First- poor customer service, only half (if lucky) registers open , and now- COMPLETELY OUT OF PLASTIC BAGS. If I were in charge/ be sure- someone's head would roll. There is no good excuse for that. For a Walmart this place was pretty decent. Found a decent parking spot right off the bat. Spaces are good sizes as well which is a bonus with a truck. Absolutely no disinfecting wipes to wipe down the carts, and although I carry my own, the heat had dried mine out, boo! Walmart here has a masks recommendation but it is not required. While I brought mine, I won't lie I took advantage of shopping without one like the good ol' days when masks weren't a mandatory requirement. I'd say about 50% of the shoppers had masks, while the others didn't. Employees all had them on, as well as many elderly shoppers. The store was fairly clean, fairly organized in some areas, but not in others. The kids clothing section was in complete disarray as well as the obvious cleaning products and paper goods section, ie: paper towels, butt wipes, toilet paper, etc. most items we were looking for were in stock, minus some summer items. There were one way signs on the aisles, but no one seemed to be paying any attention. Of course I tried my best, but after awhile it was too difficult to get thru the aisles in an orderly fashion we gave up and just did as everybody else was doing. They do have the 6ft distance rule with marked lines on the floors at checkout, some obeyed, but most of the people I witnessed didn't, and they got right up in other shoppers faces to chat. LOL. Our checker should get an award for being one of the slowest checkers in Walmart history. He deserves an A for slowness and an F- for effort. He couldn't even bother to get help for price on a pool toy, or offer us a reasonable deal. We bought 3 squirt guns, the most expensive was $4, the cheapest was $2 and this squirt gun was in the between range, shoot, I'd still pay $4 for it anyway. But whatever, we told him to keep it. Might have taken another hour to get out of there. *smdh* I was pleasantly surprised at this location. It was not as crazy chaotic as most Walmart's I've been to in CA. It wasn't as packed as a typical Saturday usually is in CA. We don't go often but always seem to hit up a Walmart when we are camping. read more

If you need to buy alcohol they will card your entire party which is an insane policy the law in California at least is that whoever is carrying the alcohol or purchasing must display ID. They denied our sale because apparently it's Walmart policy I've never in my life seen this and I work In Customer service myself selling alcohol and have never heard of such a policy this is genuinely absurd and I won't be purchasing alcohol from this place they are gonna make it a hassle. read more

I'm 65 years old and since I wasn't driving and paying cash I didn't have it on me. First of all isn't the age 21 for alcohol and tobacco products? Secondly what could I possibly do with JB weld other than fix the plastic cover I needed fixed? Then the manager said he didn't like my attitude and to go buy it somewhere else. So I told him it's the day before Thanksgiving and you don't have a single turkey baster in the store and that...you're not worried about. Meantime you won't sell me a squeeze tube of JB weld. We are staying in the area for the month of Jan and this is the closest Walmart, or any kind of grocery store. We have been here three times. As Walmarts go its fine. The one problem and the reason for the low star review is the shelves have not been stocked any of the times we were here. Some things you have to crawl into the shelf for or climb to reach it. Other things just nonexistent. It seems to be a busy store so they should have people doing this? I've never worked at any kind of store so maybe its something I don't know but gosh I would think if they have product they want to sell, it would be wise to have it out on the shelf where people could get it for purchase. read more

Went to Walmart the day before thanksgiving As I was willing inside I dropped my masked on the ground ....I asked the greeter girl -April for a mask for I had dropped mine on the ground I spoke clear and concise and her reply was 'what?" Do I repeated my statement and her reply was "you have a mask in your hand" I replied forget it I have asthma I don't have to have a mask she then quickly gave new mask begrudgingly ....I bought $126 of supplies and as I was walking out April in a loud condescending call out "haves nice day I tuned around looked a her and she said it two more times....if you don't like people and can't be decent don't work at Walmart as a greater mask enforcement....I had interactions with 3 or 4 associates in the store all were helpful and courteous so I guess I won't protest the store. I like to call this location "The Greatest Walmart on the Planet" and I've been to a lot of Walmarts in more than one country. The one in Ensenada, Mexico is a close second but because my Spanish still sucks I don't always find everything I need. My first trip there I was amazed to find helpful employees that seem to either love their jobs or they wear tracking collars with built in microphones and Uncle Wally is listening. I was talking with a friend about what we needed in another area and an employee skidded to a stop and said" Oh, you're looking for "X"? That's over here, follow me" and walked us to what we were looking for 3 departments over. This was not an isolated incident. I observed it happening all over the store and on more than one visit spanning several months. The parking lot is giant and the place is really easy to find. Then again it's Parker, everything is easy to find. If this Walmart had a restaurant I could just move in and never need to leave. read more

It's Walmart folks! They are having issues getting people to work just like everywhere else. And remember these employees (which are mainly kids, and their lack of respect stems from lack of parental guidance) are not the most educated and or professionals. Since this is the only store within an hour of anything, take the good with the bad. Personally, I haven't had any issues other than the lack of products, which is probably because they aren't getting their shipments, and having a hard time getting people to stock them. I've never been harassed for not wearing a mask, and they've always had them available. Feel free to go to Havasu and shop there. I go to Mesa because I have family there, but for quick trips, I use Parker. As for the bathrooms, I don't use grocery stores, as I have yet to find ones that are not scary. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience with a front greeter named April. We walked in and forgot our masks and when she unpleasantly asked us to put our masks on I asked if she had an extra one because mine was in the car she said no and when I said that sad meaning I have to walk back to the car and not directed towards her, she proceeded to berate me and got very confrontational and aggressive. When I told her I had not addressed her in an aggressive manner and was polite and that I was the customer and she was the employee she then started to tell me that it did not matter, I then told her that I was going to speak to her manager about her behavior and inappropriateness, she told me it doesn't matter they're not gonna do anything anyway, and that I was on federal grounds. When I went to customer service and asked the woman behind the counter to call the manager she seemed annoyed. The manger came out and I spoke to the her and asked for the name of the confrontational employee and the cashier behind the counter said we don't give out that type of information. I asked the manger if she really was the manger cause she was not wearing a name badge that stated she was the manger. The girl behind the counter proceeded to speak for the manager and tell me about their store procedures in handling this situation. So I asked them if this was OK behavior and they shrugged their shoulders. The manger did say she would mention it to the higher ups but didn't seem really concerned. I'm a customer and do not need to have an employee get aggressive and combative. The second she asked me to put on a mask the friend I was with, reached into her purse and grabbed one we complied immediately. Yes I forgot my mask but yes I am human and it does happen. I wasn't arguing the fact of not wearing a mask, just simply didn't have one on me and asking the employee which I would assume being a greeter at the door they would have an ample supply of extra masks for people like me who forgot. Visited this little gem on a recent overnight business trip - it is clean and well organized. I realized once I got home (3.5 hours away) that I had left one of my bags at the checkout!! I called and they found the bag, but said my only option was to return to the store for the merchandise. I don't see myself returning to Parker, AZ anytime soon, but $40 is more than I can just walk away from. After speaking with the Assistant Manager, and then the Manager (of Customer Service, I think; not the Store Manager), they decided to return the merchandise and put the refund on a store gift card. I just got the card in the mail and I am so relieved and pleased!! Thank You Assistant Manager Debbie and Manager David (? I'm not sure about his name-sorry!!)!! Shopping at WalMart is not always pleasant, but this little store in Parker, AZ has shown me their employees are kind, decent people! read more

I've bought a TV in California And I returned it here in AZ. Well, the customer service rep first lied to me that the returned policy for TV has changed from 90 days to 15 days since Jan 2011. Another rep concurred. It's not listed on the "returned" notice board. I demanded to speak to the manager. It's a lie. I've finally got the TV refunded. Yet turning another leisure trip to a nightmare. Wait! That's the half of it... Walmart won't make it that easy. After catching them overcharging me $20 more on a DVD player in Jan 2011 and that I would have lost it if I didn't have a strong suspicious of their malpractice, Walmart threw me another dirty trick today. California has charged a recycling fee $8 on the TV. This store would not refund that to me. Even the manager refused to do it. They were nice enough to suggest I should claim it at the store I bought. in California... To make a long story short... Walmart is playing the responsibility shuffling game here. Customer rep in CA suggested me to call AZ store to get the refund.... and I can see that it's going on and on, and back and forth. I, the paying customer, will go somewhere else to shop. read more

I was denied a buying a 12 pack of beer because I do not look old enough to be my younger sisters legal guardian. So since it is now wal-marts decision as to what my family structure is, I am not allowed to buy alcohol with my other groceries while my 17 year old dependent is with me but it is perfectly fine with my 7 month old and 6 year old being with me. I have been going to this store since I was 20 with people over 21 and never once did they ask me or my younger wife. This store has really gone downhill. Customer service is horrible. We come here all the time when we're at the river. It's a must stop for all the snacks, drinks, and beer since it's right smack in the middle of town. Also, I am not gonna lie, sometimes it's fun to just walk around Walmar to kill time. It is a huge Walmart, probably one of the biggest I've ever been in to. They have everything, including a full grocery section. I took 1 star off because they always try to push you to use the "scan and go" self check out and it never works. It's also annoying when you have large items in your cart. And 1 off because the customer service desk is sooooo slow. They literally just watch the line build up and do nothing to fix it. The guac is amazing and ac is the best. Wifi solid! Nice break from the heat. Very nice workers and super helpful. The toilet paper was very hard to locate but that's about it.
