My wife and son accompanied me here for our fist visit since they opened. Overall the food was actually very good, while the prices were a little high for the portions. I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, my wife also had a burger and my some ordered a kids meal mac n cheese. I was disappointed to find that non breaded wings were 3$ more per 8 wings (apparently they buy them in and the breaded ones are made in house?). The ambience of the resteraunt is your basic sports bar. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while there was music it was not overpowering and you could hold a conversation without any issue.
Where things went downhill were the beverages and to a smaller degree the service. The diet coke i was brought was pretty much water and carbonation, and when i inquired they said there was nothing wrong with the drink but that they would "check into it". I sent it back and ordered water with lemon. A short time later i ordered a hot tea, and requested splenda or sweetener. I was brought a 3/4 full cup (No refills on coffee or Tea btw) with pure sugar and when i asked for sweetener was told they did not have any and the best they could do was honey (Pretty short sighted for those who cannot have sugar in their diet). To be fair i would have given 4 stars had it not been for the managers attitude towards the soft drink and the lack or foresight on the sugar free sweetener.
We will likely return for another visit, but next time i'll bring my own Splenda just in case the diet soda is still atrocious. read more
