It really wasn't bad, would have been awesome if cooked through. The fish was haddock, the batter was probably a recipe from like 20 something years ago. A redo with a lighter beer batter would be most welcome. The fries....well that was a let down. Service wasn't bad, server was nice, perhaps not the most attentive but that falls on training. The food value was kind of ok. The haddock at $20 was meh and should be a star on the menu. Pizza at $18 was perhaps a touch overpriced but I did order the extra protein. I'd consider coming here again, just perhaps be more specific when ordering. In a time of inflation, I think some restaurants really need to understand that a 'good to great place' needs to offer true value to customers. And that can be but not limited to great atmosphere, fantastic service, solid drinks, and excellent food. This place has that potential, but does in a few ways fall a bit flat.
