We are from out of the area and needed a Orthodontist for an irgent matter of removing our…read moredaughters braces. We can not thank Dr.Haney and his receptionist Alyssa for working out the details to help make it happen. Dr. Haney was very professional and from our brief interaction you can see he has a very kind, generous, loving heart! THANK YOU HANEY ORTHODONTIST!!!!

I regret choosing this orthodontist. What a nightmare!…read more Dr. Haney recommended Invisalign to close a small gap between my teeth in preparation for a bridge. I was told the treatment would take about two years and cost approximately $8,500. I followed the instructions carefully from 2021 to 2023. I wore my aligners day and night, attended all required appointments, and paid the full amount through the office's progress billing system. Unfortunately, the treatment was not completed successfully. When I moved from California to Oregon in late 2023, a new orthodontist evaluated my treatment progress and determined that the Invisalign treatment had not actually finished correcting the spacing between my teeth. In order to complete the work, I had to undergo additional orthodontic treatment and pay approximately $2647 out of pocket to the new orthodontist to finish what the original treatment was intended to accomplish. When I contacted Dr. Haney about this, he initially declined ANY responsibility. After further communication and with the help of Invisalign Corp. he later stated he would send $847 toward the additional cost and asked for my mailing address. I provided it, but the payment was never sent as he failed to uphold his promise to me. At this point, the additional orthodontic treatment I had to undergo represents duplicative costs for work that should have been completed under the original treatment plan: $2,647. After multiple attempts to resolve the matter privately, I received no further response. Because the issue remains unresolved, I have filed a formal complaint with the California Dental Board. I would still prefer to resolve this matter professionally. If reimbursement for the additional treatment costs is provided, I will update this review to reflect that the issue was addressed. If you are seeing this message, it was never addressed!!!

Everyone in the office is kind and professional. I feel fortunate to have a local dentist I can trust, and feel the work suggested is always essential and is done well.

I never write Yelp reviews, but my experience here made me feel compelled to do so!…read moreAbout two or three years ago I purchased the Invisalign program from Dentistry of Fairfax to the tune of almost $5k in order to correct my bite and slow/stop gum recession in a part of my mouth. I have been a customer of Dentistry of Fairfax for OVER 30 years. Makenna Vierck bought the practice and I did at least two check ups with her and one "emergency" visit where it was suggested I have one of my wisdom teeth removed - which I did at a separate and very expensive place they recomended. Recently they suggested I have another wisdom tooth removed, and when I went to the new dentist to have this done, they discovered that a) the xrays supplied by Dentistry of Fairfax were not done correctly. When they were redone, he found I need to have a specialist do the removal due to the proximity of the root to my nasal passage. b) he informed me that the Invisalign was not done properly and the wear patterns indicated the whole process did nothing to help my problem. Of course I informed Dr. Viercks office of this, and when I went in for my LAST cleaning recently, the doctor brushed by me in the lobby - she obviously heard I was considering going to a different dentist because of all this - no hello, not a single attempt to fix the problem or offer any advice on anything to help. After the cleaning I asked the people in the office if they have anything to offer that might keep me coming back after all this. Basically. they shrugged their shoulders - said they understood my frustration and said they would talk to the doctor. Since then crickets... You would think they might have told me the invalign procedure didn't help and needs to be re-done, or got a complete xray and recognized the other problem - but they didn't. Sad after over 30 years with the same office. In a nutshell I would suggest finding a dentist that actually cares about your oral health - and not just the money, which is exactly the way I felt as I walked out of there for the last time.
