Went here for the first time today. Definitely a Sports Bar and restaurant. Service was quick. Finally a restaurant where the plate isn't stacked so high you need a doggie bag. We had fish and chips. Coming here to help support the reopening of restaurants and to get some lunch. I have to tell you something. These servers are just doing a fantastic job. Pleasant, polite, and a server who wasn't even my server stopped and asked how I was doing. Super fantastic job! The Caesar salad I order was made to perfection. It had just the right amount of dressing. Most restaurants will serve me soggy salad from too much dressing. Went for lunch. All I wanted was a beer and some food. Beer came fast and orders a sandwich. Didn't see another server as I sat on patio by self. After 1/2 hour I left $5 which was $5 too much and left. Woke staff don't like white men. To toxic for those type. Won't be going there again unless I need to take a piss on the front door. I need to mention that I frequent this location many times. Perhaps two to four times a month. I have never had an issue and the food has been spot on. This review is definitely a first for me. We had guests that drove 3 hours to visit us and we decided to go to Chucks for dinner. I boasted that the steaks are usually cooked spot on. It was the worse experience I have every had at a restaraunt. I have to point out the place may have had 1 party of 2 in dining and a few parties on the bar side. So it was not busy. It took over 1 hour for our food to come out. We told the waitress we have been waiting an hour and she said that we ordered late and she will check on it (Like it was our fault). She then came back and said we were right and she was sorry. We had not eaten from the morning and we were hungry. My guests had the steak and lobster and the veggie burger. They had no issues with with their food ( Just the one hour wait). I ordered the Porterhouse steak and my wife had the BLT club. They forgot to put in the bacon in the BLT (That was no a big deal). I asked for medium and the steak came back 60% of it well done and 40% medium. I sent it back and I was ambushed by the chef and waitress who brought back my steak to me (With a deeper cut) and told me it was correctly cooked. They offered to cook another steak however I did not want to wait again (I already waited an hour). I said just leave it. I took the first bite and the steak was cool to barely warm. It was dry and not juicy. My guest who is a chef (30 years experience) said that it looked like the steak was sitting for a while. I sent it back because I just couldn't eat it. Again they did offer to cook another steak for me. They also comped us 25% off the bill. I had no dinner (I didn't want to be the only one eating while my guests are done). It was time to pay the bill and we could not find our waitress. We waited 20 minutes and at that time we called over another waitress who cashed us out. As we were leaving, we saw our waitress coming out of Tim Hortons. Lol. We had a chuckle to tell you the truth. Long story short, we feel it was the waitress that was not attentive and not a reflection of the restaurant. It's not going to deter us from coming here again but we will avoid that waitress. I must say the staff is amazing there, the food is excellent and it alway comes out timely. This I feel was a one off. Hopefully next visit will be awesome like our previous visits. read more

Long wait for our meals, but somewhat a reasonable expectation given that the restaurant was full (Sunday evening after all). We were served by Autumn and she did an excellent job of taking care of us. I had the Big Chuck Burger and it was really good! The meat was just slightly under-seasoned but the burger overall was pretty good. I don't come often because since the rebrand The restaurant has been super busy, but this visit definitely reaffirms that this place is still really good! This was a really good experience. The food was great and the staff were very polite and helpful. I got the BBQ quarter chicken and it was really good, the sauce was delicious, and the fries were nice and crispy, the chicken was tad bit dry but the sauce made up for that. This is the WORST place to eat! Almost an hour wait for nachos and an order of calamari! The calamari were small and over cooked and there were probably 8-10 pieces and half of those were the size of a pebble. They were served with a teaspoon of Thai dip and charged $11.99. Plus they went and threw a 3% charge on the bill...it's called an Honest to Goodness fee to help the restaurant keep prices down and keep serving "quality food"! My ass quality food...the nachos were sub-par and must've had a cup of jalapeño peppers between each and every nacho chip! No exaggeration!!! I ate some of them but had to start picking them out as they were taking over the taste of the nachos. Waitress was clueless and didn't once come over to save that the kitchen was backed up or apologize for the length of time the food took to get served. Had to call the manager over when the calamari came and he apologized and took them off the bill, agreeing with me that they didn't look great! I will NEVER step into one if there restaurants again! No one should!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would but yelp requires something and so I can only give it a 1 star rating read more

Food was barely adequate. Fish tacos were frozen fish sticks in a taco. Sweet potato fries were string size and way overcooked. Server was great however hostess had huge attitude when she was greeting patrons. Definitely won't be returning. Stars given are only because the server was pleasant. read more

Our experience at Chuck's Roadhouse was awful! We ordered an appetizer that never arrived. My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare but was well-done. We had to find another waitress to send it back. Neither the original plate or the replacement came with the corn and not a lot of fries. My salmon was bland. The sauce didn't help much. The salad was probably bagged iceberg salad with a couple of chunks of tomato. We had to ask for salt and pepper and had no ketchup or vinegar for the fries. Yes, we were seated in the bar area because they couldn't seat us in the dining room but when you order food condiments should be available. It was our 1st time and will be our last. read more
