I would give them 0 stars if possible!!! Rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, mean owner who yells on his customers and untrustworthy drivers! I called them for a ride 6:30-7 am , they told me they can start at 8 am earliest, and will call me back within 30-40 min for pick up details. 1 houur layer no one got in touch with me, I called them back, driver(women) started to make excuses and tried to avoid my trip referring me to the taxi service owner. I got a call 10 min later from the owner stating they can take my ride at 10 am. What?! They made me wait and lose my time! When I told them the other driver told me she can take the ride at 8 he started to yell on me saying who is she to tell you that! So who the ... you think you are that you can yell on me?! Idiot! Ok I'm not a drama queen and I'm easy to please. This is the review I give on this. I hope that someone reads it before booking a ride with them. The cab was on time and we didn't have to wait. We had them send two because we were a total of 5. The cab I was in had no seatbelt at all. The lap belt was in place but nothing to hook it to. The seats were very dirty and the car smelled of strong sweat . No AC in this Pontiac. The driver was very nice but well that's all I'm gonna say on that . :( The car didn't have break lights and no left turn signal in the back. ( friends in cab behind us) the other cab did have seatbelt but no AC at all. It's August and darn hot! Couldn't get out of the car fast enough. This cab was recommended by our hotel. I have used there services a few different times and each time they never give an accurate wait time .. the 1st time I waited over an hour and a half, the other 2 times was no less then 45 mins with them claiming they were about to pull up .. The last and final time I waited almost 2 hours tried to call them multiple times with no answer or call back and ended up having to call ABI taxi.. will never use roadrunner again read more

OK so here is what happened with the Taxi fiasco: I called Roadrunner Taxi this morning (our family does not have a car yet still working on that) to try and get Catie and I to our Friday school co op. I hate when I have to call the taxi because even when I call and make a time call they are ALWAYS 15-20 minutes late. ALWAYS. Anyway my friend that usually carpools me, but had been dealing with sick children the last few weeks, calls about 25 minutes before the time call and told me she was bringing one of her children to the co op because she did not want him to miss and she did not mind grabbing me on the way (she lives right up the street). Anyhow I accepted her offer because I would rather go with her than take a taxi because 1. The $$$$ and 2. I don't have to worry about the Taxi being ridiculously late and getting there late. 3. Last few times I have gotten into their taxi's the taxi's smelled bad like stale smoke and poop mixed together and the drivers have had BO........like BAD bo. (and this is more than one different driver.) and 4. The drivers have been, lately, so distracted taking calls on their little handset phones that it has become unsafe with them swerving all over the place while they are taking calls. Anyway I called the taxi company back immediately and told them to please cancel my taxi. Well the obnoxious idiot that answers the phone in the mornings (some drivers have told me that he is the owners son and therefore acts like a privileged brat even to them and is always rude) decided he wanted to lecture me and tell me he is gonna put my number on the do not pick up list. SERIOUSLY? Really, you rude obnoxious spoiled brat..............first of all you provide a service and should try some damn decorum when you are on the phone with CUSTOMERS. Second of all how about hiring some drivers worth a damn so maybe I would then tell my friend I am sorry but I made other plans today I will catch you next week, how about cleaning your cars so they don't smell so bad that I have to gag all the way to my destination (ugh) how about requiring your drivers to be awake for safety and bathe before they are allowed to drive (seriously I don't know how to tell you how bad the last 3 drivers have smelled) and how coming up with a system where your drivers are not on phones while they are driving (sometimes two different phones, seriously) so that the passengers feel safe when they are driving in your vehicles. And last but not least how about you realize that when you provide a paid service at such HORRIBLE conditions as described above that people have to right to cancel should another better offer come up. At least I called I know plenty of people that would have gone and never even informed the taxi so they would have showed up and noone be there. So Mister I am an spoiled coddled brat that answers my daddy's phones at ROADRUNNER TAXI you put my number on whatever freaking list you want I will be filing a BBB complaint against your company and also I will be filing this here post on every FB page, yelp page or google lookup page you have because people should know there are other options for taxi's (there is another company that I will be calling from now on). I even here there is an Uber service in Abilene now that I will look into. I would much rather be in a vehicle with someone that I trust to get me to my destination safely, without talking on phones and being distracted and in vehicles where I and my daughter do not have to hold our breath to avoid puking the entire way. Also I do not appreciate some spoiled brat that answers daddy's phones lecturing me on my life when you cannot even run the business without all and I do mean all of your drivers complaining about you and you couldn't even form a complete sentence (seriously the idiot said "whatnot" and "like" more times than any other words his entire speech" and whatnot and whatnot" ummmm what???). Goodbye ROADRUNNER TAXI you used to be the best taxi service in town but since the owner has let his son take over the business it has been run into the ground. Yea they have the cheapest prices but the drivers and the cars are gross and stink (both of them) and they are so distracted by phones while they are driving there is no way it is safe. I pre scheduled a pick up for my husband at 10pm the night before for a 4.30am pick up. At 4:35am the taxi had not arrived, my husband called and was told there was a communication error on my part and he would be there at 4:45am. At 4:50am he still was not there so I was forced to abruptly wake up our 2 and 4 year old children to get my husband to the airport. They were tired, crying and startled because we were in such a hurry. Once he was dropped off at the airport he was told that the baggage claim had just closed a few minutes before so he was unable to get on his plane and had to reschedule for 2 hours later. This is a flight that he takes often so hes very aware of the time frame, and would have made the plane with plenty of time had RoadRunner Taxi Service abide by the verbal contract that was made the night before.
