So I broke down and got stranded in abliene. I made an online reservation and failed to realize I only had a low limit credit card with me for emergencies. Being out of state they don't accept debit cards. Not only did clay have me picked up he actually called a different rental agency to help get me on my way and had someone drop me off at the airport. I can't express how far out of his way he went and how grateful I am for his help. read more

Horrible non caring staff. Just moved to Tx have proof of residency just havent gotten to go to Dmv to change DL. My car is too small for the trip. Was told debit was ok when booked. Then today was called to go over reservation for tomorrow and was told nope cannot without major credit card. Due to out of state DL. Really, now what am I supposed to do. Ruined the holiday for sure now my family will have another holiday without seeing us and the new baby. Thanks you really know how to treat well establised customers. UPDATE 04-25-2019 Paperwork for Rental Closed. Please see Brownwood Enterprise rental experience. This review is for this area manager hardly in his office to close my rental paperwork. A week after returning a Brownwood Enterprise rental I get a call from Daniel ( area manager ) and leaves a message for me to call him back. It just so happens I was in Abilene that day so instead of calling it was more convenient for me to just stop by. At first we spoke about the malfunctioning light problem and then he brought up that the vehicle had between $500 and $1000 in damages. He also let me know I had purchased the waivers. In addition, he made a offer to remedy the inconvenience I had driving a vehicle that would not pass state inspection for malfunctioning lights and using my time to take the vehicle to a mechanic to get the lights fixed. I told him that I would get back with him the next day. The next day I called at approximately 2p.m. and an employee let me know Daniel was out of the office and would be out the entire next day too. I called the day following the day off at around 2 and Daniel was out of the office again. I then called Enterprise customer service and was told that they could leave Daniel a message to return our call. Don't know if he ever got any of my messages but I never heard from him again. read more

I wish 6 stars were an option. I was in an accident and my truck was totaled. Tow truck guy lied and said he would take me to the car rental then didn't keep his word. I was shaken up to say the least. I called Jennifer and she went out of the way to send a car over with Tyler, even though it was about to start snowing! He picked me up and let me grab my personal things from my totaled car and brought us back to the rental office, all this was a little later than closing. I can't thank you enough! You are the best and with everything I was going through you made sure I was not stranded on the side of the road. If your in the area this is the place that deserves your business. I had booked a rental with this location due to my Husband and I PCSing here. Unfortunately, they were not able to rent to me due to my DL being expired. Strange how they are the only location that doesn't honor the military clause when it comes to expired DLs. But the gentleman did mention that I could drive the car. What sense does that freakin make? Thankfully my husband was with me and was able to rent the vehicle. They didn't have much of a selection even though we had a reservation for a certain car class. I also didn't like the fact that they don't offer the option to prepay for fuel. I don't understand what the location difference makes when it comes to this option. The fact that I rent frequently with enterprise it sucks that I'm stuck with poor service. read more

By far the worst enterprise experience I have ever had (I've had many good ones). After confirming my reservation I've the phone and driving an hour to this location the main lady (darker complexion, I believed to be the supervisor) was very disrespectful. My license is expired however I am active duty. The law states "If you are an active duty military member, spouse or dependent, and you are stationed outside the state of Texas, the expiration date of your driver license or identification card is automatically extended unless your driver license has been suspended, canceled, or revoked" https://www.dps.texas.gov/DriverLicense/nonmilitaryrenewal.htm I was told my military ID "meant nothing" "changed nothing" offending both myself and others present. The supervisor then took pictures of my military ID, which is very illegal, and texted it to another individual. Would give this establishment 0 stars if I could. Choose any other enterprise because it is a great company read more

I would actually give this location a 5-star -- both the customer service and my rentals were outstanding. The 3-star rating is due to experiences at the Corporate level and their website. I had an issue with promised double rewards that were offered on the website. The customer service from Corporate was HORRIFIC! In the first communication the issue wasn't even addressed and I was just given a canned response. Further communication came from a different person each time, again with canned responses, and a too bad for you attitude. The lack of points was due to a poor website design, but Corporate customer service would not budge. Obviously their so-called policy was more important than awarding me a few measly bonus points. read more

Everything about my experiences with this location has been stupendously awesome. They are always courteous, I never have to wait, the cars they have ready for me are top notch clean, and they always take the time to make sure I know how to work important things like lights and the Bluetooth. I want to give a shout out to a wonderful employee. I called in with a reservation for a car to be picked up at this location at 10 am. There were a lot of accidents in our city over the weekend and this Enterprise was out of cars. I was frustrated when I called in to come pick up my car and I was calmed on the phone by Mr. Gray. He reassured me, and came to pick my up at my home. He arrived promptly and listened to my complaints. He helped me at check in and was efficient and kind. I have rented cars in the past yet this time I was robbed! Be careful at the Clack location, we were over charged and they claimed my bank charged me for a LUXURY TAX!!! WTFUDGE!? Worst service that I have ever received. Made a reservation to go on small trip to for spring break. Was supposed to pick up car at noon. They called the evening before and said that they was not going to have any cars for us. The so called manager, Samuel Scott was very rude when I ask him to explain how a reservation works with them. This is the second time that this has happened with them .I will no longer use Enterprise or recommend them to my customers. I have a repair shop and usually send 2-3 people a week to them. read more
