It's a gas station with chairs outside. The bus has no ac so everybody is stinking by time they get to Dallas

Greyhound. Not the dog but the bus! This location is a suburban stop with a few places nearby to eat. It is an outdoor stop with a small seating area that at first appears to be part of the gas station that it's next to. It is on a freeway and has everything you would need around it (food, lodging, etc.) if you accidentally get lost or left behind. Overall, this Greyhound stop is in a convenient spot for it's location and gets the A-OK in my opinion. read more

It pains me to assign such a low score to public transportation, but i do believe that Greyhound is efficient mostly in the East Coast (mainly the New England area). Faster, on time, better bus fleet (AC and, seldomly, wifi on board). But when you venture south and west... ooooh boy. First off, this stop is NOT exactly in the middle of town. Which means that, once yoy hop off the bus you have to hop on a taxi or get a ride from a friend. It shares the location with a 7-eleven (not the most furnished but the public restrooms are fairly decent). Across the (BUSY) street, you cab find solace (in the scorching Texas heat) in Walmart. Yes, because the waiting area is NOT inside with AC... it id outside with 2 or 3 sockets to recharge your phone. It would somewhat be acceptable if the busses were on time, but they rarely are. And, once they get there, you better pray there is a seat and it is NOT by the bathroom. Greyhound was once a lot better and quite cheaper. Such a pity it has, since then, gone downhill. If you gotta travel throughout Texas. Invest in a rental car. It may even prove to be cheaper. It will definitely be better. read more

I will NEVER again take a Greyhound bus anywhere!! I recently booked a trip on Greyhound from Houston to Abilene. The trip turned out to be one big nightmare. I ended up being stranded in the downtown Dallas terminal for 6+ hours because there was apparently no driver to drive the bus to Abilene! The terminal in Dallas was mediocre at best, the Greyhound staff is indifferent and unapologetic and the bus ride from Houston to Dallas was cramped and extremely uncomfortable. My husband ended up driving to Dallas to pick me up. And there is no refund available on my unused ticket. Absolutely NOTHING matched up to anything presented on their website. If you have any other mode of transportation available to you I recommend you take it! read more

My spouse and I booked a Greyhound trip to Spokane Washington for our nieces wedding. Our trip was the worst. Our driver on the first part of our trip missed the exit to Oakland which was an important transfer. She went instead to San Francisco. We missed our connection to be on time for the Wedding. We had to rent a car to make it the rest of the way, spending money I don't have. We will never count on Greyhound again!!!!! Wayne and Lisa Marie. read more
