Called the night before to schedule a 4:15am pick up to take me to the airport. Driver called to let me know he was on his way, which was appreciated, and he arrived a few minutes early. The driver was friendly and nice and it was a smooth ride. One item to note is that they are cash only. Minus 1 star for that as it might be inconvenient when you don't happen to have cash on you. read more

Unfortunately the owner Steve Faglie died. The good news well his nephew young Steve took over the business and moved in with him almost a year ago with another nephew. So you shouldn't see any change in service or in drivers. Call on ABI for all your taxi cab needs. Now doing long distances and charges til your payday. RIP Steve. read more

Well this driver decided to stop at a gas station and get some snacks which is ok... but then decides walking 10 feet to a trash can is a bad idea so he just tosses his trash out the window read more

ABI Taxi - Taxis Near Me - Abilene, Texas

See all

My husband was involved in a hit & run by one of their taxi's. A police report was done, and they did make contact with ABI Taxi as well as person driving the car. When we contacted ABI Taxi to obtain their insurance information so we could get my husband's car repaired they have refused. They were very rude and stated they would not ever be providing that information to me...I would NEVER recommend this company and do not trust their management at all! read more

From what I've been told this business has new management that has taken over. This is my second time riding. They helped me go grocery shopping and to my hair appointment. They were quick to answer, get me on their schedule, and did a great job driving. read more

This company is absolutely awful. They're rude and racist. They wanted me to meet them 6 blocks from where I was at to give me a ride. Then they picked me up and we're rude about coming to get me. read more

Whenever we decide to drink away from where we are staying we call ABI Taxi to give us a ride back. They quote you a time on how long it will take them to pick you up and actually arrive within that time or less. The vans are super clean and like new. Drivers are always fun to chat with and once even took us through a drive thru when we couldn't resist late night snacks (no extra charge unless it takes more than a few minutes!) Lastly, price is MORE than reasonable especially when you think about how much a DUI would cost if you decided to drive under the influence! read more

Well, I used to be able to say that this was the best taxi service in town. Honestly I like the daytime drivers and they have transported myself and my daughter several times to various places in town and I always felt the drivers, while some a bit harried, were very friendly. However, last night I had a very different experience. I put in a time call for about 8 PM to get my daughter to a VERY important activity for her. At 8 the taxi was not there so we went inside to wait since the temperature was dropping with the cold front coming in. We kept checking periodically for the taxi, but were not too worried because normally the morning drivers will honk their horn when they arrive. We never saw a taxi nor did we hear a honk. So we called dispatch at about 8:15 PM and got the most ridiculously obnoxious person that answered. He said that since we were not outside that he told his driver to leave. We asked why they had not honked to alert us they were there (and since we were checking periodically there is no way they waited more than 3 minutes) He said "We are not required to do that you should have been outside"..........ummm hello just how long do you expect me to stand outside with my child? It was nighttime and the temperature was dropping and you were not there at 8PM for the time call? Seriously, so then we asked if they could send a taxi back and this rude guy REFUSED TO SEND THE TAXI BACK. Honestly I am in customer service and whomever does their dispatch at night needs to work somewhere that he has no contact with people because when I say that he was obnoxious I am absolutely holding back. Not to mention that my daughter missed something that was very important to her. Thanks a lot for ruining something important for a little girl.............not to mention because of the way we were treated it is doubtful that I will use this service again, even if I will miss the daytime drivers. I have used this taxi service off and on for years and I will say that today you have lost a very faithful customer as I even gave the number to this service out years ago when they were just starting out. I will never do so again. read more

I don't know who the manager/owner of this operation is but I will make sure this company is spread all over for what unsafe unprofessional rude & degrading company/driver running for this taxi company!!! Needed to get a family member to work picked her up from the house drove down the street parked the taxi and said pay now... mind you she don't speak good English... she said don't I pay at the end of route? He said pay now or walk... just get out just get out... so of course she is scared and needing to get to work so she pays! If you wanted payment before traveling you don't drive someone blocks away say pay now or walk!!! This woman is a 50 year old woman not from this country and surely don't need to steal a ride!!! There is a way to handle things and from my past experience with ALL taxi companies the ride is given to the destination miles are calculated then payment is given!!!! I called the same number we had to pick her up and it was a different driver. I explained the situation not even an apology or nothing! He said the drivers name taking her is Billy... be aware of this company and driver!!! read more

Fabulous experience because of my driver Bill. He picked me up on time, took me where I needed to go and was so friendly & helpful. The rate was reasonable. I would use them again and ask for Bill. (The company's car could have used some updating and smelled a bit like cigarettes.) read more

Horrible service. They gave me a bogus ETA, I wouldve of been better going with another company that gave me real time. If u enjoy sitting around forever go with abi. read more

Didn't bother showing up for a reserved pick up time because of weather - which would have been fine if they called and informed us. Instead they let their phone ring and ring and ring with no explanation leaving me to scramble and find a way to get to our destination. I can't recommend them at all. read more

The taxi driver wrote with a pen on a clipboard while he drove. Then twice he scrolled through his "CB" phone to find a number. He did not text while he drove us. Thank God! I think he was driving and dispatching at the same time. We were only in the car ten minutes. read more
