PEPPY STAFF & CLEAN REST STOP... however, the restrooms smelled like all kinds of hellish smells. I can understand when a restroom isn't cleaned on a regular basis, this wasn't the issue. The men's restroom stenches of pot, no child should be subjected to that smell. I don't think the staff keep an eye on who was running into the restrooms. I saw many shady characters (drug-addict types) mixed in the bathroom with regular patrons and minors. I felt really anxious being in line for the stalls, the vibes were off. Some creeper would not come out of the restroom, he spent a long time taking up a stall and the smells got worse. Now, I will say the floor and sink were kept tidy given the amount of traffic coming in and out on a daily basis. Additionally, the convenience store section was well-stocked and orderly. I further appreciated the access to showers and designated fueling stations for truckers. I can tell this Love's was built with intent, they planned the entire station well. If you're hungry there's a Subway and Chester's inside the Love's. Lots of guys were buying a snack on the way out, the food looked hot and ready! I'd never stopped at a Love's before -- electric car. While I charged my car I had Chester's chicken served by Love's staff. The chicken tenders were dry, the biscuit was overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were distinctly reminiscent of my high school cafeteria. The service was quick and easy as usual. I usually stock up on all my cigarettes and everything I need that I can't get in California lol one person in particular I do wanna shout out is Denise! She was so helpful and kind and was giving me a lot of input on places to go as I was out there. Very cool! During our recent road trip to Arizona, which took about five hours, we made a much-needed stop at the Love's Truck Stop located at 760 S. Quartzsite Avenue in Quartzsite. It's conveniently situated just off Interstate 10, making it an easy and accessible place to fuel up, grab a snack, or take a quick break during the drive. This truck stop was the perfect spot to stretch our legs, fuel up the car, and grab some snacks before hitting the road again. The location is super convenient, right off Interstate 10, and had everything we needed for a quick and comfortable break. We filled up the car tank, which is always less expensive here than back in California. The restroom was easy to find, right near the entrance. Due to the heavy usage, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in truck stop restrooms is very challenging. We found the restroom at Love's Truck Stop a bit messy but nothing unusual or surprising. It didn't have any strong odors, which is a relief for public restrooms. Like any other truck stops, there was plenty of snacks, drinks, and little things to buy. We bought Chicken Tenders, Potato Wedges, Biscuits, and Fried Chicken Sandwich from Chester's (one of the two restaurants that was located inside) for the lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. We were literally starving, so we quickly finished our meal without hesitation. People who work here are nice, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed a quick and easy stop at Love's Truck Stop. Amber, the "manage" definitely needs classes on customer service. Hank should take her place as he was kind patient and everything I would expect to find at Loves. This is my first time at one and I will never go again. I am definitely sticking with Pilot which is cleaner, better kept, better prices, and way better service. I paid with my card at the pump, the pump froze, I went in, used the restroom and got some drinks - heard something about pump 17 - checked if that was me and it was. Went up to her - she was was ticked ... I took too long to go out there and instead of listening to what happened, she kept speaking over me telling me it's zero'd out and I need to go back out there before it times out. Had me leave everything at the counter - going on and on about how long I took, rolling her eyes, talking to me like I'm an idiot. I go out there pump still doesn't work, there are at least four open pumps, and I'm thoroughly confused. I go in - I don't even know what she said when I walked in but I told her there was no reason to speak to be the way she did, she didn't need to roll her eyes at me, etc... she said NOW she's rolling her eyes, and denied speaking to me the way she did yet admitted that NOW she was. We parked at the auto shop in the next lot as there was a lot of movement and no parking spots freed up. First stop was restroom. Very clean. Then over to Chester's. We got two orders. This is not the typical, large Love's stop that you may be used to seeing across the southwest. In the women's restroom, there were only a handful of stalls but luckily there wasn't a line of women to use them! The grocery and store area also seems a bit consolidated compared to other locations I've been too. I did see an employee cleaning the glass door, someone was spraying water outside and someone also was mopping so they definitely still have the same 'clean' mentality as the other Love's locations. read more

This place is a bit grimy, but it's always my stop when driving from LA to Phoenix! Lots of bathrooms, hot foods (never had them) a Subway... all the junk food one can dream of in one stop! I usually come here for a hot coffee and chips. The workers here have always been kind. This is a true truck stop, and I always look forward to my stop here. Location is a bit iffy as you'll see some transients hanging out in the area, but I've never had a problem. Very disappointed in this place. Been living in Quartzsite for 3 years come August and have been staying away because it's so busy. Now that Summer is here been trying to hit Subway every other day or so. Today it was kind of busy and lines were starting to form and one of the Loves employees in a very condescending manner TOLD us how to form a line in front of the Subway counter instead of politely asking us. We were able to pull right up and get a pump and the gas was a decent price, but this place was extremely dirty! I was admiring the cactus and sand dunes as we were driving through Arizona towards the Grand Canyon. Amazing how big cactus could get in the dry desert. There were small towns and rest stops that broke up the desert landscape. I was excited to see a Chester's Fried Chicken sign. I'm a huge fan of fried chicken and never seen a Chester's. It seems Chester's was inside Love's which was a gas station/truck stop chain in Arizona. I don't usually eat at gas stations as I don't want to breathe in fumes longer than necessary. I made an exception as fried chicken was involved. It was pretty busy inside. Every few minutes someone on the intercom announced a shower was ready. I guess it was for the truckers. Line moved quickly and the price about the same as other fast food fried chicken spots. I ordered the 2 piece snack. This turned out to be a leg and thigh. Batter was nice and crunchy. Chicken was juicy and fresh. Flavor was a bit like Popeye's mild. Potato wedges had a nice fried and seasoned flavor. A little like KFC. Biscuit was fresh and had a bit of sweetness from the brushed on honey. Flavor and texture just like a KFC biscuit. I'd visit again if I was driving by craving fried chicken. This is where I stock up on my pork rinds. They have Turkey Creek brand, my favorite, and I'll buy dill pickle, BBQ, spicy, and plain. Mmmm They also put something worthwhile in their window washer stations out front, because we can wash the buggies off every single time. A task that's impossible at Circle K. The restrooms are ok. This review is very overdue ... We've stopped here literally dozens of times on our trips between Az & Ca The Chevron in Ehrenberg is a BIT CHEAPER FOR GAS & Diesel. Besides them.... There's not much for a long stretch in either direction. So this is a TRUE OASIS. Plenty of gas pumps and clean restrooms with plenty of toilet stalls.The gas here is good to go and so is the CHESTERS CHICKEN. Not usually a fan of gas station chicken strips --- but these are EXCELLENT. Moist and flavorful , not processed ,white meat strips with dipping sauce are our favorite !
