After calling around to other local orthodontic offices, I found comparable replacement retainers for nearly half the cost, and overall pricing differences that can amount to thousands of dollars for similar services. I've had orthodontic care at other offices in the past, including a more affordable practice in Novato (now retired) and Wilson, and the quality of results was the same. Unfortunately, this office now feels far more expensive than others offering comparable care. While the staff and outcomes have been ok, the pricing no longer feels competitive or reflective of long-standing patient relationships. I would encourage prospective patients to compare pricing with other offices before committing. Also, most advanced offices offer scanners instead of molds, so much more precise! And now if one loses retainer the can use scan avoiding costly old fashion mold replacement. Probably no good for $ for dentist but great for patients!

It took 1.5 months to get my first introductory cleaning + x-ray exam due to him being so busy. But, I now understand why he is so well-liked and highly requested. The dental hygienists and staff were so welcoming and friendly. They made me at peace the whole time. Somehow, my hygienist was able to clean my "6-year old" teeth in 1 hour... I could feel and see the difference instantly! It was amazing. Dr. Chui is a warm, friendly and thorough dentist. His office is equipped with the latest technology. While I was lying in the chair, I was able to see the exact teeth he was referencing and talking about via a large computer monitor hanging from the roof which was connected to a livestream camera... so awesome! Dr. Chui was able to show me on the screen where a cavity was forming and how I was grinding/clenching my teeth down. I could clearly see the uneven borders and enamel and even hairline cracks in my teeth through the screen images. I assume I have been doing this for years but Dr. Chui is the first dentist to go out of his way to educate me on this. While there, I even decided to purchase a custom-mold dental guard. This product is offered by Dr. Chui's office. Dr. Chui had two options to choose from and even insisted I purchase the more economical option to see if I utilized the guard enough before purchasing the more expensive one. He was upfront, honest and not "pushy" in any regard. In two hours at Dr. Chui's office, I learned more about dental hygiene and my own teeth structure then I had learned ever before. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chui and his staff to anyone in the area looking for a well-mannered, thorough and friendly dental office.

Before we went to Japan I broke a tooth - nothing dramatic, just eating dinner (rice, meat, cooked vegetables). Dr. Donesky was able to see me, put a temporary crown on my tooth so I could fly and eat my heart out on my trip. He asked me to visit the lab so they could do an exact color match on my teeth (this is what I mean when I say he wants any work he does to look natural) When I returned from my trip, the crown was ready. My temporary held up so well I was able to fly and eat normally. When the new crown was placed, the temporary was so stuck on my tooth - I appreciated that because it afforded me stability despite being a temporary crown. Rebecca, Dr. Doneskys' assistant is so kind. I enjoy our conversations (I am a nervous patient) and she is so knowledgeable about the hidden gems in Marin. Felicia at the front desk is so good with submitting my insurance claims even if my insurance rejects it, I'm glad she at least attempts it. She also schedules me for days and times that work best for my life. When I come for my appointments, despite the usual dental nervousness, I do feel confident. lucky at cards, unlucky at love they say... i won't comment much one way or another about that,…read morebut based on the accuracy of this kind of old-truism I wonder if there's similar advice from wise ones who know about teeth. in my case, whatever it was i had to do to get lucky about dentistry i must have done so in spades. by that twisted opening i mean to say i've had virtually no problem with cavities or root canals (whatever they are) or implants or much of anything. i also seem to be blessed, whatever that means, with luck when it comes to finding parking places in big cities, i mean like they're just always where and when i need them. others have noticed and can confirm this. so it was a bit of a shock when my regular dentist, Judy Husen who is excellent by the way, announced in a gentle voice recently that you know there's like a little problem in the very back with one of your upper molars, a crack has developed and inside something evil is developing. it's not cancer or heart disease or senility but why not address the problem sooner than later, eh? at this point I needed a bit of time to get used to this idea of losing one of my oldest friends, but then I asked for recommendations, someone who could do what was needed with as little discomfort as possible. that's how I wound up contacting Dr. Mynesberge. to cut this typically overwritten review shorter, i'll end it by the best i can say about his work: tooth was gone while i was somewhere else thanks to some combination of wonder-drugs, and to my amazement there was not a bit of after effect, no swelling, no pain, no problem.
