if it was by luck or chance but I was able to find a position in a previous company I worked for in my home state. I was then able to move on to an even better company after about a year with them. I owe a lot to staffing companies, they really allow you to get your "foot in the door" and the rest is up to you. read more

I would definitely recommend Remedy to a friend or family member! After having a hard time finding a job after going to multiple interviews for several years. i decided to turn to an employment agency although it wasn't an easy decision on my part as i just felt like giving up. The staff at Remedy really made me feel comfortable and made sure to discuss with me options based on what i wanted from a job. They got me a job offer within the amount of time they stated. Throughout my time working with this employment agency they never failed to answer any questions i had via email or by phone. read more

I started a journey with Remedy Intelligent Staffing when I moved to Oahu. The entire office staff rallied around me and my changing needs during my first year on island. From temporary jobs to seeking permanent positions the agency listened and kept me on alert to help fulfill my placement needs. Their passion for the job and the people they come in contact with shows. For companies looking to find employees, there is no doubt they will find the perfect placement. To those seeking to find their long term career, a part time job or supplemental income with a temporary jobs, then this is the staffing agency to immediately contact. Remedy Intelligent Staffing is an amazing company to work with. I worked closely with Beth and she is absolutely amazing. Friendly Staff, very helpful and reliable. Beth set up an interview with a company that ended up being a perfect match. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Thank you for everything Remedy! I hope I will never have to use you personally again, but I do hope to send you people when they are in need! read more

Awesome staffing agency ! Their staff is very professional and courteous. I've worked with other agencies before and they just try to get you interviews anywhere doing something irrelevant and end up wasting your time. During my personal experience with Remedy I felt like the placement staff really listened to me and my career goals. I got interviews with different amazing companies with great pay and benefits. Unfortunately I was unable to take a position due to time conflict and took a job somewhere else. If I ever needed to work with an agency again it would be Remedy all the way! read more

They were able to place me at a great company a lot more quickly than what I expected. Every time I spoke with Chantelle, she was always able to answer my questions or point me to the right person. They definitely made the process a lot less stressful. I would recommend them without a doubt. Thank you so much for your help! read more

This agency treated me terribly and let two other temps get away with a lot of questionable activity. The owner, and her staff, ignored all of my concerns on multiple occasions. After my previous review on Yelp, the owner went so far as to call me to complain about my review. Leaving nasty voice mails to anyone with whom you've worked is not going to improve your service or win a more favorable rating. read more

This is not a company to work for. I signed up with them through Trim Ready and I was told by multiple people that I would get a full time wage. Remedy is the third staffing agency I've worked with on Oahu & I have nothing but positive things to say. I first went to Remedy in an effort to find a new job while still employed, and they found me a few opportunities right away. Their pre-employment processes are quick, easy and some can even be done at home, which is rare amongst staffing agencies. During my job search, I went on a vacation & the staff at Remedy was really understanding of my schedule. Unexpectedly, I found a new temp job on my own, and the staff at Remedy again was really understanding & told me to give them a call when this job is finished. If you're a competent & qualified individual looking for a suitable job, I would definitely recommend Remedy. Compared to other staffing agencies on Oahu, Remedy is hands down the best. And I haven't even been employed through them yet. read more

I am beyond grateful to Remedy Staffing for assisting me in my employment journey. Kristin, Kay and the entire staff are AMAZING! Remedy's staff is professional and efficient, but also are really, really nice people. I've worked with Kristin and Beth so far and they both have been really accommodation with my odd scheduling requests, for short term gigs and no Thursdays (I know...difficult...) and that I don't have much experience. I've worked several of the conventions, which, when chatting with temps from other agencies, seems like I've been better compensated for. I would highly recommend Remedy Intelligent Staffing. read more

I've had a great experience with Remedy on both sides of the spectrum. They have been diligent in their follow up/follow through and I appreciate the fact that their staff always seems to be so patient and friendly even when they are probably busy with everything under the sun. I cannot believe Remedy has received reviews with one star or even two. They deserve MUCH better than that! I met the staff from Remedy several years ago and the communication and follow up has always been outstanding. They kept in very close contact with me as I searched for job placements. I went out to interviews with a couple of different companies....no such luck but understood it was not a guarantee. That I just wasn't the right fit for those two jobs. The third interview I went out on turned out to be the right fit and one year later I am still extremely happy with my job and forever grateful to Kim from Remedy for thinking of me for this particular placement. It is very unfortunate that there are people who post such negative comments just because they weren't able to find the right placement. I have since referred several friends to Remedy and they too found great placements! Thanks Kim and Kristy!!! read more

Choosing Remedy Intelligent Staffing was the best choice made thus far. What can you expect? First of all, you will wait for about 5 to 10 minutes before being called into the interview room. Met with Kristen and Beth. Such a very pleasant and professional manner and interested in helping to find the right job. We went over resume and asked question back and forth to see what they are looking for as well as sharing with them my background. As we ended this part of the meeting, they finished up and told me that Kay would come in to sign paper work and give a pamphlet introduing me to Remedy. She did just that. Kay was great, caring and showed professionalism in presenting her part of HR paperwork. That was about a half hour from beginning to end. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. Even on the phone, they sound like they cared and wanted to help. In person, it shows they really care. Thank you Kristen, Beth and Kay for an Excellent Job!! I look forward to getting the job they have planned. Aloha Remedy Intelligent Staffing. read more

As an employer, you should be confident that you're getting qualified candidates from a staffing agency, especially if you're paying out of pocket for these candidates. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. After terminating the first candidate I hired, due to lack of initiative and poor performance, I was assured the next candidate I was provided would be great for the position. I interviewed them as before, and they seemed a good fit however, after a few weeks it was clear that the position was not good fit, again. The position was a sales position however, the candidates did not consistently meet goals and lacked the ability to obtain required licenses. These candidates were clearly given the position requirements and both agreed that they could meet or exceed the goals required of the position. Since using Remedy, I have moved to posting my positions on a local job website and have received a much better response and have benefited by hiring two qualified candidates. A word to the wise if you are an employer, be very clear and concise in the job requirements and setting expectations. Not only for a staffing agency but for he candidates themselves. Be very picky, do NOT SETTLE for less that what the position requires! It will cost you financially and emotionally. I will take a little of the blame here for not knowing what I didn't know going into using a staffing agency, which includes not making it EXTREMELY clear what my requirements were for the position. That said, Remedy should read this and take some advise to be proactive and do a better job of getting to the details of what an employer is looking for, then ensuring their screening process matches a qualified candidate for a specific position. read more

I was formerly an employee of Remedy Staffing. When I was hired for a position I was told and have an email saying that after a month of working I would have an increase in my pay. When this didn't occur I questioned Remedy. Kim, the human resource manager was argumentative and unprofessional with me on the phone, she tried to put words in my mouth, was back pedaling her words and was telling me things that were completely different from what I was told . Be careful who you do business with. Instead of trying to solve the issue, they have not followed through with this matter and have not had the courtesy to call me. I will never do business with this company again. read more

Remedy is the ONLY staffing agency I am signed with because they're so professional, courteous, and warm. Unlike other agencies, they treat me as an equal, rather than the process being like a cattle call. They really make efforts to place me in jobs I am well suited for and are very understanding if I feel a job isn't right for me. I have had some temp jobs from them that were really fun. Their pay rate also tends to be a bit higher than some of the other agencies. I highly recommend them. read more
