The burger was well packaged and looked okay, but the way it was cooked was not what I am used to at the other hero burgers. The burger was light in colour and did not have the usual seal leaving it pale and the flavour bland. I'm not sure what the difference was in cooking style, jut I don't think i would return again if the burger was cooked the same way. I'm giving it marks for friendliness and fast service, but the burger was okay. It could use a little more cooking and a bit more flavour.

I decided to forgo my usual burger and went for one of my new favs the Hot N Honey sandwich. I was absolutely in awe over the thickness and crunch of the sandwich. Love the heat of the with the sweetness of the honey. Hands down one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I've tried! My youngest had aa poutine and some of their warm baked chocolate chip cookies. Great service, fresh food and one of the employees came over to check on us to ask if we needed anything else and to ask how our meal was. Very happy that we gave this location another try. Definitely some major improvements since their opening and our last visit! Bonus that it is a 25 min drive from Markham.

Not exactly sure what they're frying in, but the fish batter is spectacular, and doesn't leave the greasy feeling on the roof of your mouth that some other places do. I usually go with the haddock, but the halibut is great too. As for the poutine: while the gravy is a little darker than traditional poutine gravy, it really tasty. What really makes it are the fries and the cheese curds. The fries are cut fresh, and are really tasty. And they sure don't skimp on the cheese curds. Unlike some other places, there's no need to wonder if you'll have enough curds and gravy to go around. The burger is homemade and tasty. Doesn't come with a toasted bun though, so be sure to ask if you like yours toasted. I also love the dill pickle chips. With so many chip trucks in York region, one needs to be pretty special to keep me coming back regularly. Whatever they're doing here is working though, and I find myself here a lot during the summer. Keep up the great work!
