Just pulled in for one night while traveling from Phx to Lake Tacoma. This RV park is right off the interstate and is super easy to get in to. We were a late arrival and our paperwork with a map was posted at the board along with an email explained everything to us. Our spot was a level pull thru and it was easy in and out with a class a towing a jeep. There are a bunch of monthly workers at this park but it was super quiet. I would recommend. read more

To Ridgeview RV Park - Posting to Raise Awareness I have been staying here since mid-July 2025 as a monthly tenant. On September 27, I received an email stating that Ridgeview had "overbooked" and needed my spot, asking me to leave. As a monthly tenant, they cannot legally make me leave just because they overbooked. After speaking with other guests, I learned that we are all being charged different rates for the exact same type of site ("deluxe pull through"). I also discovered major discrepancies in electricity billing--my bill was nearly $250 a month, despite only running our AC, while my neighbors (who use more electricity) paid only $100-150. When I emailed about these inaccurate readings and unfair billing, I was pulled into the office to meet with the owner. Instead of resolving this professionally, I was told that all of this is "legal" and that pricing varies depending on how long people stay, or because of demand in the area. They offered me a new site--but it was too small for my camper, despite their claims it could hold 50-foot units. When I tried to address this, the manager became extremely rude, raised her voice, would not allow me to speak with the owner, and then hung up on me. Shortly after, police arrived because the manager had called them claiming criminal trespass--despite the fact that I was fully paid up on rent and electricity. Even the officers stated it was a waste of time and advised me to take this matter to court. To make matters worse, I later discovered the manager was calling other RV parks in the Abilene area, telling them not to rent to me or my family. This is not only unprofessional--it's harassment and slander. I ultimately decided to leave because I refuse to be forced into moving spots after five months, especially with a toddler and animals, and because of the continued mistreatment. To future guests/tenants: be aware of Ridgeview RV Park's practices. Overbooking long-term tenants, inconsistent rates, inaccurate billing, and harassment are not how a park should be run. Dom (owner), if you want to run a successful park, you need to ensure fair treatment of long-term tenants and properly train your staff. Rachel (manager), your treatment of guests has been disrespectful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Nice facility, not helpful in the office, booked us for the incorrect amount of days. Had to figure out where to keep our camper until our tournament was over. Pool closed because the city shut them down. Laundromat does not except certain bank cards with their 3rd party partner. No where for kids to ride scooters or play with out getting complained on. There is better out there. read more

We were here a month passing through and it was a great place. It was quiet, and clean. The mail system and checkin was a little unorganized but other than that things went smoothly. Also, there were ants all over their outside library box. Probably the best RV park in Abilene. read more

If you're a Class A or have air ride suspension do not stay here. The sites are too uneven and sloped. Even with using my blocks, I ruined a rear air bag on our 2015 Tiffin Allegro. It almost ruined both sides. It was $650 to replace at the freightliner dealership a few miles from the park. I tried to reason with management to deduct some from our two week stay or at least refund our deposit. I stopped by the office several times and was told someone would call me. I still have not heard anything. I have stayed at both whistle stop and ridge view rv parks. Whistle stop is much flatter and easier to park your rig. Other complaints on ridge view are the pool was out of order for our entire stay (part of the reason we booked), and we had to dig our water connection out of the gravel/mud to connect. I will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone passing through. read more

We were planning to stay longer, but unfortunately work had other plans and we ended up having to leave early. This resort is ideal for anyone traveling with children. Our kids enjoyed having the pool and playground close by and not having to travel out of the campground. They have 2 laundromat's making it wonderful for the guests staying down farther from the office so they don't have to haul everything up. The sites have plenty of room. (We had the deluxe back in.) if there's no picnic table at your site, be sure to ask for one and they will bring you one! We will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again! read more

Laundry rooms and bathrooms are amazing and very clean! One laundry room up front with restrooms and showers next to it and another laundry room in the back with another restroom and shower. Office ladies are amazing and super helpful and nice. Anything you need they try to help you! A beautiful pool in the summertime. And a playground right next to it. ... it's all in the details.... On arrival day, I walked into the office. There were two ladies manning the desk - one was on speaker phone (getting the third degree from a patron about their written policies) and the other was doing nothing outside of looking bored. I waited and waited just to check in. Discounts - AARP, Military, Government, AAA, Good Sams' - you name it, they take it - flippantly. Grudgingly might be a better description. "Well, it's only ten percent." I was told. Be sure to provide the number, because when you present the card, they won't take it! I was told, verbatim, "We don't need it, you're already paid in full." Because they don't provide a receipt, I had to wait till we got home to check emails to see if I was charged correctly, which I wasn't. Later I discovered that their 'arrival packet' only had the assigned spot number, and I had been charged already so why make people wait to check in? (Their 'arrival packet' has many discrepancies of inconsistent hours and policies - so beware!) Maybe travelers are tired and hungry, and just. Want. To. *stop*. Charged instantly, mind you, and did not inform us. Because the office person made the reservation over the phone, typing it into their system, they charge a CAMPING FEE and don't bother to tell you that either. We'd have preferred to have pertinent info up front, to be prepared. Surprises of hidden fees are never fun. Did you know that the area has large MOSQUITOS? Yep, there's standing water at the rear of the property to attract them. Good grief. Bet the area gets hot too - there's no shade because of the newly planted trees. Had to ask for a receipt. When calling again and again during their working hours, the message says "Oh we've stepped out, UM, please leave a message, UM, we'll call ya back, UM..." Maybe they should change their working hours, so that customers - potential - can reach them. I started counting the UM's, then lost track... Maybe write a script then read it? Better yet, avoid it. Give customers receipts so the challenge never arises. My reasoning for calling so many times? If they're not going to answer the phone during open business hours - clearly listed on their website - then they likely won't return a phone call. Note - The one time that the phone *was* answered, Karen displayed the phone etiquette of an unsanitary doorknob. New to customer service, or simply doesn't care - either way, pretty unfriendly. Somewhere I read that you have to *ask* for a level spot. ~ gasp Noise - We always carry earplugs when traveling, but when you read from others that it's not bad - baloney! Less than a half mile away from a four-lane interstate, you absolutely can hear it (not that far-away pleasant sound) but enough to keep you awake at night. We took an evening stroll through the park, just glad to no longer be driving. Some folks had pretty lights on their campers. There were numerous RV's of what looked to be permanent residents, and countless dogs. Guess the policies stated in the welcome packet are not enforced. Unique and filthy - oh sure, the Astro turf would look great, IF it were cleaned properly, or at all. Perhaps if it were natural grass, you probably wouldn't notice all the cigarette butts and trash left from previous guests. We travel often and DO search for new parks, but you're better off pitching a tent in your out-of-state cousin's yard. Nooooooooooo - we're not venting, be assured. We only expected more from a new park. And golly - for a new business, they sure aren't organized.... ... or clean. And no, we won't go back. read more

New RV park that opened Jan 2021 with really well kept grounds, paved roads throughout the park, and overall awesome place to stay right off of the I-20! Highly recommend this park, we were in a bus towing a boat and we're able to pull right through our spot with ease. 5 stars+ read more

My wife and I were passing through Abilene on April 4, 2024 and spent the night at Ridgeview RV Resort. The website says all the sites are level and have a picnic table. Our site (#81) had no table and was at least 6" out of level from the high corner of our rig to the low. Website also mentions newly-planted saplings are growing fast. Read: No shade. The pool was not open (I guess it was too early in the season). The park is clearly primarily occupied by monthly renters, a good number of which seem to be permanent (or semi-permanent) residents. Kudos to Boa Vida RV Resorts for contributing to the provision of affordable workforce housing. However, the noisy neighbors mad it very difficult to enjoy our stay. The young men across the road from us were enjoying a few beers after work, but were making far more noise than they needed to (they were also enjoying a few beers the next morning before work!) The neighbors on the other side, behind us, were partying outdoors until well after 11:00 PM, playing guitar, signing and carrying on. Around midnight, the site directly behind us (#97) had folks drinking, shouting and laughing outdoors until about 3:30 AM. Someone there was clearly very funny, because a woman who was continuously cackling made sleep impossible. At about 4:30 AM the same site erupted in a domestic dispute, with angry shouting from a woman and a man, screaming and pounding on the trailer doors, until about 5:30 AM. We had intended to stay at the same campground on our way home the following week, but cancelled that pre-paid reservation when we checked out in the morning. We let the staff know of the disturbances and our dissatisfaction, but no adjustment was offered. I may have spent more money for a less restful camping experience, but I just can't remember when. A few days later, I followed up via email when no credit had appeared on my account for the cancelled stay. I was assured it would post within a few days. When it had not posted by the following week, I was passing back through town so I stopped in and had them post the refund while I waited. Can't recommend this place. read more

About 50 Mike's from Abilene and called Ridgeview for reservation for the nite- mucho simple- very nice lady- Upon arrival - our site package was waiting Great park- new- wide streets- easy in and out Although we have outgrown the kids- they have nice kids playground and dog yard as well When we are back this way and need a place to stay- will absolutely stay here again Dale & Linda B Fort Worth Tx read more
