Half rack ribs. I cut each rib that's why it looks like that! Ribs were awesome!

Excellent food! Food was tasty! Service was great and food came out fast. Place was spacious and had a lot of seating. Place was clean as well as the restrooms. Friendly staff.

    Peach cobbler (front) crisp (back)

Hunting for the best peach cobbler in Atlanta and this place popped up on one of the places to go. The menu has the homemade peach cobbler and it was fair. A little too sweet with the cinnamon but lack the crunch of a crumble or pie. I needed more of that. The crisp was the star for the 2 items. It was quite pleasant. If I was in the area, I'd go back for dessert.

This place has not changed a single bit in 15 years. I grew up going to Roasters, but the location by my home was relocated. My boyfriend and I stopped here while apartment hunting and we absolutely loved it. I got the chicken finger platter and he got the chicken finger sandwich and they both hit the spot. The price for the food is unbeatable and we had our meals within 20 minutes of being seated. It is so wholesome remembering something from your childhood and it being the exact same experience. Service, experience, and food quality LOVE!

Quick service. Good food. Old diner ambiance, which I totally love! I'm kicking myself since it took me this long to try this place out. It's your standard old school American food. Nothing over engineered. Rotisserie was juicy and tasty. But between here and kid cashew, I'd say kid cashew's chicken is the winner. Although this rotisserie is more of a 'traditional' variation - meaning, nothing too fancy - a good overall classic. Also, when it comes to side items, this place kicks Kid Cashew's butt haha. I watched a guy at a next table only eat side items (which they have a 'veggie plate'), and I was like - this dude must be vegetarian. NOPE - it's because their side items are good. It's very homey. All in all, it gives me a Grandma Rudine type of food - lol. If you get my drift. But yeah - i can dig it.

I grew up right around the corner from this strip mall (the parking is an absolute nightmare. Maybe not quite as bad as towards the Roasters end, but the narrow slanty-spots aisle/road nearest the building around the middle/Trader Joe's section is just horrible.) It was a really sunny, fall afternoon and I wanted to eat lunch on a patio, and while the ambiance of Roasters' patio isn't all that great (parking lot view), the food and service all but made up for it. The portions, price, and taste of my lunch was amazing, and the server (can't recall his name) was friendly and prompt. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as some of the local BBQ places that I frequently do carry-out from, but for how much food we got in our entrees and its price, it was pretty stiff competition. I'd gladly go back again, mostly for the bbq pork, chicken, collards and corn bread. (The black eyed peas and the broccoli were severely under-seasoned, but the rest of the things were so good, all I needed was to fork different bites together.)

Good, consistent sustenance I've been a patron of this business at various locations over the years. The quality and flavor of the food stays the same no matter which location you visit. Plentiful servings cine with 1/4 chicken, ribs, wraps, sandwiches - Roasters' signature flavor permeates. I've sample so many of the sides, it's hard to pick favorites, but I'm partial to the broccoli/cauli casserole, creamed spinach and apples - appealing to all of my Southern taste buds. Dining in, is easy for 2 or 10 - kids and adults alike. Even when going for pick up, the service is fast and typically friendly. So if your in the mood for good food and service, give it a try BON APPÉTIT

Ordered thru Grubhub and the food is good. Rotisserie chicken was very tender and flavorful. The lemon pepper wings were most lemon and no pepper. Other half enjoy the bbq wings and chicken sandwich.

Quarter dark meat with mac and fries!

Came here on a Saturday night around 6 pm and although the place was busy we were seated at once. The place is casual and has a family friendly vibe, so seems like the kind of place people would also go to during the week for an easy meal. Our waitress was great, on point checking up on us but also giving us a moment when we needed to look through the menu. We started out with a couple of rolls, trying both the yeast and cornbread, and although both were tasty the cornbread was the hands down winner. For my main course I got the quarter dark with mac and fries. The chicken tasted just like store bought rotisserie chicken, which I guess is the point, but not something I would order again. Mac n cheese was fine but nothing special, so would try another side in the future as they have a ton of options. Really enjoyed the fries with seasoning on.

    Chicken quesadilla with sautéed veggies
    Sandra B.

They did it again. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent as always. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with veggies (peppers and onions only) that I asked to be sauteed until soft. I omitted the broccoli and corn. Perfectly cooked. Special requests don't bother them. The quesadilla was hot and gooey without the contents falling out. The portion size was enough for two. My daughter had a grilled chicken Caesar salad with their homemade poppyseed dressing. She always gets this so it must be that good. I can never leave without getting a slice of their homemade key lime pie. So creamy and the tart is pleasantly just right! Roasters is ideal for family, group, and solo visits. I'm already craving another quesadilla.

Yuk, green beans tasted like they were from a can as well as other sides. I had the meatloaf plate & it was definitely more loaf than meat.

At that time I would've given my experience five stars no doubt. It was a little bit off this time. First of all, it was so cold in there that my food was hot when it arrived. I took literally one minute to take a photo of my food and by the time I started eating it, it was already getting cold. I got the one protein plate and of course went for the smoked and grilled wings because I had been dreaming about them since 2021. They were still very tasty and I love the variety of sauces that get served with it. My favorite was the cilantro sauce, but the lemon pepper was really good too. The brussell sprouts flavor was good but they seemed old though, like they had sat for a long time and then been reheated. Also, we got there at about 8:15 PM and they closed at 9pm. I had been traveling all day and this was the first place we went after leaving the airport. We ordered the craft sodas and were very excited about them but pretty much as soon as our food came out the gentleman from the counter informed us that they were closing down the soda machine. I was pretty annoyed because those sodas are close to $5 apiece and I was hoping to try a couple flavors. I get that they wanna get out of there, but we were paying customers. If they were gonna close the soda machine as soon as they got our food, they should've told us that when we were ordering.

So I went back up to the cashier and ran my card again. However, there was a mix-up and I had been confused with another customer. Long story short, I was charged TWICE for my meal because of a screw-up. I've called twice in the last two weeks, and I have still not been refunded. They sent me a refund receipt at one point, but they apparently refunded the wrong card. I've always enjoyed the food here, but the management is just awful. They made a mistake, took over $35 from me, did not apologize, and did not follow-through as promised. I can't believe I had to keep calling and tracking this down. It's baffling to me that you can run a business with this kind of service. I'm sorry, but you've lost a loyal customer.

The brisket was tender & flavorful & we enjoyed it. The Mac n cheese had tons of cheese and my baby liked it The fried okra were cooked perfectly so we devoured those And the wings had a great texture freshly cooked & flavor was interesting but a little too salty for me. 2.5 Stars - [Review Based on Peach Cobbler and Service]…read more I wanted some peach cobbler, but didn't feel like driving an extensive distance to peach cobbler factory since I had vanilla ice cream on me. Upon entering, I didn't get the lady's name but she took my order and her energy was weird, it wasnt rude, but less courteous than basic service, as if she was in a rush to be done with dealing with me. I got the peach cobbler pretty quickly since it wasn't busy here, the customer demographic looked to be older white people. Upon getting the peach cobbler it was disappointing. The portion size was decent, but the texture of the cobbler breading was more gelatinous and soggy than I prefer. It's edible, but below basic. Solely based on the peach cobbler, the energy and the ambiance of this place I can imagine the food is underwhelming. Please note that this is just a guess since it was my first time here.
