We stayed here 4 nights while visiting family in the area. Yes, you hear the highway, but with windows and door closed, it's simply background noise. The park is super clean, bathrooms and laundry very clean, owners friendly and helpful, and the residents of the park are a mix of short term and longer term, all very quiet. Too cold during our stay to make use of the pool but it looked clean, too. :) We'd 100% stay here again! read more

We highly recommend this park when you are in the area. The "no contact" check in was seamless. Debbie texted me the day of my arrival with directions and my space number. Then once we were there and hooked up texted my receipt. On our day of departure our slide out motor died, so we were stuck. She helped us find a mobil RV service and made arrangements for us to stay an extra night without having to change spots. Our technician was great, so I also recommend Smiley's RV Repair too! I was very impressed with the entire facility. Brand new picnic tables, well manicured lawns, smooth and level parking spots, nice wide driveways, easy in and out access to freeways and town. Everything we look for in an RV park. If we have occasion to come back through Abilene, this will be our "spot". read more

This park is perfect if you're in the Abilene area. It is a straight shot to get to the historic downtown area and not far from the mall or shopping either. The park is clean and well maintained. The pool and showers are nice and clean. The wifi also works good and there are 3 repeaters within the park. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful. I asked for a hairdresser and she gave me hers and even texted her while I was there to help set up my appointment. We received a coupon book when we checked in and she told us about some really neat things to do in town, which were all good things to do. Our son lives in Abilene and we will definitely stay here the next time we come back. read more

This a great RV park. The WiFi was great. The staff was super nice. It was clean. The only down side was it's pretty close to the road so there was some noise but it wasn't to bad. read more

I read a couple of the "bad" reviews on this RV park and I just don't get it. The manager Debbie was very gracious and welcoming. I give this park a Five Star rating because of her hospitality. She was extremely accommodating when we made reservations even texting me directions to make sure our GPS was accurate. The WI-Fi was good. We stopped here for a one-night stay traveling through to our final destination. Super easy in and out. We would stay here again. read more

The spot is so dirty and noisy and the Wi-Fi is terrible dog pens everywhere highly do not recommend even stopping go find a different good Sam campground because this one is not worthy read more

This is an OK park for a one night stay while traveling through on I-20. Very easy on and off the freeway makes it a very convenient stop for tired travelers. On the other hand, that convenience also leads to very loud road noise from the freeway. There are a lot of permanent dwellers living there in RV's giving an unkempt look for the whole park. What was once gravel roads and sites are now mostly dirt. Like I said earlier, it is OK for a one night stay but I would look at other options if I was going to stay in the area and explore the Abilene area. read more

Very well taken care of here planned to stay longer than a month for work but other things came up for us to leave early prior to coming I had picked a spot I liked the best they accommodated me in every way possible Debbie was very nice and helpful I can't say enough good things about this place but if I'm ever back in the area my first phone call will be to this park hands down only con I can come up with not really for us but if you don't like road noise this park is off I20 a major highway so if you don't want noise might not like it but it didn't bother us at all my son liked seeing the trucks and motorcycles drive by at times read more

Clay and Debbie were very friendly and helpful during our two night stay. I enjoyed talking to Clay about their plans for the park. Debbie took time to map out points of interest for my wife. The next time we're in the area we will definitely stay at Abilene RV Park. It was easily accessible and the facilities were fine.
