I paid for these online, but when I arrived to pick them up I added two more items, so a rather expensive bakery purchase over all. When I opened the box, I found chocolate filled instead of chocolate buttercream. I told the women that this is not what I ordered and I would like to switch them. The woman who was in charge asked to see my receipt and it said chocolate on the receipt. I told her that was not what I ordered or wanted. She said "well that's what it says on the receipt." And then she said "we can give you buttercream but you will have to pay for it." So obviously they had the chocolate buttercream and could have simply switched them out. I told them this was very poor customer service and a poor way to run a business. Especially for someone with a large order driving there from out of town. No one had touched the croissants. Unfortunately this was not the only bad interaction with this store. My first interaction with this establishment was when the nurses in my office ordered the filled croissants. I had never tried them at that point. We ordered a dozen each, submitted online in 4 separate orders. When the woman from our office who lives closest went to pick them up, they had packed them 24 to a box and refused to separate the orders. They made her PAY for the extra boxes and stand there and re-package them herself. If each of us had walked in and ordered a dozen, the boxes would have been free. They have tasty sweets but you can't be this rude and run a business. They have lost many customers today.

She even was able to provide a few recommendations. As promised, the cakes were ready when she said they'd be, and they were beautiful, adorable, and delicious! Flavorful, fresh, and moist as a cake should be. We did a 4" and 8" and it was perfect for the amount of people. It was about $80 for both cakes, and completely worth it. I will definitely use Nana's to order cakes again, or even just to pick up a sweet treat or fresh speciality bread as I have in the past!
