Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. This is an update 5 years later after my rhinoplasty with Dr. Diaz where I still love my nose!…read more Due to the asymmetries in my face and thickness of skin, the final healed results were at about 99% of what I expected. I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! Absolutely nothing to do with his amazing expertise or the amazing team. If you have any concerns, please call the office directly rather than leave a negative review out of emotion, trust me it's a win-win and also a practice of self love!

At my first visit, Barbie welcomed me immediately, and she's just lovely. I truly feel taken care of. She took me to her office and introduced me to Dr. Jimmy Firouz. Dr. Firouz is amazing; he listens to every concern and question I have. What I like most is that he wasn't pushy about sales. I have some specific areas I'm concerned about, like buccal fat removal and nasolabial folds. Still, he told me, "No, you don't need that, but if it bothers you, there's another alternative"--something I appreciate the most. Long story short, I decided to move forward with Dr. Firouz. Every time I visit his office, he reassures me that I'm in good hands and tells me not to worry because this is a very important decision for me. It's my first time having such major procedures, so I truly value his reassurance. The location is very convenient, right in the city center. From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

I'm only one month post op but I am loving my results!!!! I am so glad i had the strength to go through the surgery. I get major panic attacks and back out on a lot of things but not once did I have any hesitation. One of his patients posted about suffering from panic attacks. It was a very honest post that really calmed me. It even gave me strength. I thought, if she can do it so can I. The staff was so chipper on surgery day. It made me relax. I thought to myself how could I be nervous when this is just a normal Monday for them. You can tell they love being in the OR. I can't wait to see the 3 month post op results. The anesthesiologist told me he was going to give me something to relax then what felt like a few seconds they were waking me up to tell me I was in recovery and the surgery went well! Go figure! I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation, arm and flank lipo. Daria recommended I stay at an aftercare facility for two nights and I am so glad I did. That played a huge role for having such a speedy recovery. I was able to start walking on day two. I also elected for 2 hyperbaric oxygen sessions. Out of all the procedures I would say the breast augmentation was the most challenging because I'm still a little sore. The tummy tuck is a breeze especially if you've had a C section. All in all, I could NOT have achieved this without Dr J and his team. They had to hold my hand for the entire process. I had 10 questions per day the two weeks following surgery and I received an email as well as a follow up phone call each day to have all my questions addressed. Thank you Dr J, Daria, Alex, Dr Sha, Jeanette, Érica, the nurse who had a huge Diamond rock who placed my IV catheter. She was super sweet too! OOPS! I completely forgot to mention how incredible Dr J's bedside manner is!!! I interviewed 4 doctors and he knocked it out of the park with his comforting demeanor! That was the main reason I ultimately chose him besides his incredible photos!

Doctor J and anesthesiologist never check on me when I was unconscious under anesthesia (for I don't know how long ) and my nose was getting damaged-BURNED while being facing down ! ITS SO UNFAIR! ... ITS being almost a year that this happened and I'm still getting treatments somewhere else to repair the damages! stay away from this place! they paid for some treatments but not all, I am paying by myself because they don't answer and I still have to get nose surgery because I can't breathe well, nostrils are super narrow after this happened . As…read morea medical student looking to go into aesthetic medicine myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a provider that I truly trust. Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated. She also has no problem with saying no, which I think is one of the greatest traits an injector can have, and always follows up with a thorough explanation of her rationale in a way that is easily digestible. I've been going to her for over 3 years now for Dysport in different parts of my face as well as my traps, have had zero complications, and have loved how natural my results have been every time. I moved up to Norcal a year ago, but still fly down every 4-5 months to see her. Furthermore, in March, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I made the mistake of getting a touch-up with someone else in NorCal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because their approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right, as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she immediately noticed the imbalance in my face and explained the exact technique she would use to address it, aligning directly with my goals and remembering them. I walked away from this appointment feeling incredibly grateful for her and beyond excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. All in all, I could not recommend Angella more. She is a true artist and gem in the world of aesthetic medicine, and she's made me feel so confident in myself.

I started my consultation journey about five months after my twins were born and I was about 30 pounds heavier than my usual weight. Dr. Zarrabi was not only incredibly thorough during the consult but SO SO honest. He was the only surgeon who showed me how I would look if I went into the procedure being heavier than my ideal weight. When asked if I was happy with how I would look if we did the procedure now, I said no. Dr. Zarrabi was the only surgeon who was honest encourage me to try to get to my goal weight before proceeding with surgery. He was also the only surgeon to advise me that I had muscle separation in my stomach which needed repair. One year and 40 pounds later, I had my mommy makeover a week ago. Dr. Zarrabi spent hours with me in multiple pre-op appointments when I couldn't decide if I wanted a breast lift or a lift with implants. Him and his staff also continuously checked in on me prior to my surgery, knowing how anxious I was because I had never gone under anesthesia. On behalf of my wife (Dr. Applebaum's patient) and myself, I cannot say enough great things about the doctor and his entire staff! After considering it for a number of years, my wife had breast reduction surgery in October, 2019 with Dr. Applebaum. He reduced her from an "H" cup to a "C", and she looks amazing! She said the post operative pain was really not bad and her recovery went very well. Now, she is overjoyed with the results and says she should have done it years earlier! After that, a tummy tuck surgery was planned for mid 2020 but, for numerous reasons, had to be postponed twice. Each time, Dr. Applebaum was extremely kind and accommodating in rescheduling. There was never any pressure to have the surgery; the doctor was only interested in my wife's overall health. She finally had the tummy tuck at the end of March. Again, Dr. Applebaum and his staff (Nicole, Amethyst, etc.) were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful! We live approximately one hour away from Beverly Hills, so we decided to stay in a local hotel the night before and the night of surgery. Since Dr. Applebaum wanted to see my wife the day after the operation, he offered to come to our hotel room so we wouldn't have to come in to the office! I couldn't believe any doctor today would actually do that! It's just the way Dr. Applebaum runs his whole practice, going above and beyond expectations! Dr. Applebaum and his staff are incredible, helpful, intelligent, and personable. The office is run very professionally and smoothly. I scheduled Fractora, Facetite and Necktite procedures about 6 weeks out. Silvia handled all of the logistics and my multiple telephone calls. Dr. Applebaum reviewed my photos, spoke with me at length about the procedure, and he answered all of my questions. I had a previous consultation with Dr. Rispler, a great derm, who refers patients there as well. When I arrived, I wanted to have him assess if I could have additional surgery as well (ON my neck and eyes). He felt at this point in time, that the risks outweighed any benefits. He felt that the Facetite and Fractora would do exactly what I wanted which was to tighten and lift. This is amazing, as he is a trained plastic surgeon and loves to do facial surgery. He is highly skilled at what he does. I am now 5 days post op- I have adhered to his guidelines and am healing beyond any expectations that I had. I highly recommend Dr. Applebaum. I had breast reduction surgery in May, and I want to express how pleased I am with the wonderful and thorough care I have received from Dr. Applebaum. He is knowledgeable, experienced, confident, and kind. I knew from day one that I was in excellent hands with Dr. Applebaum, and that has been confirmed by the results of my surgery and on every follow-up visit to his office. He really cares about his patients and their specific needs. He is also realistic in explaining what is possible and what isn't. At 5 feet tall, 63 years of age, and a 36G, he said he could reduce me to a large C or small D, and that is exactly what he did. Everything is healing well, though it does take time. I feel and look so much better, I can stand up straighter, my back and neck pain have lessened, and I have many more clothing options than I did before. I came in to see Dr. Applebaum for a breast augmentation revision, my 3rd one to be exact. I had 450cc's put in about 8 years ago, they were massive not what I wanted, but at the time that's what my dr had recommended. After a few years I went to another dr to have my first implant revision and I went down to 350's. Still too big for my smaller frame. I finally went in to see Dr. Applebaum for a what I hoped to be my final procedure, and it was. Dr. Applebaum was very understanding of my concerns during the consultation and was the first doctor to notice that I had some asymmetry and suggested different implant size. At the time of the consultation I told him I wanted to go as small as possible without the need of a lift. He was able to give me the results I wanted, with smaller implants, different sizes for better asymmetry, without the scars of a breast lift. I love love looove my results! Dr Applebaum exceeded my expectations! From the first consultation he was great, I felt comfortable and had no fear. I was fortunate to be able to have my surgery two weeks later and couldn't have come sooner. The day of surgery was so relaxing and everyone was helpful, calming and so sweet. Recovery was a breeze and was on my way home before I knew it. I was told there would be minimal pain and honestly, it was discomfort but NEVER was I in pain. Two weeks now and I feel like a new woman! I've been in to see Dr Applebaum twice for follow up and he's been so supportive and kind. I purposely waited a year to write this review…read morebecause I can now testify that for a whole year since I had my facelift done, Dr. Cohen and his staff have been nothing but attentive to my needs. A lot of times you have great care givers, however this office raises the bar with wonderful comfort givers as well. This particular surgery is a marathon and not a sprint and I feel immense gratitude for the care before, during, and after the procedure. I had never had any cosmetic surgery and to say I was a bit trepidatious is an understatement. I mean, it's my face! I did extensive homework to find a board certified doctor by initially looking at The Aesthetic Society website. Also, I read some medical journals about facelifts (focusing on high SMAS) which gave me a good launch point before my first visit. And finally, I do admit I was hoping to find a Beverly Hills doctor NOT in Beverly Hills. When I went to see Dr. Cohen for a consultation, he repeated most of what I had researched and patiently answered all my questions and clarified any concerns which brought great comfort. This doctor is so amazingly knowledgeable and his passion for constantly learning and vetting new techniques spoke volumes to me. With all this talent, all the credentials, and the medical expertise to back it up, you would maybe expect to find this doctor a bit intimidating but nothing could be further from the truth. He is so genuinely personable. Dr. Cohen could be my new next door neighbor and I would happily throw the welcome party. This doctor truly listens to his patients. I told him I was interested in a re-fresh and not a re-do. I know he is very capable of the latter and there is nothing wrong with that choice if that is what a patient prefers but the former is more who I am. And he delivered. His in-office OR is impeccable and very convenient. Not having to go to a hospital was a big thumbs up for me. His anesthesiologist walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I was more worried about that part than the actual surgery due to past trauma with severe post surgery nausea. He told me I would wake up feeling like I had a nice long wonderful nap and I did. No issues whatsoever. Healing from a full facelift takes time and requires full patient participation. The doctor and his staff were so checked in making sure I was doing well and being there for whatever I needed. Instructions were very well explained before surgery. I had periodic follow-up visits which I really enjoyed partly due to the team atmosphere of the office. Dr. Cohen, Jill, Jaime, Natalie, Lorrie, Alex (and I know I'm missing a couple of other fabulous members), I can't thank all of you enough. They really helped give me a boost during those first few weeks and again highlights the comfort and care giver aspects I mentioned earlier. The post surgery care of being able to take advantage of the in-office spa which includes the miracle CO2 laser was a treat. I had it done during surgery and again a few months later. Highly recommend for a smooth texture especially if you have more mature skin. And I would highly recommend seeing Alex for post surgery lymphatic massage therapy. Dr. Cohen found a gem in her and she helped me so much to keep my swelling down, keep tissue loose, and keep bruising to a minimum. I know my healing time was much shorter because of her. Again, another team member whose superpower is comfort as well as care. The office has many more post care options to tailor to one's needs and I really appreciate how they can customize them to each patient. If anyone is on the fence about cosmetic surgery, I hope this review helps assuage any doubts. It is a big deal and should be thoughtfully considered. After three previous breast surgeries with highly regarded Beverly Hills surgeons and spending a great deal of money I was still left unhappy with my results. I honestly began to believe that after three surgeries, this was simply something I would have to accept. My previous surgeries also left me with very visible, dark, and noticeable scars, which made me even more self-conscious. After everything I had already been through, I was extremely concerned about having another lift and creating even more scarring. Then I found Dr. Teitelbaum. I came to him in my mid-fifties with very droopy DD breasts, small silicone implants, three previous lifts, and significant scarring. Eight weeks after my surgery with Dr. Teitelbaum, I am now a beautiful, natural C cup without implants. He removed my implants and used fat grafting from my back and waist, and the transformation is beyond anything I imagined possible. My breasts are perky, lifted, youthful, beautifully shaped, and incredibly natural. I truly feel as though he gave me the breasts of a young woman again. I am absolutely over the moon with my results. And the scars are unbelievable. I am only eight weeks out, yet the new lift incisions are already so thin, light, and beautifully placed that they are barely noticeable. Considering how visible and dark my scars were after my previous surgeries, the difference is remarkable. He listened to all of our issues and concerns. I had basically D or DD size breast saline implants subglandular, my natural breast tissue removed. I had them for 26 years. They had contracture. They were extremely uncomfortable in both size and feel. They didn't look horrible but I really needed them to be removed and replaced. I originally was an A size and the first implants surgery was done too large. I did not want that large of a size on my small frame. The doctor that did them first, took liberties to make them larger than I wanted. It was the 90's! In our consultation with Dr. Teitelbaum we discussed what was possible given the fact that we wanted to reduce the size A lot. He let us know what could be done to achieve the desired results. He did a truly beautiful job. I ended up with 210cc subglandular which were smaller than we thought possible at the time. They are more natural looking and feeling than I thought could be possible. I love the natural look! The left one is perfect with some raised scar tissue on the bottom. A small section of the right breast developed capsular contracture quickly. My husband and I went back to see Dr. Teitelbaum. He was concerned about what it would take to fix the problem. We had the surgery to replace the implant. It went well. In the future if I need something I will be going back to see Dr. Teitelbaum because we trust him. His nursing staff is top notch.
