Tons of vendors and some extremely delicious food being cooked on site - made to order - we really saw a bunch of things we wanted: breakfast burritos, breakfast pitas, boba, baked goods, wines, vinegar, etc. Everyone was friendly and the range of items was large. The produce was the real star of the show - if we lived here we decided we'd be here every weekend stocking up. Sadly, we mostly browsed and had a few snacks. Very nice space right on the water - you can grab a snack or a meal and sit and enjoy a water view.

It has been a farm every since, and the Chase-Flack cobblestone farmhouse (not open to the public) was a stop on the underground railroad. It's still an operating farm, and you can buy fresh produce at the market that is right on NY 18. My visit was in October, so the choices included fresh corn, Indian corn, pumpkins of all sizes, decorative gourds, hay, eggs, cut wood, decorative items and gift items. Give them a try!

Last week I got a huge butternut squash for $1 and hard to find honeynut squash 2/$1. I have purchased tons of red, green and nappa cabbage more than half off what you would pay at the store. Vendors are helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Check the Greece Ridge calendar prior to heading out as this market is not year round - but definitely a place to find great local produce for cheap.

I love cannoli's in general, but let's face it the worst part is the hard shell, well Sweet Ally's takes care of that for you, putting it inside a delicious donut! Reasonable pricing too! I may or may not be a little obsessed but they are so good! For weeks I keep meaning to take a picture, but I never remember before devouring them! They only make them on Sundays, but if it is a different day, stop by and enjoy their other selection of donuts, baked goods and candy. This time of year is the perfect time to visit, as right behind them Oakfield has a wonderful Christmas light up Wonderland, and across the street they have 100 decorated Christmas trees!
