I came here while I was camping in Quartzite for two nights. I need one gallon Ziplocks and toothpaste. Walking inside I found what I needed. I spent a few minutes walking around. This place has prepared sandwiches, beer, vegetables and fresh meat. The chicken and meat prices were not bad. The store was clean and organized well. Next year when I come back to Quartzite I might buy some sandwiches and chicken to bbq back at camp. read more

This is a great small local grocery store. The produce is the best other area, always fresh with a good variety. The staff is friendly and when the store is busy, they will have more than one cashier line and they move people and their items along quickly. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Roadrunner Market. read more

BUYER BEWARE! OVERCHARGE AT REGISTER - for three years now. Shop at coyote instead. During my first trip to roadrunner... They overcharged me on three items. ($6 over). When I Pointed it out, they acted surprised, checked the shelves, and lied to my face. Explanation: computer has been updated, but not prices on shelves. (Which is the legal amount they can charge you.) how many older people have they been overcharging? while pretending I'm the first one to ever notice. read reviews: same complaint, 3 yrs ago. Glad to see a legit grocery market! They have a lot to offer, including produce. I bought fresh milk for less than half of what the truck stop charges. Much ready to eat food, and all the food you expect from a market. I'm just passing through but I'm glad I stopped in & will again. read more

I'm a local. I recently had surgery and can not lift heavy objects. I've been in several times for watermelon. I can not lift a melon so I ask the produce guy if he will cut it in half. I also told him I'm not able to carry a whole melon. He acts like it's a huge inconvenience so I usually wait, which was fine. But then last few times he sends someone out to say he's too busy. So if customer service is that much of a problem I won't shop there. I left without buying anything.Ill spend my money at a store that appreciates their regular customers. I'll continue to do my shopping at coyote. They are always nice and helpful there. They cut my.melon with a smile. read more

Limited but ok selection. Ok prices. All the produce we bought was too dated and we had to throw out the day we bought it. In fact a lot of their other items were out of date too. Nice people, good hours but forget the vegetables and fruit and beware of freshness of everything else too. read more

Was surrounded in the store by people in the store with no masks. Two of them were employees of the store. When I complained, the manager spewed false information and called me ignorant. Obviously they don't take food or health safety seriously at this store and like to insult customers. I would never shop here. read more

Christine is in the deli. She warmed up our sandwich in the microwave and cut it on the diagonal, just like we liked. We walked out with a yummy roast beef sandwich. She was helpful and we think she should get at least a .25 cent raise for how she treated us today. We will be back to see Christine. read more

There is a pretty good selection for a small-town market, but be careful if you try to use an out.-of-state Snap or EBT card, because my valid card has been refused several times, for reasons they can't explain, so I now I go to Coyote market or Family or Dollar Store which always accepts the card. read more

I've never had a negative experience here. They have lots of fresh produce every time I go, which is my favorite thing about the store! They always have fresh broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, avocados, lettuce, etc. etc. Some items I don't buy here because they're quite a bit more expensive than at the dollar store, but for the most part, things are reasonably priced. This place may be the only store in town, so you would think they would have a large turnover of produce. Purchased some cream cheese and use it the next day and found out it was 7 months out of date! Went the next day and looked at the rest of the cream cheese of the same brand and they like the one I got were all the same date! Loaded them in the cart with the rest of my purchase and proceeded to the cashier. Showed her the expiration dates she said thanks and asked if I could get credit for the one I purchased her answer was I can't do that! REALLY I just save you from selling anymore! Also my wife got organic milk and after the cream cheese issue she checked the milk and it was outdated! Not going back! read more

We go here for the great produce. But BUYER BEWARE. Pay attention on what you are being charged on items . Just for example, brocolli was marked 1:49 a lb charged me 2:58 lb This is not the first time, this has happened . And it's not just on the produce. Pay attention. If you think your getting a good deal, look at your receipt after you pay. Or when they ring you up. read more

Do not shop at the road runner market. The meat is rotten, and over priced. My mom bought meat at this store, when she was preparing our dinner she noticed a foul smell coming from the chicken she was about to fry, she threw the chicken away. The milk and other dairy products are out dated, the owner yells and cusses at costumers, and kicks them out of the store. read more

We almost bought beef liver there, thank GOD we didn't, was leaving the next morning to head back north. If not for the great nose of the clerk, we would have gotten food poisoning. Asked if she was a baker and she said yes, very nice of her to let us know that the liver smelled bad. I think her name was Jamie. Won't shop there again. I'm amazed at what this small store offers! Great meat & produce, but also turkey bacon. A fantastic liquor section & non- alcoholic wines. Fun & friendly staff. They have just put in several large freezers so there is a good selection of frozen foods. read more

This store is convenient and well stocked, at least in the winter months. Overpriced in general, but that's Quartzsite and unless you want to drive over 20 miles to Albertson's in Blythe (for more overpriced groceries) or over 20 miles to Walmart or Basha's in Parker, this is your best bet. I avoid buying most canned, bottled, and frozen goods here as much better deals can be found at Family Dollar, or I stock up on these nonperishable items when out of town. However, the meat and produce departments are great. Of course, the store stocks plenty of beer, wine and liquor. More deli case convenience items have been added recently...sandwiches, cooked chicken, salads, and the like, and reasonably priced. Packaged cheese and sandwich meats are not such a good deal here for the most part - try to buy these also when out of town. Marked down items, especially baked goods, cookies, pies, etc can be found by the checkout counter. A friendly little store that has strived to make positive changes and it shows. read more
