Rarely do I give a company a one-star review. This is one of those times. I tried to make use of their service twice during a business trip in Abilene. The first time around, the cab was horribly late, so I wound up having to request a ride from our client. The second time around, I called in advance to ask if they would have cabs running after midnight, since I needed to catch a red-eye flight. I was assured that they would be, but when I actually called to request a ride, I was told that there would be a three-hour wait(!!!). If not for the kindness of a motel employee, I would have totally missed my flight. I later learned that these were not isolated incidents and that they had a habit of running horribly late. Look somewhere else if you need a ride. read more

Refused to allow me to spend 10 minutes at the WalMart - after I had requested a cab to Walmart. Why would anyone want a ride to the grocery store unless they needed groceries? Expensive and dumb. Nobody will ever read this review, but feel better having posted it. read more

I called and made a reservation which was easy except I should of trusted my gut because they only asked me my address my destination and pick up time. No confirmation email (because they didn't have it) or text. They never showed and I couldn't get anyone on the phone at 4:20 AM when no one had arrived to confirm whether someone was still coming. I ended up having to drive myself and pay for airport parking. So a $25 plus tip (which I would of tipped another $20 for such an early trip) ride turned into a $135 airport parking bill. They texted me at 6:28 AM after I was already in Dallas into see if I still needed a ride. But hey they are sorry so that fixes it right .

It is on a freeway and has everything you would need around it (food, lodging, etc.) if you accidentally get lost or left behind. I had a carpenter ant problem, and the first tech was great although he showed up pretty early. He was a very friendly and professional former member of the military. He seemed knowledgeable and told me to give the chemicals time to work but to call back if I still had ants. The price I was charged was somewhat higher than I was quoted but I was told they guarantee their work and would come back as many times as it took to take care of the problem. A few weeks go by and I call to let them know I still have the ants- they never left although I did find some dead ones for a few days. I was to,d they would come back to treat again. They called to cancel the initial appointment as my tech had a death in the family. I expressed sympathy and told them no problem. I rescheduled and then they called on the new day to change the time. I agreed to work with them and they sent a different tech out. He was courteous and went quickly about his work. Told me to give things time to take effect but let them know if I still have ants. A few weeks go by and I call to report that the ants are still not gone. I was told I would be charged again in full because my "warranty" had run out. I tried to explain that they never got rid of the ants but was told there was no way around having to pay another couple hundred bucks. My understanding of warranties is that you buy something and the warranty guarantees it for a set amount of time. I was under the impression that they would get rid of the ants and guarantee me they would stay gone for 3 months or whatever. I didn't get what I paid for to begin with so not comprehending why my warranty would be out. I'm thankful Lawrence Hall didn't declare the warranty on my truck expired before I got the truck! Two stars because they were courteous but I didn't get what I paid for and will now need to find a pest control company that can actually get rid of carpenter ants.

I called this cab company after reading the reviews on it and decided to try it out. They quoted me a price that seemed very reasonable. The cab arrived very promptly and the vehicle was very clean and tidy. The driver was nice and in good spirits. It was a there and back kinda trip. If you are looking for a cab, Give these guys a chance and if you like the service you get, give them a tip. I have used several other cab companies in the past and this one is the best one I've found IMO. I will definitely be using them in the future. Keep up the good work you guys! read more

My cell phone was not working, and I was rather rattled as I was an older woman traveling alone and these days that seems a bit scary, especially when you don't have a way to call 911 from the road. Also no one sells maps anymore. :( This extremely friendly, smiley, helpful young woman working in the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau was my angel in disguise. She gave me a Texas map -- for free! (they're ginormous like the state) -- and also an Abilene map and even highlighted it and gave me written directions to their local Verizon store so that I could try to get my phone working again. She even let me call home to tell my hubby that I was all right and where I was at and headed.
